The commercial for the TV-movie "Fatal Error" also showed that kind of shot with Janine Turner, and it turned out to be a great bound and gagged scene. Let's hope it happens to Ashley! |

Tuesday February 17 06:42:08 2004 Movie Packs? |
I'm no more in favor of spam than the next person, however lately been receiving a lot of "Mystery Movie" and "Horror Movie" pack ads (see link) and wondering if anyone else is familiar with these collections and the DID material that they might contain? Some of the included titles look promising.

Tuesday February 17 07:02:33 2004 The Return of Heather Lowe? |
In a new Viva paper towel commercial, a kid is getting water all over the place and his mother says "Kevin (or whatever his name is) what are you doing!?" The kid thinks he is in trouble. Then his mom says "You're supposed to do it like this", she squirts him with the kitchen hose, and they get into a water fight. I think that the mother is played by Heather Lowe, who had a very memorable bound and gagged scene in S.W.A.T.: "Lessons in Fear" in the 70s. Is it her? Has anyone else seen this? I would love it if she returned to full-time acting. Perhaps she could even get another B&G scene to her credit. |

Tuesday February 17 09:29:54 2004 y&r - Tracey Bregman |
I checked Monday's update on the CBS site. Apparantly the psychopath Kevin has overheard that Lauren (Tracey Bregman) has went out with him on a date to the party they are at to set him up. (for an arrest?) Knowing how soap operas are, there's no guarantee that anything will happen today, or that if something happens it won't be a disappointment. (Police converging on the party and busting Kevin before he even gets a chance to try to kindnap Lauren?) But, February is sweeps month, so the situation bears monitoring.

Most of these movies are not copyrighted, and can thus be sold cheaply in group dvd sets. The Bretnwood movie sets have contained only a few scenes that I can remember, but if you're looking for a scene that is random, old, and not usually aired on TV, you best bet can sometimes be on these collections. They sometimes have lousy tv-movies on these sets, so it's not out of the question that some day they might have "Terror Among Us" on one of their collections. |

Recently got in factory boxed dvd of Haute Tension. Thought it was excellent. Lot of closeups and lengthy bondage scenes. Alsojust checked out S.I.C.K. Had 2 bondage scenes. One cleave gag (some closeups). Another wrists roped behind (fairly short scene). Pretty low budget flick. |

Tuesday February 17 11:22:21 2004 House of Whacks |
Cinescape.com reports that Chad Michael Murray has been cast in the remake of HOUSE OF WAX. That's the good news (I guess.) The bad news is they say Chad "will play one of a number of teens that are stalked by crazies that encapsulate their victims in a sheath of wax." Great... instead of a Murder Mystery with Pulp DiD aspects we get a remake of Friday the 13th, with wax.
Anyhoo... I guess the GOOD good news is they seem to be going for A-list teen actors, so... Hillary Duff? Jessica Biel? Michelle Trachtenberg? Lindsay Lohan? WHO KNOWS who we might see strapped to a table & waiting for the wax to heat up! :-) |

Tuesday February 17 13:12:57 2004 Charmisma Carpenter wants Wonder Woman |
This needs to become reality:
(from tvguide.com on Feb 5) TVGO: What are your plans? Carpenter: Well, I can tell you what my goals are. I have a son now, so I want the half-hour sitcom lifestyle, where you can have a family and work. And then, during summer hiatus, I'd like to do a Kill Bill or Wonder Woman or some movie like that. TVGO: Wait, you want to do the long-rumored Wonder Woman movie? Carpenter: I am actively putting it out there that I want to do Lynda Carter. It's my mission to be Wonder Woman! My agent hasn't seen a script, but some studio needs to do it. She's beautiful, she fights, and I like the concept of an empowerment role. I've always been so passive on Angel, where they usually wouldn't let Cordelia do martial arts stunts. Charisma wants to kick ass and bust heads! |

Tuesday February 17 15:10:35 2004 New scene on TCM |
I saw a short film on TCM Saturday arounf 3:30 am it must have been from the 30's or 40's it was about smuglers on a ship. Any way I only caught the end of it but they had a family boudn and gagged ( very well) nice thick tight cleave gags also they where all put in sacks with heavy chains around them. They tried to drown the daughter in a tank , but then the good guys came in and saved the day. At the end they had some goverment guy saying dont let this happen to you etc. I talked to Brent Smith about it and he said he had seen it himself a few years ago on TV but he also missed taping it. Does any one have this scene or know any thing about it ? |

Charisma wants to kick ass and bust heads! Any good storyteller understands dramatic contrast. For a character to seem empowering, she also has to rise out of danger so as to show the contrast between her predicament, and her ability to escape it. So if they have good writers, I'd imagine they'd have to have her tied up or at least in danger often enough to create dramatic tension. |

That is a good point. In the film 'Bound' if she had a secure blindfold (something such as tape since the usual cloth could be worked off as for gags mentioned somewhere else) she would not have noticed the cutters and escaped. Unless she remembered that they were left on the floor and wriggled and rolled around until she found them (now that would be a scene I think I would enjoy) |

Tuesday February 17 18:48:15 2004 Electra Woman and Dyna Girl |
I just found out over at the Comic/Cartoon Correspondence Yahoo group that TV Land is showing an episode of Electra Woman and Dyna Girl (a Saturday morning show from the 70s) at 8:30 pm as part of a Sid and Marty Krofft block. The characters are played by Deidre Hall and Judy Strangis. I have no idea if there will be a scene but it is always possible. |

---- I don't believe its 8 episode run was enough to produce any true DiD scenes. However, as several IMDB.com User comments have noted, *some* here might be interested in the spectacle of Diedre Hall and Judy Strangis dashing about in spandex. :-) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0147762/ |

Tuesday February 17 19:37:45 2004 y&r update - Lauren |
Lauren was at the party with Psychopath Kevin. She was asking questions trying to pick his brain to get something incriminating on him as part of an investigation. (But Kevin overheard a conversation and knows what she is up to.) He tells her he would be more comfortable talking about his personal life if they could go to his place. Lauren reluctantly agrees, and they start to leave. Meanwhile, Paul who is doing this investigation finds out Kevin used to be an electrician, and it looks like a light bulb goes off in his head at that point. He's probably wondering why an electrician would have duct tape at his house. So, look for some action with Tracey Bregman possibly getting duct taped and perhaps gagged. She's been duct taped before, so I'd like to see some alternate form of restraint. Properly tied ropes, or better still handcuffs, although we did see her cuffed briefly a few times in the movie "The Concrete Jungle" some years ago. So, perhaps some action will be going on starting Wed 12:30-1:30 EST.

Caught the end of Monday's edition as I was tuning in for "Babe Fest", I mean "Las Vegas". The couples episodes went out on a high note, with the guy having to rescue his handcuffed lady after she jumped in a body of water (he jumps in from a helicopter). Has it occurred to ANYBODY in the mainstream that the success of the early Wonder Woman comics was PRECISELY due to the combination of a heroic, kickass female lead with plenty of bondage scenarios? As I understand it, the creator of Wonder Woman, Marsden, was a shrink and very likely a bondage fan who had a VERY unconventional personal life involving two wives. Jeebus, it's tiresome to see mainstream types look at properties like Wonder Woman and the Gor novels and keep stammering out, "Two ... plus two ... equals ... ... ... FIVE!" |

> Anything happening on Smallville yet?
> Nothing yet. Maybe because it's on tomorrow :) Speaking of which, spoilers say the stalker girl can teleport herself and anyone she's touching. Does that make it more likely she stashes Lana away before she hooks up with Clark? I think it does because generally Clark can get to anywhere fast to save Lana, except if she's teleported, because he doesn't have a power that sees that, plus Lana can be moved instantly if he's hot on her trail. Therefore, since Lana will be left alone when captured, there will be a B&G for her tomorrow night, or tonight, depending on what planet you're from. |

I never remember seeing a single one. Unfortunately I must concurr! I watched religiously and they never even came close to being tied. they dod have a scene where they were hanging in nets though. Joy on the Bugaloos did get tied up at least a few times I remember her being tied and gagged at least once as well. I think there were more scnes than the DBase lists but that might be scene creep. I was quite the lad at the time. it was nice that her bondage tonight was so good(per se) when the other Bugaloos rescued her you could see that her ankles were actually tied AND CINCHED. it took them all alittle work to free her. Oh and joy was tied up by Benita Bizarre (Martha Raye) WITCHIEPOOH WAS ON "H.R.PUFF-N-STUFF" and exactly how lame am I that I know that? |

This is the "Secret Service" movie short I mentioned a couple of weeks ago. These are used as fillers for TCM and so do not appear in the schedule. As far as I know they were made in the 40's and reflected some of the work done by the secret service. This was the "people smugglers" episode. |
