Jackpot on most of the above. After the handgag, he sits her in the chair and tapes her feet very tight on screen. Her hands are securely tied to the sides of the chair but not shown until later. He then gags her onscreen, perfectly placing the tape on the mouth. She's wearing a business outfit with a dark jacket over a low-cut white shirt. She starts "mmmpppffing" and doesn't stop until the end of the scene. At one point, a fellow worker calls Kim's number and she attempts to get to the phone. Furious mmmppffing as she gets the receiver off the phone with her hand but the line is dead at that point. Later, she's rescued. In the first scene, Kim's tape-gag starts to wrinkle and slip as she struggles. By the time the next scene starts, it's been perfectly repositioned over the mouth.

Great job, finally, by a bad guy. Despite the soundproof room, he still gags her to halt her questions and comments. Nice job all around on this one.

It's not the page, it's the moderation. Without that, you'll quickly have another Anything Goes. And since Brian's not interested in that sort of general discussion, he's certainly not going to do the work of moderating it or hosting it.

I think the place you're most likely looking for is Lorelei's discussion page. It's at http://www.bedroombondage.com/bondage/guestbook/
Hopefully this'll be close to what you're looking for.

Fortunately for the impatient (me), I have a connection and was able to see the clip last night. This came in handy because my cable was out ALL day and I couldn't even tape the show myself.

I know there are some who will say "Oh great, another silver duct tape scene". To some extent, I agree. I wish we could get some variety once in awhile. I actually much prefer white, then black. Then there is the issue of Elisha's hair this season, which someone brought up earlier. I wholeheartedly agree on that point. I don't think she looks nearly as cute this season, compared to last. What the hell is with the makeup artists on that show anyway?

As for the positives, it is still Elisha and even an Elisha with a bad haircut is still a cutie. The vocal protests are, in my opinion, the highlight of this episode. We are treated to some VERY nice mmphing, as well as some good struggling by Elisha to reach a ringing phone.

Thank you for the opportunity to speak, as always. Love this site and even though I am not as visible a participant as I once was, rest assured I am lurking in the shadows. Thanks for the alert(s) boys. Much appreciated!!

So much, in fact, that while enjoying it I couldn't help thinking they really knew what they were doing this time, i.e. that it was a treat they created especially for us.

This was discussed at length a year or two ago. Brian did not want to moderate, feeling one page is enough. He considered sub-moderators to handle the page, but didn't implement. Being a sub-moderator would require a strong commitment from one or more readers of this page, and given that he can't even get visitors to this page to do even the relatively paltry labor involved in writing a review for his ezine, I can't blame Brian for being more than a wee bit cynical about the prospects of getting good moderators to help.

Good story indeed (especially the long DiDscene of the prologue) As for the "authoress Nicci French", let me say it's a syndicate consisting of Nicci Gerrard and Sean French.

Must be 35-40 years since I last caught it.

I pretty much agree with you on this one. She did some of the best "gag noises" I've heard on a mainstream TV scene. I posted a quick clip if anyone is interested. I also have the first part of the GENERAL HOSPITAL scene and I'll re-edit it to be the whole sequence later in the week,

What you can do is simply have the discussion at the 'Favorite Scenes' page which gets an entry about every 6 months or so.

"The Handler" also has a decent premise on Friday. Two agents, one guy and one female (Anna Belknap?) get abducted and are held hostage in the woods. One clip appeared to show the female holding her hands in front, possibly tied.

With "10-8" and "24" busting up a dry spell in primetime the last week, hopefully other shows will follow suit.

I usually do my updates on Friday, but why sit on something for the sake of an arbitrary schedule? :-) Chapter 4 of "Chattel Mountain Lodge: Personnel Problem" is posted.

Also... cinescape.com reports that KATIE HOLMES is on the short list to play Bruce Wayne's love interest in the next BATMAN movie. (They're going back to the beginning, so her age is appropriate.) Dare we hope?

What Type of Gag to Use?
When watching DiD scenes, I have always wondered why certain types of gags were used in a particular scene or on a particular actress. Why do some get cleave-gagged while others get tape-gagged? Also, does a particular gag look better on an actress (cleave, tape, OTM)?

It is my view that actresses with high cheek bones (i.e. Sandra Bullock) look best sporting a tight cleave-gag while actresses with full lips (i.e. Renee Zellweger) would look great with a tape-gag. Of course, some look great gagged in any manner. How does everyone else feel about this and what gags would be the most appropriate on your favorite DiD actress/celebrity? Just curious.

Your theory is a good one - for example check out the lady on Major John's - high cheek bones and probably the tightest cleave I've seen in a long time - fantastic
As for other actresses - my favorite has to be Honor Blackman in the Avengers, although a serious lack of 'MMPHING'

In the first season, she looked way better in her second B&G scene than in her first one.

I recall when watching Deadly Lessons that Ally Sheedy looked great for her B&G scene. In previous scenes, her hair and clothing combinations made her look plain.

I would guess just 3 gags, the original by the bad guy, a 2nd for the telephone scene and a 3rd for the rescue scene. Maybe even just 2, if they filmed the rescue scene right after she wheels herself to the desk. I'm guessing the scene where the gag is slipping and wrinkled near the nose after the first scene is from the first taping by the bad guy, just a long scene where Elisha loosens the tape herself. I don't think the prop guys would do that sloppy a job on an initial taping (then again, if I was tape-gaging Elisha Cuthbert, my hands would be shaking, too).

Last night's episode was brand new in the third season. Season 3 likely won't turn up on DVD until August or September 2004 to coincide with the debut of season 4 (if there is one) on FOX.

One smooth, level, overlapping onto the nose.
One sloping, creased horizontally at top.
Two a millimetre or two below the nose, with different and distinct wrinkle patterns.
There may even be a fifth, like the previous two but very smooth.

I think we're seeing different takes as well as different scenes. I'd really hate that job. :-)))

When I was younger.. a lot younger.. long before I started writing and filming my own damsel in distress films, I collected television scripts. Mostly to learn how to write them myself (to anyone who has never seen an actual script, there is a very definite format that is required. Its a bitch to get anything you write read under the best of circumstances. Use the wrong format and its impossible).

As you might imagine, I really tried to find scripts to buy and read that contained bondage scenes that I had seen on tv. And I found quite a few. And to any of you who are interested, there are a lot of companies that sell used scripts, so you can ask for episodes you are looking for by name. And the one thing that really surprised me is, as usual, the writer in Hollywood gets no respect. He describes a scene, and then the director does whatever the hell he wants in it. If that happens to be the same thing the writer wrote, great.. but to take a couple of pretty decent scenes that are pretty well known here, especially among the older viewers...

The Incredible Hulk tv series: "The Waterfront Story". The writer of the script specifically states that the character is gagged with a cloth tied in her mouth.. a cleave gag. Sheila Larken, the actress, gets gagged with black tape.

In the very well known Starsky and Hutch episode.. "The Psychic" is the title if memory serves.. Dianne Kay in the script is to be gagged with tape. In the finished episode she is gagged with cloth.. cleave to triangular detective.. it varies. But it sure as hell is not tape.

My perception. Writer, write what you may. The director will do what he wants, including telling a prop person.. "Find something to gag her with."

And if you happen to be a bondage loving writer, you wonder what the hell happened to my scene??

To be continued!

Part two.. as someone who has gagged and awful lot of girls in his life, I can unequivacably say, while some girls look great in any gag you put on them, many girls look hugely better in one kind of gag and less beautiful or sexy in another. And so that of course includes your favorite tv and movie actresses.

Just like all of you, I have my favorite gags, and yet many times I've been filming, put one of my lesser faves on the girl, and didn't immediately notice any difference. But when I looked thru the viewfinder of the camera, which is basically a mini tv screen.. Oh my God!! She was just transformed! A cute girl suddenly looked gorgeous!

And likewise, I have put my fave gags on gorgeous girls, looked thru that same viewfinder, and gone.. ehhhh.. It just did not do it for me.

Personally I'm not sure if its face shape, hair or what it is. But I've often found that.. and yes, I'm prejudiced about it because I love a gagged girl.. a gag can take a pretty girl and suddenly make her gorgeous! Some girls, and it may be their look, or it may be what that gag and ropes does to them personally inside, are simply transformed by a gag. And again, I feel it is no different with a Hollywood actress. They are all human and all female.

Have you ever had a fave actress finally have a gag scene and you end up disappointed?? After all that hoping and waiting it just didn't have the impact you expected?? Or another less beautiful girl has one, and you are just going "Ohhh Wow!!"!! The scene totally blows you away? I expect that is the reason.

My opinions.. your mileage may vary..
