The spoiler for Thursday's episode says "Flynn takes Blair captive." Sounds good, let's hope for something better that what we usually get.

Wednesday November 05 10:09:52 2003 Alone in the Dark? |
I'm not a big video game fan, so I know nothing about the "Alone in the Dark" premise; however, a film is coming out next year & TARA REID plays "Aline Cedrac." I haven't finished searching for info yet, but so far everything's pretty vague: "action," "horror," no details. Any DiD potential here? (Nothing's hotter than a hottie in "librarian drag!") ;-) |

Anyone heard of this movie before? It was released last year and it has something to do with an investigator trying to crack a drug ring, but the main character's girlfriend is none other than REBECCA BUDIG (Greenlee from All My Children). Sounds like a decent plot to me -- investigator gets in too deep, drug cartel doesn't like it and kidnaps the girlfriend. (On another note, it looks like a lot of the stars from AMC are in that movie...kind of weird).
Anyway, let us all know if you've seen it. |

Wednesday November 05 12:36:41 2003 Alyssa Milano |
How you all are? Greetings and Salutations. Again, I was purusing the World Wide Web, trying ton find a suitable poster to place on the side of my Hot Dog Vending Cart, but, alas, did not find one. Much to my delight and amusement, and hopefully all you kind gentle people's as well, I did happen to come across this poster. It appears the lovely actress who portrayed the Oscar-worthy Tony Danza's daughter in that most excellent televison series named WHO'S THE BOSS, and who later appears and is still appearing weekly in the series called CHARMED (although the name of her very fine charector escapes me at the moment), whom we all know as Alyssa Milano appears to be hogtied in this poster which is available for purchace for a sum considerably less than one day's wages. I thought I would quickly share this fine gem of a picture with all of you. I hope you all enjoy it. It is a curiosity that the location of this fine piece of photography contains /mmph/ in the discription. As I believe, mmph is being often used as the sound a darling damsel makes under her gagged mouth. Untill I find something worthy of noting here, I remain,

But with her track record of avoiding gags, I wouldn't expect anything. |

The game is of the "survival horror" variety - that is, survive in a place crawling with monsters and stuff that wants to kill you. According to a walkthrough for the 2nd game in the currently 4-game series, someone does get tied up near the end... http://www.gameboomers.com/wtcheats/pcAa/alonedk2.htm Look at the end for the brief mention. Anyway, I have my heavy doubts. Games themselves contain very little DiD despite the frequent "rescue people" backstories they often contain, and I imagine adaptations of them can't lead to much either in most cases. |

Nothing on Wednesday regarding the missing PI, but another new hottie is on case looking for her. Blair was shown on Thursday's preview confronting the double who's going to grab her. In a casting note from this show, the new Kelly Kramer has already been fired after 2 months and will be replaced by Heather Tom, who had a couple full-treatment scenes on the "Young and the Restless." I don't think either one is any match for the original, Gina Tognoni, who wasn't asked back for whatever reason and was last seen harassing a chair-tied Tiffany Thiessen in the finale of "Fastlane." Tom gives them a star name, I guess. |

That picture is a still from the 1995 movie "Deadly Sins", which stars Alyssa Milano. It is not a manipulation. This scene always bugged me as she is being held captive in a hidden room - without a gag! She does struggle pretty well though. |

The bad guy knocks her out in the underground area while waiting for the good guy to show up. When he does, he finds Alyssa tied up and refuses to untie her because he doesn't want her in danger for the finale. I thought as that was developing the good guy was going to gag her there to keep her quiet. Instead she kinda whispers "you SOB," or something like that as he walks away. That movie was back when Alyssa was controlling her projects and a couple years before she hit rock bottom in the industry and was rescused by Aaron Spelling, who gave her a charity role on "Melrose Place" before casting her in "Charmed" the next year, where she was promptly bound and gagged 13 episodes into the first season when she couldn't control the scripts (thank goodness). Once she got her star power back, and got Shannen Doherty booted off the show after Season 3, the possibility of gags went with it. |

Could we *please* keep the ad hominim rhetoric & facts-not-in-evidence to a minimum? (I think Mr. Moderator's starting to frown.) :-) ...& just to flesh things out so the script will let me post the above... Has anyone heard *anything* new about "World of Tomorrow?" No official web site, no leaked photos, *nothin'*! They must have hired one of those "publicity" experts who think the public is the enemy. |

Wednesday November 05 20:00:45 2003 Swordsman III |
Today's episode of Swordsman III on the International Channel featured a long sequence in which two pretty young Chinese women are captured in the woods by an equally pretty young Chinese woman and her henchmen. The two woman are tied back-to-back sitting on the ground in a cave. Their pretty captor gloats over them and menaces them.
The sequence closed out today's episode. Something caused their captor to leave at the end and the two ladies started to struggle to get free. Most likely the sequence will pick up again tomorrow. Swordsman III - International Channel - 1 PM M-F Also, the previews for tomorrow's "As the World Turns" show Alison (Jessica Dunphy) silencing Katie (Teri Colombino aka Teri Conn) with her hand because Katie blurts that out that Alison slept with somebody or other. As The World Turns - CBS - 2 PM. |

Wednesday November 05 20:35:30 2003 Help remembering a scene |
There's a scene I remember watching on TV when I was young, so it must have been around '87 to '90 at the latest. Two crooks broke into a home and started taping up two women, hands, feet and mouth. It was a really good scene. There were other innocent people looking on from a couch or something. I'm not sure, I think the crooks had some kind of weapon that wasn't a gun, maybe it was a gun, I'm thinking it might have been a taser though or something science fictiony.
It was one of those first class scenes, close ups of both women's hands, feet and mouths getting taped. The scene probably took place at night. Can anybody help? I'm also believing the crooks might have worn ski masks as well. |

Wednesday November 05 20:55:50 2003 Matrix Revolutions |
It doesn't appear anybody has mentioned this yet, so I figured I would. In the newest Matrix chapter (Revolutions), Carrie Ann Moss has her bounds behind her back briefly with what appears to be cords of some sort. There is no gag, and her feet aren't bound. There are also very few shots of her bound wrists, but there is one nice shot of her squirming across the floor, with her hands clearly bound behind her. The scene doesn't last long, as she frees herself with some broken glass on the floor (my, how convienient that broken glass always seems to be!), but at least it's something. The majority of the time she is seen bound, you just see her being held by the baddie, and her arms behind her. Just thought I'd let you all know, since I'm sure we had all given up on Matrix providing us anything. |

This kind of nonsense if off-topic. Anything further and I will move all related posts, regardless of other, on- topic material in the posts. Is that clear? |
