Ow. Herc over at aintitcoolnews must be crying into some serious beer...and, yep. I haven't seen a font that big in Coaxial for a while now.

Never cared for the show as much as I was supposed to, but cancellation after four episodes with over half a season filmed always sucks for everyone involved.

And just to keep this vaguely on-topic: yeah, I've got the scene on my TiVo. S'pose I should go clip it or something. I'll try to have it done for this weekend's update, if not sooner.

Whence this Ilsa scene?
Anyone know the precise source of this scene from somewhere in the infamous "Ilsa" series? The DB contains only two entries for a franchise that I'd been led to believe should have more. 6558 comes close, but it's ambiguous enough that I can't tell.

BTW, I found the clip in question just yesterday via GUBA's archive of alt.binaries.multimedia.bdsm. (Posting date was March 6.) If you like the thumbnail and your Usenet feed is sufficient, go fetch. Otherwise, I'll try to get a converted clip ready for a future update.

"Ilsa, She-Wolf Of The SS"

The The best of the bunch IMHO, as far as watchability and producing DiD scenes.

HBO Bettie Page movie casting
Just checked with E Online- the winner appears to be Gretchen Mol, with Lili Palmer and David Strathairn supporting. EXCELLENT choice, though I wonder what she'll look like with dark hair.

I noticed that "Ilsa, Harem Keeper of the Sheiks" (1976) wasn't in the Scene Database, so I've added it.

A bad movie, of course --even more so given its titillating title and the obvious DiD possibilities (coming out just one year after "The Story of O"). E.g., the best scene was when a babe was given a total-body oil massage prior to her presentation to a sheik, but she wasn't held down in any restraints.

The Whole Ten Yards
Saw this last night in San Antonio. Hate to be bearer of bad news, but it's virtually a nothingburger, and the movie really sucks too.

Only scene is one in commercials, Natasha Henstridge tied hands in front, her back to a post, alongside the two male leads. That's it for her, no handgags, restraints or anything despite numerous obvious opportunities that would have made perfect sense in the plot.

Nothing for Amanda Peet, either, but the "putzes" get it left and right--the two male leads get chloroformed, three other putzes get full treatment, it's a putzarama.

Basically avoid it like the plague. The movie is really stupid and unfunny too, if you thought Whole Nine Yards was a 7 of 10 this is about a 2.

Again, sorry about the bad news, hopefully I'll report something better next time.

gag babe in phone commercial
While watching A&E last night, I saw several commercials for a phone service featuring a VERY cute gagged babe sitting on a park bench wearing a great, big tape gag. (Not one of those tiny squares). Her cell phone was beside her and the idea was (I think) that she was wearing the tape gag to remind herself that she's not allowed to talk on her cell phone (out of, or running out of paid minutes, I guess). She keeps eyeing the phone hungrily, then smoothing out her gag against her face.

Did I mention she was SMOKIN' HOT? Not dressed skimpily, but big eyes, pretty face, and even in some pretty mundane threads she clearly had a major rack.

Best damn commercial I've seen in a LONG time. But maybe not effective. I have no idea what phone service put it up.

Outer LImits scene this weekend sucked
The Outer Limits scene this weekend was just about totally ruined by major interference. In most shots, the babe was BEHIND the other person. Yech. If you didn't get it, don't be sad, you didn't miss a hell of a lot, though that was some nice bondage on the babe. Plus the ep itself was apparently a "something makes googly-eyed monsters outta people and they scare everyone real bad" story line. The pits.

hi-res pics from The Missing
Here's a website that has hi-res pics from The Missing, in case anyone would like to check them out:

http://www.starletrealm.com/wood_evan-rachel_004_2.shtml

And by hi-resolution, I mean 960x540.
If you just want a decent sample, http://www.starletrealm.com/0126/053.jpg illustrates it nicely.

Hopefully, Natasha can get her act together, her tied and gagged act that is, in May sweeps on "She-Spies." Every time I see her she seems to get hotter and hotter.

MTV
I saw a very fast comercial during the Nirvana video special last night around 2:30 am east coast time. It had a very cute blond with wavey hair gagged with wite tape and I think with something else. I was almost in shock when I saw it. It only lasted like 2 seconds but it was stunning did any one out there get it ? If you send me a copy I will give you a free pass to my site for a year. I thought I would try taping it tonight. I think it is from a music video and I also thought they said something about a live concert ?

Has to be the biggest false-start since the "Buffy" episode when the bad guy says to Willow "You're our prisoner now" and we see from Willow's eyes duct tape coming right at her before commercial. They come back, nothing. Fortunately, they got it right later that season. Hopefully, same for Lindsay at some point.

At least a handgag and a great expression eyeing the tape.

I was hoping it would be in the Deleted Scenes, which that site also features, but unfortunately not.

Unless you fake it!
Anyone care to host the amended pic?
If not, it will turn up on a Yahoo group soon.

Thank you so much Jazz! I have some caps, and video clips, already, but these 70+ hi-res caps are the first I saw that do justice to this wonderful scene.

Thanks again!

Awesome. Glad you appreciate them. Personally I myself am blown away by the picture quality on that site. I think they probably rip pics from the DVDs. Hell, my standard TV can't display pictures as high quality as these.

On navy NCIS tonight 4.6.04, 8 to 9pm EST. Main female lead held hostage in black and white striped blouse; chair bound, hands behind, white knot cleave gagged! ... more later.

I didn't tape it, I was taping Sign of the Cross, but something tells me there'll be other opportunities. It was on an A&E Law and Order rerun, and that's a hefty portion of A&E's programming, so I'm betting we'll see more.

Undoubtedly. Is there any other way to do it?

I'm primarily a clipper, not a capper (except when it comes to Jay L's stuff, which is from broadcast->tape). But if caps are what you're trying to do, using DVD as opposed to NTSC or PAL broadcasts or VHS, when DVD is available, is simply a no-brainer. Over twice the horizontal resolution is nothing to sneeze at: if the difference doesn't jump right out at you, you're in serious need of an eye exam.

(Something ?????)Teacher
I was flipping the channel yesterday and ran across a movie on the Lifetime channel, that was starring this girl from Baywatch(Erika something)any way she played a pyscho teacher trying to take over another teachers life. Near the end of the movie she druggs the lady and bound and gags her with duct tape.

Interesting. That would be the delectable Erika Eleniak -- too bad she's not the one on the receiving end, if you ask me -- and I'm guessing from the IMDb that the movie in question is _The Good Teacher_ (2004). Based on the rather paltry IMDb entry, the damsel may be played by Patricia Kalember. There's currently no entry in Brian's DB, so I'd encourage you to add one with as much detail as you can provide.

Thanks for the headsup.

Nice scene for Sasha Alexander ... and thankfully one of the few these days lacking in viciousness. I'll work up an entry.

Y&R disappoints....again?
Well, the hoped-for Kevin/Lauren scene (where Kevin, in a psychotic rage, kidnaps, ties, and gags the lovely Lauren) may not happen. The last time I saw Kev, he had his bags packed, and was on his way outta town.

...Many Many Thanks for the headsup. It made this Left Coaster one very pleasantly surprised guy. Meanwhile, I hope the gag partisans out there appreciated the very tight cleave gag with the nice big knot in the middle. It did a very thorough and believable job of keeping the bubbles in the champagbe bottle, as it were.

Also of note is the fact that the guy applying the bondage was Tim Abell. Lest we forget, he was a memorable villain in the gorefest "Killer Instinct", in which he spent much of his time tying up the delectable Melissa Crider plus a trio of other DiDs. This guy may not be one of the great thespians of our day, but he sure gets some interesting roles, no?
