West coast alert
Just saw this on Cartoon Network:

Record number: 9876

Title: Witch Hunter Robin
Medium: TV Series
Actress: Mela Lee (voice)

Description: Episode: "Loaded Guns" (1.14)

In this noir-anime, Robin comes home to find her roomate Toko Masaki (Lee) bound and gagged as part of an ambush, a bit after the half-way point. She's kneeling on the floor with her ankles and wrists apparently tied to a slender pole behind her back, although it's not really shown. She is gagged with dark cloth over the mouth. She is wounded during the ensuing battle. She doesn't struggle and makes no sound during the scene.

Thanks for the headsup ... this will repeat at 3AM E/P.

I'll clean up the formatting for the entry.

Well, I'm surprised...
...that no one here even made a wild guess as to the movie made from the novel I excerpted here, and then cheated by going to the IMDb to get the book's title and the pen name the author published it under. Looking up the book or the pseudonym in an online library catalog would have revealed the writer's real name.

But I'm even more surprised that apparently no one else here has ever even taken a look at those snippets from that novel. You see, it's the novel "Nightmare" by Elizabeth Linington, published in 1961 under the pen name Anne Blaisdell. Four years later it was adapted into the screenplay for a movie that now resides in the IMDb under the title "Fanatic," but will be more quickly recognized here by its other name-"Die! Die! My Darling!"

And, as Paul Harvey would say at this point, now you know the rest of the story.

Interesting Historical Scene?
Caught abit of the Creepy Canada show,
abit of a scene with a lady chained arms over head and fondled with a whip by a guy in a mask.
Here we go, supposedly her ghost been spotted walking around,
figure set her up on a date with Bill Barilko. ;)

Anyone want to tape, or catch whole thing,
got it rough at ep: "The Ghosts of Rue Saint Paul" (2.2)

Sorceress mess
Man, am I pissed. My cable guide indicated that last night Showtime Beyond was sowing the 1980s film "Sorceress" featuring the Harris Playboy Playmate twins in elbow yoke bondage. So I taped it. Unfortunately, turned out the listing was wrong -- it was a crappy 1990s flick with the same name featuring Julia Strain and Linda Blair. Lotsa breasts, no bondage, no Playmate twin bondage. This is probably the greatest disaster since the Aroostok War.

The Soaps have always been notorious with this sort of thing. Actresses are gagged for no logical reason (Yay!) but they are also left ungagged when common sense says it's the only thing to do.

Until we all ban together and start a Damsel TV cable network I suppose we'll have to take the good with the bad...

actually the circumstances in this case didn't call for a gag.

The vilian is in the next room with a remote control
the good guy and fifty cops come into the room while he is sitting at the piano holding the remote.
Natalie is in the next room tied to the bed with the bomb on her chest but its not like he's hiding her location and If I was her and had a bomb strapped to my chest while a "Grade A Phsycho" held "the button" somehow I don't think screaming would help still she would have looked cute that way and I'm always in favor of a gag.

as it was she did a fantastic job of emoting she's a great actress she really looked Scairt

Couple items
CBS movie this week features Kirstie Alley in "Family Sins." Based on a true story, I don't know the setup, but previews say Kristie has a welfare mom "locked in the basement." Maybe the mom can turn the tables and tie and gag Kirstie.

Second, USA Network debuts a series "Touching Evil" with a 2-hour debut on Friday, then at 10 p.m. Fridays each week. Review calls it an "X-Files" type show. Female partner of top cop would look good bound and gagged. Worth a look.

my bro has the game and i happened to be watching him. the girl gets captured at gunpoint i belive from some big fat dude. then you have to try to kill the guy as she is hanging from her wrists from the ceiling. evyer so often the guy will press teh button and teh conveyor thing she is tied to starts moving towards a fire. so thats what its all about if yoru into that sorta thang.

Posted some pics
I put up maybe 30 pics from movies under "More Favorite Scenes'' at my site. I capped them right off the DVDs, so the quality is quite good. Have a look.

deadwood
This new HBO movie looks to have a scene (I think) that shows what looks like a woman with her hands tied to a bed frame. It was very quick and not very identifiable. Does anyone out there know anymore about this.

That's how I've been handling it ... it seemed a good way to ID this type of scene since there's not a dedicated button for the genre. It also makes it simple to search for all such scenes.

CSI possibility
I caught a preview for tomorrow night's CSI that seemed to show some babes behind bars. Could be some heavy iron -- the CSI guys know their kink.

possibility on General Hospital
As part of the 'on tomorrow's General Hospital' clips at the end of today's show, they showed Zander, who is anonymously in the hospital faking being badly burned, hiding behind the door as a hot nurse's aide comes into the room looking for him. He is supposed to be going after Emily or Elizabeth this week, so there's a chance he'll have to tie and gag the aide so he can sneak out.

Comic books
Tomb Raider is on a roll--this month's issue begins with Lara Croft tied in an upper spreadeagle to Stonehenge (yep, that's right) for a bondage hat trick. Unfortunately she's in a hooded robe and it's a dream, but still...

I'VE HAD that dream! ...only there was no robe ...& instead of Laura Croft it was Dangergirl ...& Amanda Tapping ...& Catherine Bell ...& Julianne Moore ...& there were these flamingoes singing Gilbert & Sullivan & eating chocolate claires, &... nevermind. :-)
