I'd have to give a second vote for Beach Fever. Only saw it once on USA years ago but very memorable. Played for laughs but one of the best mmmphing scenes ever.
Maybe also Lone Star State of Mind and Cybil Shepard in Moonlighting's Taming of the Shrew ep.

_____________

Believe this the one being discussed:

Record number: 110

Title: Moonlighting
Medium: TV Series
Actress: Cybill Shepherd

Description: Episode: "Atomic Shakespeare" (3.7)

The Taming of the Shrew episode. A very reluctant Maddie (as Kate) is bound (wrists in front) and cleave-gagged with a white cloth for her wedding. Medium length scene.

Note: Maddie's gag gets thinner and thinner as the scenes progress.

Well, you've already found this page, so you have a "good start". It's probably a safe assumption you already have an interest in bondage depicted in mainstream media, otherwise you wouldn't be posting here.

Basic steps, (similar to) as inquirying into any topic online:

* Don't rely solely on others' opinions -- Do your own research and form your own likes/dislikes. Click to the "VCR Alerts" section, and watch the TV episodes and movies yourself (either on TV, or VCR/DVD rentals).

* Use the Links in the "Friends Pages" to visit other DiD sites (and utilize the links there, etc.).

* You may be interested in joining one of the (free) Yahoo clubs on the topic, or a DiD caps/vidclips site (free or paysite).

Aside from the appeal of seeing Cybill Shepherd b&g'd for several minutes, mmphing & glaring daggers at Bruce Willis' Petruccio, "Atomic Shakespeare" is considered among "Moonlighting's" best episodes, and some viewers/critics have it listed on their "100 Most Memorable Situation Comedy Episodes".

OK, thanks Jay and Kinky-napper. I was fooled by the "Taming of the Shrew" not being the real ep title.
The series is aired here (I got the pilot and portrait of Maddie scenes so far, both long chairtie scenes) and was afraid I might miss a good one.

And definitely check out some of the other sites that have pics of scenes from movies, shows, soaps, etc. to see which appeal to your particular tastes (lotsa ropework, cleave gags, tape gags, barefoot, gal in boots, whatever is your poison)to see which scenes to try & gather up. There are lots of collectors here with extensive scene collections that can probably get you any certain scenes you decide you are looking for (be sure to check out the Trading Forum page). Good luck.

Fair city
This is a pretty low rent irish soap opera ,along the lines of eastenders and corrie with bad acting and terrible scripts ,but in tonights episode one of the female characters ties another to a chair and attempts to feed her poison .Not sure the reasoning behind it or if there is a full treatment involved (definitely a chair tie though)as i don't normally watch it but i 'll tune in tonight and report back later if it's worth adding to the database.

Wayne, I noticed that on your site you have a picture of Robin Dearden bound and gagged being carried over-the-shoulder about to be put into a van from Knight Rider: "Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death." I have never seen that sequence. It must have been cut for repeats in the USA. You say that you got this scene from someone overseas. Is there more to this scene. Do you see Robin Dearden bound and gagged inside the van? If so, this would be a MAJOR discovery.

Here is the page from his site that contains the picture. You can see that the two villains are from that episode and that Robin is wearing the same jacket.

She's being taken OUT of the van. There was never a sequence where she was put into it.

Who can forget the memorable scene Robin Dearden had in that episode of "Knight Rider"? She played a nosy and annoyingly loquacious reporter who was covering some stock car race. Hers was the ideal personality for a woman who was to be bound and gagged.
She was bound and gagged in several scenes, and "mmph"-ed rather vociferously in all of them. The most enjoyable one occurs at the end of the episode, when she is bound and gagged inside the car, and imploring David Hasselhoff to remove her gag. He refuses to do so because she is so annoyingly loquacious.

One of my earliest memories is the original 'Dragnet' from the early 50s.

Bad guy holed up in a house, just as Joe and the boys are ready to lob some tear gas in, a very well bound and gagged housewife momentarily appears at one of the windows. Never saw that episode again.

The 50s were very good, 30s and 40s mystery/adventure serials and 30s and 40s B Westerns were standard saturday morning Tv fare.

I know I'm omitting some, but the early and mid 50s also gave us the original 'Superman', 'Sky King', Roy Rogers' the various imcarmtiona of the 'Red Skelton Show', and all those cookie cutter detective series, 77 Sunset Strip, Hawaian Eye, etc.
