Anna Kournikova to become an actress?
This may be good news to us, for obvious reasons. :-)

"I'd love to appear in something like Sex and the City or Friends," she told the newspaper...She has been bothered by back injuries and had withdrawn from several tournaments..."I do not want to go on playing unless I can participate 100% as I don't like pulling out of tournaments."

alert for VHI special, Centerfold Babylon
Speaking of Playboy models in ballgags, I just happened to catch a VHI special called "Centerfold Babylon" (started 11 p.m. EST on VH1) that featured images of Penthouse model Aria Giovanni wearing a ballgag.

The imagery occurs in the intro to the special, so be quick with that record button. It also appears in an interview of Giovanni about 15 minutes into the hour-long special. In fact there's a shot of Giovanni in front of a blowup of her gagged face talking about mistakes she's made. Mm-hmm.

the show re-airs tomorrow at 9 pm and on the 19th at 1 am.

first ring gag on TV?
Looking at the Alerts, Kinky-napper beat me to the punch. He also confirms what I thought I saw, which was Giovanni wearing a ring gag. that would make it the first ring gag scene on mainstream TV (or movies, for that matter) that I know of. but given that it's an image of a still photo in an edutainment documentary on the skin mag trade, I imagine that it would prolly need an asterisk. Or something. Still, it would be the absolute first mainstream image I know of.

Any comments?

I always love it when Brian talks about himself in the 3rd person.

You keep using that phrase. I do not think it means what you think it means.

Distretto Di Polizia "Sotto Sequestro"
Folks, do you realize that this makes tape number 50 that Jay L. has delivered unto me, that I might share the bounty? Now that's generosity, especially since he's not just sending 'em to me. (Yo Jay, you do realize that I'd be happy to send these all back to you at some point if you want to reuse them, right? Just say the word...)

I suppose it's appropriate that this scene is a much-anticipated corker. Clips and 30 caps in the usual location.

What else could it mean? Brian refers to each of his other personae as "he". That's the third person singular, mate!

As a fellow recipient of Jay L's bounty, I would like to echo Raffish's sentiments - good show!

...AND...this one HAS to be one of the CUTEST DiD's ever to get the treatment.....hall of fame material.

That may be, but where in the quoted passage does he do so? I don't mean to be pedantic, but if one is going to resort to ridiculing someone's language, wouldn't he be better off taking the time to locate an example which is actually relevant?

Of course, Brian has made it perfectly clear why he uses multiple personae. Unless I miss my guess, "None" doesn't have an actual argument as to why this was a bad decision, so he resorts to silly snipes about syntax. For this, he clearly deserves to be mocked, and I'm just the Spaniard to do it.

Just saw the blurb. Doesn't sound promising by that.
There is hope. The rapist could come after her again, especially to get Ed off his back. It's happened in past series, such as the Walker ep with the club rape which ends with mother & daughter B&G.
Anyway, I'll just take a wait & see attitude.

Nowhere. The subject (refering to The Mod) is somewhat
third person, but it actually refers to the previous
posts signed "The Moderator".

I'd say so. I do enough weird stuff that it seems
pointless to make up reasons to criticize me.

Probably best we wrap this up. I think further discussions
of grammar would best be conducted over on AG.

Melrose Place
Okay, cam somebody tell me WHEN the Big Bang pt. 2 episode of Melrose will air on E!? I've recorded the show the past 2 days & both times I got the same episode, which was not the one w/ Laura Leighton tied up. I believe on Tuesday I recorded the one at 10am & today the one at 8am, thinking that Tuesday's 10am episode (pt.1 of Big Bang) would continue today at 8am with part 2. The show seems to come on at 8 and 10 am (we're in Central time here). Would I be correct in assuming I picked the wrong episode to set the timer for, and the 10am one today was the one we wanted? So does that mean Part 2 will air tomorrow at 8? or 10?? Central time please. many thanks all!

I can confirm that the payoff episode aired at least once today, and perhaps twice. While it's a bit hard to tell from my listings, you *may* still be in luck if you record tomorrow at 8AM CST (aka 9AM PST/EST). Good luck...

You Wish "Halloween"
I love it. Literally one day after I clip a Harley Jane Kozak scene from an entirely unrelated soap, Jay L. dumps this minor treasure into my mailbox.

(Mmm, coaxial cable. Perhaps not the sexiest of bondage implements per se, but you wouldn't know it from this scene.)

Re: Melrose Place

The Friday for Thursday:

Part 2 (the only episode with the sequence ... it's possible there may a bit in a reprise at the beginning of the next ep, showing at 11AM tomorrow and 9Am Friday) will repeat tomorrow at 9AM E/P.

It aired today at 11AM. Ms. Leighton gets conked by Ms. Cross around the forty minute mark ... then is shown bound and gagged right after the ad break about six minutes later. It's all over by around 54' in.

Jecqueline Collen-Tarrolly... Maeve gets artistic!
Remember Jacqueline Collen? ..."Maeve" on the first season of the now defunct Sinbad series? Here's her DiD-ography (all of which are on the small screen):

"The Adventures of Sinbad" ("The Ties That Bind")
"The Adventures of Sinbad" ("The Rescue")
"The Adventures of Sinbad" ("The Siren's Song")
"Hercules, The Legendary Journeys" ("As Darkness Falls")
"Conan" ("Amazon Women")
"High Tide" ("Curse of the High Tide")

ANYhoo... Jacqueline's star burned briefly but bright, & now she's out of the Damsel business.

She's now a Fantasy artist, under the name "Jacqueline Collen-Tarrolly." Her favorite subjects are faeries, mermaids, & horses. :-) She also has a line of toiletries! Here are relevant URLs:

If you loved Jacqueline as a DiD (& who DiDn't?) think of her when you start your holiday shopping! :-)

Lana was abducted at around the 40' mark by a 'freak' hater who wanted to kill Clark. Her wrists were bound behind her, but that's it. Only very brief looks at her bound wrists. Didn't even show her getting untied. No gag.

I doubt Lana will ever be gagged. Her abductor, who was wanted by the police, caught her calling the police on him shortly after she had knocked him down a flight of steps. His plans included putting her in his trunk and driving her across town from her club to the high school. There they laid in wait for Clark. Since he was wanted, it only makes sense to gag Lana while transporting her. And to be sure he had the advantage on Clark, Lana needed to be gagged so that she couldn't give him an early warning. If they can't gag her in an episode like this, they never will.

Angel
Angel comes through tonight with the damsel chained AOH and hosed down, then stripped and bathed (network TV version of course) by Nurse Ratchet's cousin. Cut to Angel and gang working the case for a while, then back to the DiD. A little before 9:45, she is manacled to a dinner table and loosely cleave-gagged (though it is knotted) for a few scenes before a commercial break. She will probably be shown again after the commercial ends, but shortly after she will likely transform into a werewolf.

Do realise that, thanx.

Five years back appeared most of the fellas wanted a VHS copy of the scenes. Just noticed when you brought this up they haven't been posting in awhile, but imagine still lurking.
So if you get ahold of my tapes, feel free to use it for trading.

Angel
Nice scene on Angel tonite...the werewolf girl manacled to the dinner table & cleave gagged. But talk about a loosie! The writers go the little extra & have the gag knotted in the middle, but then have it so loose that if she didn't bite down on the knot it would have fallen right out of her mouth. Oh well, it's better than no gag at all I say. Did anyone get the actress's name playing the DiD?? I missed the first 10 minutes of the show & the opening credits.

Jenny Mollen. I mentioned it in a message last week derived from spoiler pages that mentioned this scene. Also, I've already put this one in the database.
