The only things in thr IMDB that work asre "Blood and Sand" and "The Mark of Zorro," and those fit the latin-style dress. It's a long time since I saw the former, but I'm pretty sure I would have noticed a scene like this, and IIRC there wasn't really any crime involved. There was *definitely* no scene in "Mark of Zorro." I'm guessing it's one of those publicity stills they shoot before they even make the movie. |

In an old Carl McGuire "Bound For Hollywood" column in Bondage Life, IIRC, this was dismissed as a photofake. This was available from Movie Star News (I may even still have a copy I bought there). This was similar to the (presumed) faked photo of Maureen O'Hara gagged in "Hunchback of Notre Dame". |

Hey all, another torrent posting / cap alert from yours trully.
This one has a very short behind the back handcuff scene and cuffed to a hospital bed / medical restraints. Both short scenes, but the torrent is fast right now, it took me about ~23 minutes to get it. http://67.43.172.250/suprnova//torrents/1626/third.watch.s05e20.hdtv-lol.torrent ~25 min for cuffs, ~30 min for medical restraints. Kind of a disturbing episode, but whatever. |

just added 10252 to the scene db. Basically 2 charmed girls hanging off the wall by their wrists, held up with magic webbing or something.
if you want caps, email me. Vid is ~7mb from a tivo rip to vcd. Guy alert in the episode, I've all but removed him though. Nothing beats 2 chicks hanging by thier wrists off a wall. Well, except perhaps, 2 gagged chicks, in skirts, with nipple clamps and with actual restraints not what amounts to fake snow "holding" them up. err. . .I digress. . . Then again, how does she stay up? (thats rose mcgowan right? if not, please correct the dp entry.) Tuesday April 27 07:26:35 2004 The Big Empty |
I watched this movie this past Sunday night, and watched the special features included on the DVD, including the deleted and extended scenes. It seems that Rachael Leigh Cook was bound and gagged a second time by her volatile boyfriend, and driven out into the desert along with him and the main character.
There were quite a few scenes of her bound and gagged, and I was perplexed as to why these scenes were deleted. I thought they were very relevant to the plot, and would've immeasurably enhanced the movie's appeal. Furthermore, they would've answered the question of her whereabouts between the time she is rescued and the final scene in the desert. The inclusion of these scenes would've increased the length of the movie by a few minutes, but so what? |

I can't speak as to the complexities not having seen the film, but including the deleted scenes would have had little effect on the costs, given that they had already been shot. Hadji seemed to be saying that including the scenes would also have prevented plot holes that occurred because of their absence, a pretty good dramatic reason for including them. |

Just got info from the new Entertainment weekly, that "Darkness" ,starring Anna Paquin, is being released in US theaters on June 17. I would assume that this is the original, not the dubbed version of the movie.
Also, Kim Basinger is playing a kidnap victim in the movie "Cellular". The title is eluding to no gag, but you never know. Man, oh man do I hope Halle Berry gets in some sort of trouble in that very naughty Catwoman outfit. Yowza. See you at the movies. |

Left ungagged of course. Spoiler said "magically bound" whatever that means. But Rose McGowan does have some tie-up talk during the scene. "I've always felt tied down", etc. Also, preview for next week's "Alias" appeared to show Jennifer Garner strapped to a table again with electros on the head. She also appeared to be in a white bikini top shown earlier in the preview. Last week, there was a female guest handcuffed to a table (not gagged) who met a bad ending at the hands of the Ron Rifkin character. |

She is cleave-gagged in the deleted scenes. In the scene that is included in the movie, she is gagged with a red bandana. In the deleted scenes, she is gagged with a pink cloth in some scenes, and with an orange cloth in others. The gags seem to be secure and are convincing; I'll bet she really couldn't talk through them. She was not re-gagged by her volatile ex-boyfriend. Enriled at being intimidated and humiliated by the main character, he engages in reprisal. The deleted scenes show him kidnapping Rachael Leigh Cook; he applies a forceful handgag over her mouth and drags her away, out of sight. She is later seen bound and gagged in the bed of a truck. |

It makes perfect sense to make the files as small as possible without omitting any of the "good stuff," causing the dialogue to make no sense whatsoever, and so on. Everyone tends to develop their own style after a while, just as anyone viewing tends to have a preference about how much editing they prefer. (It's occurred to me that, if I ever start making DVDs of my clips, I'll probably take some heat for some of my editing choices, simply because the time/space constraints aren't nearly as important in that context. But, tough...there's no way I have the time to produce two different edits of every clip I make!) |

I imagine you'd approve even more of that, judging by the fact that your tastes lean further towards the "kinky/hardcore" than mine, and that one level has them. Well, the database entry describes it in more detail. And of course, you can't forget your character's ability to handcuff random people who happen to be carrying illegal drugs, etc. |

The funny thing is you just reminded me of two completely different clips from "A Life Less Ordinary" that I'd downloaded. In one of them, Cameron Diaz's character says, while tied to a chair, "so what do you think about sex? Do you have a problem with sex?" etc without breaks. I could tell it was clearly a crop job and I assumed it was done for humorous effect. Later, I saw a more complete clip of that exact same scene, and it included Cameron saying her lines about sex to her semi-"captor", as well as his reactions, all of which included camera cutaways. It certainly included the context of the dialog! Personally, I prefer scenes to have context to them except if it causes them to be too big. I don't mind seeing the captor saying something to the captive, seeing the rescue, etc, if the scene is short. But if it causes the clip to run on for 5 minutes, I wouldn't mind seeing all that stuff be cut out even if it means hearing dialog which skips like a broken CD. Even if the captive is still talking when the camera cuts away ("you'll never get away wi- Help! I'm in h- Thank god you've come to r..."). |

---- I'm thinking one greedy recording studio could put out a compilation of "DiD Great Moments". Not just downloadable from an "adult" website, but a mainstream release. It can't be too far out. There have been soundtracks made with whale calls, "Sleeping" soundtracks with running water and nature sounds, albums with William Shatner and Telly Savalas attempting to sing, and "The Disco Sounds of Donny Osmond". |

This I actually never do these days (though I did when I first started). I just find it too jarring -- and, with a few exceptions, I discovered that the amount of time I was saving by cropping lines was actually fairly minimal. The trickier part (especially with the longer clips) is trying to figure out how to make the dialogue seem reasonably coherent, without necessarily including every line where there's nothing visible on screen. |

I think the Ella Enchanted clip worked out well. Dialog doesn't get cut off - only Ella's lines for the most part are included. It doesn't have "broken CD" effect unless you're listening to the music in the scene where she's tied up over the pot (the music skips, but the voice doesn't). So I think it turned out well. The thing is, I go by frames when using VirtualDub and don't usually listen to the sound. I generally end up creating the best *visual*, not paying attention to the audio. But luckily, I don't think these clips suffered from that. I think most people who decide to check out my Kill Bill and Ella Enchanted clips will probably like them. But I'll try to keep what you said in mind, and make a conscious effort to avoid "broken CD" effect. |

I myself learned of this movie a couple of weeks ago, before its official release on DVD and video. Rachael Leigh Cook is bound and gagged once in the movie, but the Special Features section of the DVD includes quite a few deleted scenes in which she is bound and gagged.
