Monday January 12 00:25:30 2004 Young and the Restless |
I spent some time this week clipping my old soap opera tapes before they suffer any more degrading. Along the way it hit me, I haven't heard of any bondage on Y&R in ages. The last scene I can think of was Heather Tom in a wedding dress, which was over two years ago. Is any one watching this show or is it just not producing? (Maybe that's why Heather moved over to OLTL, they agreed to tie her up four timea a year.<g>) |

The ball gag would have been unique, but after seeing the scene, I'm glad they re-did it. In the still photo she's just sitting there hands in front (presumably tied), but in the finished production she's strapped down to a table that tilts up. In a way, we were lucky to get the scene we got. Did anyone else wonder why she needed to be gagged if the injection paralyzed her vocal chords? Anyway, I loved that element of having her bound, gagged, and helpless with her friends right outside the window. Lastly, it looks like she also had a black rubber ball in her mouth in that brief interrogation scene where they were giving her electro-shock (right before the sleep deprivation scene). At least it looks that way to me. Her mouth is open, but all you see is this black space where her teeth should be. |

In the entire tape-gag scene, it appears the ball-gag is under the tape. Check the indents on the sides where the ball-gag would be. There appears to be a round surface. I think it's under the tape, and the photo still from the web site might have been a scene where the bad guy takes the tape off, and there's the ball gag. |

It did seem like there was an object inserted in her mouth during the electroshock treatment; her mouth seemed to be partially open. This is logical; a gag would have to be placed in her mouth to prevent her from chewing up and mangling her tongue during the application of the electric shock. I'm glad she was bound and gagged, period, regardless of the method used to gag her. It would've been nice to see her gagged with a ballgag, but the duct tape was sufficiently delectable. Furthermore, it was a lengthy scene with numerous closeups of her gagged face. Either the producers finally decided to reward loyal viewers, or it must be "sweeps" month, and they wanted to attract viewers. Has it occurred to anyone that they may have filmed that scene with a ballgag in order to entice viewers? They may have had no intention of actually including it in the episode; they may have filmed the scene, and permitted the release of some stills so as to disseminate news of the scene, knowing that this would attract viewers. I'd love to know whether there was an increase in the number of people watching "Alias" this past Sunday night. |

Caught the "Alias" scene myself last night and like most of you was expecting a big ballgag scene as well. Regardless, the scene was seemingly overdue for Ms. Garner. Inspecting the video there does seem to be something inserted into her mouth behind the tape, and her entire mouth is black during the quick electroshock scene.
I have posted five small caps on my site at: http://www.geocities.com/traderdave42/alias/alias.html. Hope it fills the gap for those of you who missed the scene! |

I'll say! Long time between gags for Ms. Garner, all the way back to SWIFT JUSTCE IIRC. But it was a good tapegagged scene and she played it well, rolling her eyes and so forth. > Did anyone else wonder why she needed to be gagged if the > injection paralyzed her vocal chords? Well, maybe the captor just liked seeing her gagged and/or wasn't entirely sure the injection would (immediately) work on her vocal chords. Did have another question, as below. Moderator, though it's directly about the scene, please redirect if appropriate. > Anyway, I loved that element of having her bound, gagged, > and helpless with her friends right outside the window. Was wondering about this. Meaning, her father, Vaughn, Dixon et al.-experienced CIA agents all!-just standing there and doing nothing while an unidentified van parks on a remote beach. Granted it was a funeral, it wasn't a cemetary crowded with gravediggers and mourners, seems they would have investigated something that suspicious, had it tailed, whatever. Yet agree that it was a good element, even with the possible lapse(s) in logic. > Lastly, it looks like she also had a black rubber ball in > her mouth Perhaps. Still prefer cloth and then tape over ball/bargags for DiDs. The latter type of gag only as a last resort, when the scene will provide no other, or when there's cloth or tape at some other point. |

Pretty daring to have the van at the funeral scene on an isolated beach. Also, where was Mummy at the funeral? (Lena Olin was booted off the show due to a contract dispute). |
Monday January 12 12:50:49 2004 Rebeca |
Did anyone get the name of the blonde actress in the Spanish soap "Rebeca" from a few weeks ago who was tied hand & foot and tape gagged on the basement floor? Nothing is in the Database about that scene (but the scene w/ Marjorie de Sousa tied to the tree, which happened at the same time, is in the database). I can't understand Spanish enough to make out her character's name to check credits. |

I'm not realy a fan of the "dark torture chamber brainwashing" type fo bondage. I'm still hoping that she gets a nice chair tie & cleave gag when she's in one of those awesome outfits. |

Its no big. I was just curious. I just couldn't remember if I put the scene under "Kroft supershow" or wonderbug. At first I was't even sure it was wonderbug rather than speedbuggy (which was a toon). I just kinda wondered if someone thought it was a BS post & ditched it. |

Monday January 12 13:14:46 2004 Vampiro |
Another question: occassionally I've seen posts mentioning the Spanish show El Beso del Vampiro, which features (I guess) vampires. Anyway, I just got a scene in trade from this show where a nice looking lady is wrapped in chains & OTM gagged (along w/ a male friend, who isn't gagged but is similiarly chained up). A fairly long scene, at one point the girl is ungagged, spouts nonstop for a few moments & is promptly re-gagged. I can't find this show in the Database...does anyone have a name for that actress? |

Monday January 12 14:56:36 2004 Alias Gag |
My high definition TV recording of Alias clearly shows a black device in our heroine's mouth. My guess is it's a rubber piece between her teeth to prevent mouth mangling when they turn on the juice. |

the previews show "Elizabeth" finding the secret button to the panic room where Alcazar is currently being held prisoner.
Would be nice if she opens the door he escapes but leaves her Bound & gagged to make good his escape. Yeah like THATS gonna happen. But Thursday/Friday there is a really good possibility for "Sam" |

Something like one time in several hundred, the little IR gadget that my TiVo uses to tell my cable box to change the channel fails miserably, and I'm left with (in this case) an episode of Gunsmoke rather than a full-treatment JG scene. I should probably warn everyone at this point that this may be among my final updates, at least with my current host, who has been letting me down in a big way for months now. Monday January 12 21:31:52 2004 West Coast Alert for Fear Factor Faux Gag |
Fans of faux gags may like the opening contest on Fear Factor, which is a couples competition. The guys have to pick up worms in their mouths and drop them on their partner's heads. Their partners are sitting beneath a table with thier heads coming up through the table. Their heads are in clear acrylic boxes and they breath in and out through a plastic tube (remember, their heads are covered with earthworms.
Nasty, but there's some bondage stuff in there. Aired at 8 pm EST on NBC. |

There are a few caps in the Files of
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/gaggedactressesontv Sorry, folks, but that object under the tape appears to be not a ball, but the ultimate scene spoiler, a cardboard lip protector. Ms G's jaw is obviously shut, and her lips are together, with a singly-curved, not convex, oval about 1mm thick covering them. It throws distinct edge shadows, and the tape is just about hanging on above and below. In fact, there's a gap on the bottom edge. She could have that 'un off in about a second if she chose! :-( Absolutely no comparison with her superb red tape scene in "Swift Justice", IMHO. |

Title: My Favorite Spy (1942)
Medium: Movie Actress: Ellen Drew, Jane Wyman Description: Not the Bob Hope film. Band leader Kay Kyser plays himself as a nebbish recruited by Uncle Sam to infiltrate a ring of spies; he is to do this by acting unpleasant and un-American (all played for laughs, mind you, at the height of WWII), to attract the spies' attempts to recruit him. His wife, Ellen Drew (not in on the secret), leaves in disgust. The night she picks to return, the feds have G-Gal Jane Wyman posing as Kay's wife while he meets the spies. Jane takes Ellen to another room to explain things; from behind, she pulls down her coat, pinning her arms, and hand-gags her. Later, Kay goes to check on her; he hears much mmpphh-ing coming from a closet, and opens the door: there she is, sitting on a chair, hands bound behind it, ankles tied to the legs with scarves, gagged with dark cloth over her mouth, squirming, grunting, and glaring daggers. He does his best to explain, and leaves her. Later, Jane goes to check on her -- Ellen has freed herself, and grabs Jane, who now finds herself bound in the chair, gagged with a light-colored scarf over her mouth. Ellen smirks and pushes Jane's preposterously large hat down over her eyes as she leaves. Later, Kay is trying to lead Ellen from the bad guys' hideout; still not trusting him, she screams for all she's worth. Next thing you know, her head, arms, and upper body are wrapped in black cloth, tied with white rope. Kay spends the last part of the film carrying her over his shoulder this way (giving her a sharp spanking at one point, which only quiets her for a second). Her struggles and muffled screams are about as energetic as any I've ever seen. Anyone have caps of this scene? I'm desperate, and I don't get TCM. Thanks. |

For any West Coasters out there, my TV Guide says that VEGAS starts at 9:10pm PST and ends at 10:10pm due to an extra long Fear Factor. If you're setting the VCR to tape the whole eppy, you may want to give yourself the extra cushion at the end. Thanks for the heads up everybody! |
