Yes, this movie exists! It is called "Panic on the Air" (aka "Trapped by Wireless") from 1936. The damsel is Florence Rice. I got this scene from Brent Smith a few years ago. It is a very good scene.

A dame knocks out a damsel at the end of Friday's Days of Our Lives episode on NBC.

I think it's the serial killer.

Does anyone have the skinny on DiD possibilities for next week?

The small fraction of time during which the Small Soldiers widescreen improves upon its pan & scan counterpart makes me no small nevermind.

Small wonder? Small mind?

Award winning performances

And for Soap opera actresses, it's too bad that the Emmy Award usually goes to a "Nominate me! Nominate me!" storyline excuse for over-acting (e.g., she or her evil twin goes psycho, or she's diagnosed with a terminal illness), rather than for more "restrained" performances... :-)

Cap/clip sets from The Bank (1915) and The Great Detective "Eye Of Clarkie Blackburn" (1979) in the usual place.

Yes...they definitely knew how to do a GOOD job - even in the old days - nice bunch of clips.

Speaking of renewals,

"ABC has laid Karen Sisco to rest. The network — which was set to relaunch the critically praised-yet-ratings challenged freshman drama in March — has axed the show altogether. According to The Hollywood Reporter, ABC brass were unhappy with the creative direction of the scripts and scrapped plans to give the show a second shot. Threat Matrix, meanwhile, remains on the air. Look for the unaired episodes, at least 3, to air on USA Network. USA is already running repeats on Tuesdays at midnight, episodes that already ran. I'm assuming they'll get the leftovers. Too bad USA doesn't order 13 more episodes. They used to be a great damsel network, but have completely fallen off the map lately.

I'll presume you're referring to the DiD-heavy content of Acapulco H.E.A.T.'s last season (not aired in the USA till it went into syndication), not its production values. Despite the attractiveness of its female series regulars, I very quickly stopped "watching" it because of the ridiculousness of its scripts and only caught its last season at a VCR-Fast forward rate to catch the Denier/Armitage/Sauls scenes.

I seem to recall reading in a recent Q&A interview (perhaps in a Maxim/FHM/Stuff type magazine) Jennifer O'Dell mentioning there might still be a company considering picking up "The Lost World", but I have to believe that's wishful thinking. Within just a few months, the cast members have to get on with their lives, and undoubtedly many either have or are actively angling to land in another TV series or movie projects. It's been well over a year since it stopped production.

Follow the link for a link to a great "Days" Spoiler site. (And many thanks to the person who first brought my attention to it.)

BTW, if anybody knows of any other good soap spoiler sites drop me a line.

"General Hospital" possiblity for Monday
Here is the set up: The characters Carly & Sonny are breaking up. Sonny has the kids but Carly wants them. On Friday's installment, Carly lures Jason away from the house so Courtney (Alicia Leigh Willis) is alone with the kids. Alcazar shows up to take them to Carly. Now the guards are subdued and I don't think Courtney will let Al just walk off with the kids so in my mind the possiblities playout like this:

1.Alcazar has to tie up Courtney while he takes the kids to mommy.
2. He has to render Courtney unconscience.
3. He has to lock her in the closet.
4. Jason gets back in time before Alcazar does anything to Courtney.
or
5. Alcazar renders Courtney unconscience, ties her up, and locks her in a closet, but Jason gets home before Al gets away, Courtney gets free and shoots another man within a weeks time.

Some factors to take into consider ration:
1. General Hospital ties up a woman every month, and Monday will be the first show of February.
2. Alicia Leigh Willis gets tied up every couple of months, and her last scene was in August.
3. I'm horrible at guessing bondage on soaps. (but I have been able to feel the last two GH scenes coming.)

(I think this is my longest post ever.)

My site update
Hello.

My website, Knotbusters, has been updated for Feb. There are new caps of "Ginger: Girls Are For Loving", and the bondage bathtub scene from "Melrose Place".

Also, the results from the "Classic Vidcap" poll are in, and the winner has been placed back up on the site. My thanks to everybody who voted. A new poll for March is now up.

There's also a new chapter of Cynthia 5: The Reckoning, and a new scan of the month.

Enjoy!

Comic Book Bondage
Fans of comic book bondage should check out the latest issue of Robin #122. Great cover. Sadly nothing even remotely like it inside. Just a big tease.

Here's your line, at least for DOOL. The soap airs a day earlier in Canada and the people that run this site are very good at providing detailed synopses of the previous day in a fairly timely manner. So if you check it every day, you should catch pretty much every DiD scene on DOOL.

Y&R spoiler possibility for this coming week
Sharon is first stopped by the police, but deals with that, only to be snatched by a pair of rapists. They kidnap
Sharon and drag her to a warehouse.

Hopefully Ms Sharon Case will FINALLY get her first b&g scene.

Did we ever come to a consensus as to whether or not there was anything of DiD interest in the movie Torque?
