I apologize if this may have been discussed awhile back I have not any recent postings about this series that originally aired in France back in 1999. I checked out the scene database and there were two hits for the hot woman lead Ingrid Kavelaars.
The show debuts tonight(01/09) on the Sci Fi Channel. Does anyone have input to share about this show??? |

Friday January 09 09:43:17 2004 Tight OTM gags |
Which are the tightest, most cheek-bulging, nose-stretching mouth-covering gags in mainstream cinema and TV?
Any material - cloth, wrapped tape, leather, rubber, etc. I'll kick off with Judy Geeson in "Candle for the Devil", Karen Dotrice in "The Thirty-Nine Steps", and, of very similar appearance, Karen Elkon in "Matthew Blackheart." Honourable mention to Rhona Anderson in "The Black Rider", though the gag is less tight in some shots. And, of course, Victoria Principal in "Blind Witness", despite the multiple incarnations of her wrapped tape gag. At least, it's always very tight. |

Love that Lynn Herring scene and Martha Byrne hogtied...yowza! I have some caps from the beginning of the Sunset Beach scene. I'll forward them to you. |

I wanna smack the continuity director right in the back of the head for that one! Also "The Abductors," where the one girl's gag falls off her mouth as the kidnappers were lifting her off the bed (you can clearly hear her saying "God damn you"), to the very next shot where they're lifting her out of the window, gag in place. |

Martha Smith on "Scarecrow & Mrs. King." Starts as an effective OTM in the crate. Later, still in the crate, it's a cleave-gag. |
Friday January 09 12:47:47 2004 Re: Greatest gag continuity gaffes of all time? |
Daneen Boone in "Expose", where her gag actually changes from tape to cloth cleave & back again! Now THAT'S a continuity gaffe for ya! |

I remember picking that scene up in progress after she was tied to the chair in the shack simply because CBS ran primetime promos of Martha tape-gagged. I had no idea I missed that part earlier on the bed. I've already sent my thank-you note to trader dave. |

---- But I have to award points to the "Savage Abduction" scriptwriter + director: We just don't see enough B- movies with Onscreen two-piece Gaggings of two cute miniskirted damsels. |

You mean the movie "The Untouchables" with Kevin Costner? I know of no such scene. There was quite a scene in "Billy Bathgate" and Bruce Willis was thrown overboard afterward. What other TV shows and movies can you name that have cement shoes scenes in them? Besides "Head Above Water", "Lady in Cement", and "Addams Family Reunion", do you know of any other TV shows/movies with womens' feet in cement? Thanks, Mark |

Friday January 09 16:21:04 2004 Re: Greatest gag continuity gaffes of all time? |
I'd have to say Kristian Alfonso on Days of Our Lives; the scene where she's tied to a chair and cleave gagged with a blue bandana while wearing a red sweater. She knocks over a vase with her feet, tilts her chair over, and uses a shard of glass to cut her bonds. Really great scene, but when we cut back to her just as she is about to free herself, her gag is off. Then, when she finally does free herself, she is wearing the gag once again and pulls it out of her mouth as she gets up off the floor. Pretty big continuity as she goes from being gagged, to being ungagged, to being gagged again all in one foul swoop. Not that I'm complaining, mind you! |

Scarborough Village Theatre is presenting the play 'Hound of the Baskervilles' from Jan 8-24.
Haven't seen the play but there may be the B&G scene presented in the book (and in a couple of movies). |

If the actress in question escapes the ropes, perhaps she can benefit from some expert advice and be corrected in her ways. One thing going for theatre over the movies is that they tend to take the art more seriously, so I would think more likely to stay true to the book than the movies - I'm waiting for the film version of 'UrineTown' btw...that would be worth the DVD for all the extra footage. |

I must admit I didn't follow too closely (it was late night, and I still need to work a lot on my Italian). Besides the two scenes in the DB I seem to remember another, earlier scene, possibly in "Fatal Error" (1.15). Definitely nothing of substance. I believe Laura and some other people, mostly guys, held captive for a while, sitting on chairs with their hands behind their backs. Not sure if there were any bonds or handcuffs to see. No gag. |
