The Perfect Tenant (Stacy Hogue bound and gagged) is on right now (at least on the west coast) on the Lifetime Movie Network. The scene has not happened yet. It ends at 10:15 pm pacific time. |

One more time on "Fred's" full treatment. I noticed that she and the 2 putzes were gagged with torn bed sheets. Where in the heck would the villian find bed sheets in a law firm. This isnt Ally McBeal.LOL |

Friday February 13 10:23:04 2004 Regis & Kelly |
Well, today's the final day of the week & Live w/ Regis 7 Kelly just started & she's certainly not keeping silent, so I guess that kinda kills the hope of her being gagged for the episode in her attempt to not say anything the whole episode. Shucks. |

Friday February 13 10:40:13 2004 Angel |
Now that I've seen the scene, I can throw in my 2 cents. AS for her not moving much, that is a negative. However, most importantly, she has great eyes. She shows a great sense of what it means to be tied and gagged just in her eyes alone. That is a huge plus. Her nose work left something to be desired, and she did stand too still. All in all it was a 5 to a 6 out of 10. |

Or before the tie ups maybe he made his way up to Angels' penthouse apartment and nabbed some sheets out of a linen closet or straight off the bed. A better question would be how the bad guy got into the building without setting off the vampire detectors that used to give Angel so much trouble. |

Shucks. I fast-forwarded through it all week so I'm not certain if it was even discussed during in any episode. They did have some big-name guests on each day this week, so maybe they're saving that silence for a slow episode. |

---- Only 7 minutes worth of silence is the penalty for a lost bet?! That's scarcely longer than John Cage's seminal work: 4'33" [of silence]. Which gives me an idea for making a 4'33" music video... |

Regis and Kelly discussed the silence bet earlier in the week and gave the impression that it would still happen in the future during the beginning of their show. I am hopeful but would'nt bet the house. |

Friday February 13 12:40:44 2004 What interview questions would you ask? |
I got to thinking, if one of us were to have the opportunity to interview a lady that has had a mainstream DID scene. What would be a standard set of questions (besides those specific to the scene itself) that we'd ask?
Examples: When you were reviewing the script, what thoughts did you have? Did you submit any suggestions to improve the scene? were they implemented? |

Kerhop wrote:

One that I'm really interested in is how the actress feels playing out the scene - does she try to relate to the character and her predicament? Or does she just "go through the motions"? One of the things I like about mainstream live action DiD is the idea that the actress herself has to be tied up (as opposed to a cartoon, where at most she has to mmmph, or shout for help). So I sometimes wonder what went through the actress's mind when the ropes were pulled tight around her wrists...if they were, that is. So questions regarding that and the emotional impact of the scene and its context would be the ones I'd find most interesting, and maybe even non-DiD people as well. |

Since when is she barefoot in an office enviornment, with a lab no less? Of course, actresses that have trouble balancing on chairs for a long shoot (and who forget their sensible shoes) might want to be barefoot. |

Seems that last time we got a report of a scene in this series from the previous night, the episode aired again just a few nights later on BBC-1. According to Yahoo TV, this weeks' episodes of Wire in the Blood are "Behind the Scenes", "Still She Cries", and "Darkness of Light". |

The movie "Vector Files" does indeed exist. A quick look at imdb.com and the internet proves that. In fact you can even find a trailer at this website:

I wonder what he would have thought of that. ---- OK, here's my thought. One of the fastest-selling and memorable songs of all time was "We Are the World". Why? It certainly wasn't the song itself. It was the lasting image of all those top singers together at the same time. For the 4'33" video, I'd invite some of our favorite rock/pop/country wishlist damsel singers. And in some respects, a Gagged 4'33" rendition would be simpler to manage than "We Are the World". Quincy Jones (or I) would greet each arriving superstar "Check your egos at the door", and then fasten on their gag. We wouldn't need to run through several practice sessions, nor would we have to endure those petty catfights over who gets to sing what line (and/or whether her rival got to sing a longer part) or singers trying to overpower each other rather than harmonizing. I've a feeling a Pay-per-view telecast "for charity" (moi) + a DVD/video with behind-the-scenes extras would bring in the $. I dare say it'd at least stick in one's mind as much as Coca-Cola's "I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing" (Hilltop singers) 45-seconds TV commercial. |

Friday February 13 22:07:32 2004 AOH Preview (Maybe) |
You guys my be in luck. While watching Telemundo tonight I saw comercial for an upcoming telenovela "Prisionera". A quick shot shows a woman with her arm stretched upwards, but her hands aren't visible in the shot. She might just be holding on to some bar, but it looks like a some chain is dangling at the edge of the screen, so that gives me hope. (I'll try and catch it and post a cap to tease yall.)
And I have no idea when this series starts it's run. |

---- I think a gagged karaoke rendition of "I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing" would be analagous to lip-synching to the original Kingsmen's version of "Louie, Louie". The words are virtually unitelligible, so one could gag-sing almost anything they want. |

4'33" for Prepared Damsels
More preparation than just gags would be required! As Cage's prepared piano stuff meant that various objects/materials were attached to the strings to alter their tone/timbre/etc and they were played by plucking, stroking etc, more than minimal restraint for the prepared damsels would provide the best listening (and watching) experience. [insert maniacal laugh] I must say I'm surprised that there are at least 3 of us here who know who John Cage was. |
