For those of you disappointed by the lack of bondage in "Killer Workout", let me recommend "Death Spa", another slasher film set in a health club. This inane slasher flick has a redeeming feature: a lengthy bondage scene. The damsel is actress Brenda Bakke, who is bound and gagged to a tanning bed, whose controls have been tampered with so that she will be cooked alive. She is wearing a bikini, and is cleave-gagged with a black cloth. Her wrists and ankles are tied to the ends of the tanning bed. |

There's an unecessary gag applied in 'California Roll'. The Damsel, outlines the futility of a gag under the circumstances, to which the humorous reply in this black comedy is, "We always gag in these situations!". The other funny bit is that the henchmen all suddenly find her attractive after the ball and tape are applied. Who directed this anyway, Jon Woods!? |

The msot obvious answer is two episodes in Wonder Woman where Lynda is bound and Gagged. First in a empty warehouse that is to be bown up in "3 minutes." In that episode the writers obviously wanted the interplay between a gagged Diana Prince and the naive young man who resuces her. If she could speak, she would simply say, "untie me and I (wonder woman) will take care of the rest." The excuse for the gag was her mouthing off to the villian. The second is when Lynda is gagged on a boat carrying only the villians. The writers seemingly have no motivation for the gag except the damsel in distress being gagged. They fill in some lines of the villians commetting. "She sure asks alot of questions." "Yeah it is a good thing we gagged her." It certainly was a good thing |

I think the scene in "Big Trouble in Little China" may qualify. Kim Cattrall is hogtied and gagged in her cell while her friend, and many other captives, are only locked up. I mean..why gag just her?? |

You didn't look in the most obvious place, the Database: Record number: 2726 Title: California Roll (1995) aka Yakuza Connection Medium: TV Movie Actress: J. Cynthia Brooks Description: The wife of a professional golfer agrees to become a "TABLE" serving sushi to some Japanese Mob. Unfortunately the meeting goes sour. She's kidnapped, handcuffed with arms in front to a pipe. The bad guy puts a golf ball into her mouth (close-up) and tapes it. She is wearing a red kimono. Before the BG scene she asks the bad guy not to tie and gag her. Unfortunately, guy alert. > did a search > under john woods for director That was a joke, Jon Woods is maker of bondage films. > and did a search for the > movie title, and i got squat. Really, I found it in the IMDB: http://imdb.com/title/tt0188294/ You need to work on your search techniques. |

Stephanie Kramer is tied up in the villains underground lair. The villains don't gag her until she says one word too many. Another one was the movie "Mother's Day". Three women held captive in a remote cabin. The villains don't gag one of the women, but find it necessary to gag the other two. |

A category which would also include "Normal Again" from Buffy, with Willow and Dawn gagged but Xander not. (Writer Diego Gutierrez and director Rick Rosenthal, consider yourselves thanked!) |

...in response to my call for opinions about whether the "American Justice" scene I described here yesterday merited a database entry, has, as is his wont, asked the most pertinent question and made the best point of the debate so far-and in a single post, at that:
"Is it likely to be of interest to anyone? It isn't the goal of the database to log every scene or quasi scene in the world, but to be a working resource for collectors." Of course, his is the only response yet, so may I take it that the rest of you don't have particularly strong feelings one way or the other about the matter? If so, I will simply point out that there have been at least a couple of posted queries for gurney-or-hospital-bed-strapping scenes here in recent months, so clearly they're of interest to some of us. However, just in case someone who can't bear the thought of such a scene being added-and would have spoken up given the chance-flew to Hawaii for the Pro Bowl this weekend, I'll wait a bit. |

Kim Catrall's character was an annoyingly loquacious lawyer whose incessant self-righteous preaching resulted in her being bound and gagged while the other captives were merely confined in cages. |

The woman who wasn't gagged was the first victim of the deranged backwoods family. The other two were bound to exercise equipment and cleave-gagged with thick white cloths to ensure their tractability and silence while the demented sons played their sick game with the first victim. |

My goal was not to be mean, but to point out that the information was readily available in standard resources. Even if he didn't search the Database (cough cough) I didn't understand where he did search. The title came fine in an IMDB search and also with google. |

It seems like most of the Sky King episodes in which Gloria Winters as Penny was bound & gagged were situations where she was in such remote locations (an old sawmill, a log cabin, a barn, the back of a station wagon out in the desert) that a gag wasn't really necessary; not that I'm complaining, mind you!

> If I were to start a selection of scenes to introduce me
> to the subject which should I start with? > > Kulki The first couple of sites I found on the Internet were Steve's DiD site (which unfortunately he took down because he didn't feel appreciated :-( ), and frequent contributor to this page Van's Vidcap Vault (link below). Van's was a great intro for me and through his site I found this page and all the many others. He stopped updating the site back in 2001 to concentrate on his writing (which also is terrific) but it remains and there is lots of excellent content there. His humorous commentary about the scenes was priceless. Only downside is Geocities has some bandwidth limitations which may prevent you from seeing some of the pages at times. In his own words "Three years of weekly updates, 1.5 million hits, 6,000-9,000 hits per week... It was fun while it lasted. Ciao!" Indeed it was fun while it lasted. This subject can go in lots of directions and serve many different tastes. I began by searching out scenes I remembered from my childhood that started my interest in this subject in the first place. Now I'm on the verge of adding my own site to the fray. Find what you like the most and explore it. There's plenty of help and advice here. It's the place where I get most of the hentai review (and also the one's I haven't reviewed yet, which is a LOT of hentai.) It's billed as a comic book store, and that's mainly what it sells, but it also sells and rents anime DVDs, and has a (relatively) small section of live action films, mostly Hong Kong stuff but a few offbeat productions like Spun. It had the Director's Cut. If you have similar resources in your city, might want to check them out. Most comic book stores DON"T carry anime DVDs, but some (the, um, profitable ones) branch out. |

Ah but it's explained that SHE's gagged because she, the town telephone operator, was a nonstop talker. Interesting, every single example cited had an explanation for why the woman was gagged. Why was Scully gagged in "Our Town"? The whole town was in on it, right? And why was she gagged in the ep where they were going to put the alien being up her butt ... er, into the small of her back ... once again, everyone was in on it, right? |

Not only does this site contain many a fine "DiDcap," but the commentary is hi-freaking-larious! In passing, I want to thank the person who revealed the "Taming of the Shrew" episode of "Moonlighting" (with a bound and gagged Cybill Shepherd) is actually titled "Atomic Shakespeare." As I recall, Bruce Willis actually had the line, "And she looketh good in bondage!" (And she does!) That's my favorite line from Shakespeare. :) |

I heard that WWE wrestling diva Chyna, was once taped down to a chair by Chris Jericho. Does anyone know where caps to this scene might be, if it exists?
She seems to get bit parts every now and then, does anyone else want to see her bound and gagged? I know I do, if a women is going to be buff she better be restrained. |

Actually, they kinda flip-flopped back & forth from t hin to moderately thick (one gal had it go from thin to OTM). However, packing was used in both girls' gags, so that helps counteract the thin gag thing a bit. regarding the poster who asked about Chyna...she WAS taped to a chair by Chris Jericho a few years ago. If I recall, lots of tape was used, around her torso & wrists. No gag. He then proceeded to beat the hell out of her thumb with a hammer (rubber I'm assuming). Fair scene. I sure wish (as many others here do) that Torrie, Trish, Lita, Gail Kim (yowza!!), Dawn Marie, or some of the other hotties in the wrasslin' biz could manage to get themselves into a bound-and-gagged situation. |

In the conclusion of the DOCTOR WHO serial "The Talons of Weng-Chiang" Leela (Louise Jameson) mouths off to the eponymous villian who who is about to submit her to a deathtrap. This first aired in Brintain in the spring of 1977, and the WONDER WOMAN episode "The Starships Are Comin" aired a year or two later, which leads me to believe the writer of the latter might have caught the tale on a hotel telly in Britain. |

The gag in the middle pic at link above cannot be any thinner (well, I guess they could have used dental floss). I do remember renting this video in the early 80's and thinking, more than ever, that it was really amazing the crap that I would watch just to see a bondage scene. |

I would have to assume that we are in the minority in this respect. |

Sunday February 08 23:18:04 2004 Page Update & Rant |
Rant first. Today on Amazon.com I saw where you can buy a 5-disc "best of" collection of season 1 & 2 of "Relic Hunter". So I cross-checked with the database... of the 10 scenes listed for seasons 1 & 2, only two (or maybe 3, I forget) managed to make it into the set. Anywho, a user reviewer commented that if you went to the official "Relic Hunter" web site you could get the whole first season there, but all the hits I got when I searched landed me on some German video game page. So... if anyone runs across a place where I can buy the whole first season, please let me know.
On to the page update... Caroline Munro locked in "Captain Kronos, Vampire Hunter", Allegra Curtis in "Flashback", and Patricia Pearcy in "Squirm". |
