This is your site and your rules, and I'm fine with that, but I don't understand how my observations about Life of David Gale violates them. True, I made passing reference to commercial bondage videos, but my focus was on the David Gale scene.

Everyone will have their own favorites for this category -- for example, I award "bonus points" for the attractiveness of the damsel. Off the top of my head, here are some of mine:

TV: American Girls ("A Crash Course in Survival") with Priscilla Barnes left in the back seat of a car.

Movies:
Eaten Alive (1976).
Four Rooms (1995).
Beach Fever (1987).

What do people here prefer?

1) Closed mouth mmmmmmmmph (tape-gag/OTM)
2) Garbled thin-cleave mmmmph where the DinD can talk but the words come out as gibberish
3) Thick-cleave mmmph (fave one is Heather Thomas where she's B&G by Mary Crosby with a nice thick-cleave/AOH set up)

Really bad when it's a tape-gag because it signifies an extreme loosie

*MY* choice illustrates the complexity of factors that go into choosing "favorites." It is:

Yancy Butler as Sara in the season 1 episode of Witchblade, "Periculum;" specifically, the scene where the pretty boy sidekick character comes knocking at Sara's door. Sara, in her underwear of course, is bound to her bed by the tendrils of the witchblade. It's just pinned her head to the pillow, & as she tries to call for help, it gags her. Some *delicious* mmmphing ensues as the camera switches back & forth between Sara & the guy at the door.

Pros:
(1) There's been a slow build of Sara being made more & more helpless throughout the episode.
(2) She's already said in an earlier scene that she's "really scared."
(3) Prettyboy is explaining to her that the "gnarly test" will be very dangerous, not knowing of course that Sara damn well knows how gnarly things things are getting & she NEEDS HELP!!! It's the old so-near-yet-so-far thing.

Cons:
(1) the gag is pretty "loosie" (although Yancy's acting sells it.)

Anyhoo... that's my choice. Go figure. :-) (I wish Witchblade would come out on DVD, dammit!)

I read that it was just a rumor and that Beyonce Knowles will definitely NOT be playing Lois Lane. So far, the role is still open.

Too bad. Just my opinion, but Beyonce would be the hottest Lois Lane ever. Even Teri Hatcher, babe that she was at one time, on her best day couldn't stand the eyeball test with Beyonce. Woof!

Since TV is long on retreads, maybe they'll remake Lois & Clark with Beyonce as LL. Wishful thinking of course.

Re: Beyonce Knowles
Texan singer Beyonce Knowles is being tipped to star opposite Oscar- nominee Johnny Depp in the forthcoming Superman movie. The "Crazy In Love" hitmaker, 22, is in discussions with Warner Bros bosses about the possibility of taking the role of Clark Kent's journalist girlfriend Lois Lane. The Pirates Of The Caribbean: The Curse Of The Black Pearl star is the favorite to play baddie Lex Luthor, while relative British unknown Henry Cavill may play the caped crusader in Superman: The Last Son Of Krypton. Beyonce caught the eye of producers after her sexy performance in Goldmember and more recently The Fighting Temptations. A studio source says, "Beyonce is perfect to play Lois. She's feisty and sexy."

Apple gag on Days of Our Lives
In a fantasy sequence, "Bonnie" (Judi Evans) imagines that the head of a roast pork turns into the head of "Julie" (Susan Hayes), saying that she will expose Bonnie for the golddigger that she is. Bonnie then stuffs an apple into Julie's mouth to shut her up. There is some mmmphing.

As the World Turns
The Simon character was exposed as a double on Monday, and he's got Katie at some secluded location with the cops now on the trail. She doesn't suspect anything yet, but this might be worth keeping an eye on despite Teri Colombino's bad track record. Although another tie-up is better than nothing.

Oh, yeah. Beautiful gag talking from the old gag pro, Lynda.

I loved when she became increasingly frustrated when her halfwit rescuer was fumbling with the bomb, when he should've ungagged her so she could tell him how to disarm it.

I believe that both surmises are true. An actress may be gagged, but the script may still require her to mumble unintelligibly through her gag, or even say something that is intelligible through the gag.
Most gags devised by prop men are most likely not very tight, so the actress may still be able to talk intelligibly through such a gag. She may try and talk even though she is gagged, perhaps to protest the discomfort of the gag, if it's too tight.

A very good question and difficult to answer without a great deal of thought. My instinctive answer would be the scene from 'The incredible 2 headed transplant'

Title: Transporter, The (2002)
Medium: Movie
Actress: Qi Shu, aka Shu Qi

Description: About 15-25 minutes into the movie the transporter hears a lot of mmmphing from the back of the trunk. A few moments later he opens the trunk and Qi Shu's tape gagged face pokes out, the rest of her body in a bag. He pushes her back in, but a little bit later, he opens the trunk and her head comes back out, so he puts a small hole in the tape so the Qi Shu can drink through a straw. Short time later she is let ouf of the bag and untied so she can go to pee. She reaches to take the tape off her mouth but the transporter says "do you need your mouth to pee?" so she leaves it on. She escapes, he follows her, ties her up, puts the tape back back over her mouth, carries her over his shoulder to the car. Five minutes later she is shown tied up to a chair and tape gagged, struggling, shorter scene. then she is again in the car and immediatly next on the street tied to the chair still, tape gagged. Next they are the transporter's house. He asks her a few questions and regags her twice when the answers are what he wants to hear, nice mmpphing then. Decent length scene.

Just something to keep in mind, md. Never search for "The" in a title. In the database, the word "The" actually comes after the title, in keeping with naming conventions. Searching for partial titles rather than exact names usually works best.

Pasi¢n de Gavilanes-possibility
Today's episode seemed to have three men in a truck making comments as female guest's went into a fashion show, including two of the main Female leads. They seem to be waiting for the two sister's to come out. Preview's show one of the sister's holding a rifle tomorrow, while someone is holding a gun on one of their boyfriends. I don't know what is going, we can hope for a kidnapping, but a least it should be interesting.

I remember being disappointed that I did not collect any Mariana Ximenes full treatment scenes the first time around though there should be many upcoming episodes that I did not record back then so hopefully I just missed something.

As far as the blonde goes I don't remember anything with her though she's not my type so I may have just forgotten.

I haven't yet transferred files from my old computer to my new one (XP Media Center -- buggy but rapidly changing the way I collect scenes the way my Tivo did a couple of years ago). When I transfer the files I'll look over my original Uga Uga collection.

Eliza Dushku in Wrong Turn comes immediately to mind. I also love the "Koo-Koo Clock Caper" ep of Inspector Gadget, with Penny's great, frantic mmmphing as five o'clock rolls around. Oh, and Lori Petty in Point Break.
