Re: Demonlover... anybody? (Details)

I did not see Demonlover. However, a month or two ago I saw a magazine article about it (with DiD photos) and posted about it here in fair detail.

Unfortunately, a forum search for postings with either "Demonlover" or "Demon lover" doesn't seem to reach back any further than December. Also, I don't have the magazine handy. So, you'll have to make do with my approximate memory of what I posted:

In (October or November or December?), in a film magazine (which MIGHT have been Film Comment), there was an article about Demonlover. It included two small photos of DiDs, presented as scenes from the movie. One was (I am almost positive) of a woman in lingerie or fetishwear, bound to an X-frame with a hood obscuring her head. Another was a bound woman completely covered in black leather/rubber/latex -- hood, catsuit, heels -- and (I am almost positive) sitting on the edge of a bed. I am pretty sure her hands were tied behind her back, but the photo was so small this was unclear.

The text of the article said something about the site showing leather clad women (there was a comparison to Mrs. Peel) and inviting visitors to torture them. The test said the torture was more suggested than shown explicitly, with close-ups of the struggling damsels. However, judging by the pix, bondage WAS explicitly shown. Unfortunately, I don't think the article said anything about a DiD/bondage scene for Connie Nielsen specifically.

If someone is able to search for forum for Demonlover posts prior to December, they might find additional detail in my original post. Although, usually, my memory is pretty good about these things and I am rarely stricken by "scene creep."

Re: Demonlover... anybody? (Details)
Relying on trial and error, my half-arsed memory, and tedious day-by-day manual page searches, I found my original post on Demonlover. I had mentally merged a FILM COMMENT article with a salon.com review, but otherwise my memory was pretty close. It sounded (and still sounds) promising to me (except I still don't know about a scene for Connie N. specifically):

More about DEMONLOVER (Inc. where to see pics)
This French film may be worth watching. It's about two corporations fighting over an online "interactive torture" porn site, the Hellfire Club. Per the reviews I've seen, the critical concensus is that it's visually stylish with a plot that's hard to follow. The critics are undecided on whether that last means it's a bad movie or a great one.

Check this from a positive review at http://www.salon.com:

"When Diane accesses the site herself, she's greeted by movies of models bound and gagged and shackled to electrified bed frames, or encased inside rubber catsuits and submerged in water. Accompanying the images is the invitation: "This is Zora. How would you like to torture her?" Users are invited to submit their fantasies and watch women dressed like Wonder Woman or Emma Peel (in other words, the predominant pop-culture icons of strong women) tortured to their liking. Your pleasure is only a few credit card numbers away. If you're as squeamish about torture scenes as I am, you should know that what Diane sees on Hell Fire Club is not explicit but rather rapidly edited, often in close-ups that blur the specifics of the action, and more suggested than lingered on. The scenes are not pleasant, but they're done with as much discretion as possible."

Gee, anything there to interest fans of this site?

Personally, I'm not normally into explicit scenes of torture, myself. However, I like struggling and emoting of distress, so if the torture is implied through "closeups" that show distress, these scenes might be OK, as long as they're aren't just "blinkies."

You want some interesting pics? The bad news is, you have to leave your computer and go to Borders or some magazine store that sells the mag FILM COMMENT. In the current issue is an article on DEMONLOVER, and there are two smallish (roughly two inches by two inches) stills from the movie showing:

1) A woman completely enazed in a black cat suit, with no skin visible, her head hidden by a hood. She's sitting on a mattress frame, and there is a chain hanging from the ceiling down to vicinity of her neck (collar) or her arms bound behind her back (it's hard to make out the details).

2) A woman in fetish gear, showing a bit more skin (no nudity, though) but also with her head hidden by a hood, bound to an upright wooden X-frame.

Both photos seem to be taken from the perspective of someone looking down on the catpive damsels from above.

I just may buy this DVD when it becomes available in the U.S. -- WK

Well the latest episode had a brief scene with two women with their hands tied in front, no gags. Next week's preview showed about a frame with a women chair tied, including elboes, but no gag visible.

Can anyone identify...
One of the coolest things about this page is the way someone can describe a scene that they remember from years back and almost always have someone tell them which movie it was. I've got one of those, but I've got very little to go on...

It was an 80's movie. The damsel was playing a teenager but I suspect she was actually early 20s. She had long, red hair.

What little I remember about the scene... they are inside a building, I believe at a junkyard. Part of me thinks she's back to back with a younger male, but I'm really not sure. The guy who tied her is someone she knows... I think a school mate. She ends up being rescued by the star... he was also playing a teen but I remember nothing else about him.

That's all I've got! I "remember" a few other things, but I'm afraid they're scene creep and/or juxtaposition with other scenes from that era so I left them out.

Anyone have a clue?

I agree. That's why I made 6 of the 13 points optional ie they can be skipped if so desired.

Of the "compulsory" 7 points, 3 are title, ep title and actress name- they should be filled out anyway if the info is available.

The remaining 4 are those basics that I think should always be included:
-description of restraints
-description of gag, or mention there isn't any
-where the footage is timewise and how long it lasts
-short mention of quality like is it a dark scene, any closeups etc.

So I think the guide can be used to make a quick brief entry, including nessessary basics only, as well as a longer detailed description if one wants that.

Of course if noone would read it anyway............

rhonda "tied-up" all night
Rhonda Shear had put some of her bumper spots from USA's Up All Night on DVD. In one that aired on Friday the 13th of 93 she was tied up by neighbors for the entire show. No gag, but it was good to finally see her tied up.
Was she ever tied up in other shows? There is one episode described as "Rhonda babysits in her appartment" and one that says, "Rhonda as a cowgirl" but no picture or further description is given. Although both these situations could have bondage taking place its not a guarentee, as we all know. Has anyone seen these episodes? If so then please let me know if they contain bondage before I blow 35 bucks.
Thanks

Elisha will have a hands-tied-behind scene wearing a white bikini and a better hairdo with a cleave-gag subsequently applied.

Thanks that would be great, but don't go out of your way to do it. I'm hooked on the soap anyway. The storylines az I can make out (or make up) are pretty amusing.

This morning, Vivanne, in her brunette persona, had her hands tied in front then later she was bound with one loop to a tree. (I don't know if this was the scene you were thinking of.)

Off hand, do you know if there is ever a gag scene for Mariana Ximenes or any kind of ropes for her busty, bleach-blond friend? (Her friends seem to hand gag her a lot, but never go any further.)

nothing on Las Vegas
just a tease tonight. with the power out in the casino, Molly Sims goes off alone to a side room where we are led to believe a killer lurks. she is surprised, screams, and... (hope she's tied up!) Then the black babe (forget her name) goes to find Molly, sneaks around, sees something that makes her scream... (hope she's also tied up!) Next vanessa Marcil goes looking for the two missing women. She has a gun. Goes to the side room, sees something and fires... (oh my, gonna get all 3 tied and gagged?!) Next time we see the women, they are not DiDs at all. Just dealing with a guy afraid of UFOs, not the killer.
