SMALL SOLDIERS

Unfortunately, TBS' airings of the movie also lack the head-gesturing scene mentioned in the DB entry.

Sounds about right, I was thinking there was more to it but it's probably the scene I'm thinking of. How any scenes can there have been on the Travel Channel?

NYPD Blue
Real longshot here, but on NBC's Breeders' Cup show on Saturday, Kim Delaney was interviewed and asked what's coming up. She said a serial killer storyline will involve her character. Tonight during "Alias", ABC promoed Kim in a bar with the voiceover "To catch a killer....you need the right bait....Kim Delaney returns to NYPD Blue this Tuesday." Worth keeping an eye on despite real bad track record on this show.

Dammit, "Kommissar" Rex...
Bad dog! How many times do we have to tell you: when the damsel is tied, she STAYS TIED.

Another scene from Jay L. Not one for the gag fans (apart from a few interesting photos), but not bad at all when it comes to closeups of the bondage itself.

Bondage? Nuh-uh.

Good film though.

So apparently, our hopes for a bangup scene w/ Meg Ryan did not occur.

Most Bound; Most B&G Roles for an Attractive Actress?
I wonder what roles have created the most occurances of bondage (non-gag) and bondage (with gag) for a role that specifically calls for the casting of an *attractive* actress?

Considering the universality of Shakespeare (his works are performed around the world, in numerous languages, by every high school, college, and amateur drama club), the role of "Bianca" with her hands tied behind her back in the opening scene of "Taming of the Shrew" would seem to be a leading candidate. And a Shakespearean play might have a run of several weeks of performances.

A candidate for most bound-and-gagged damsel might be "Beryl Stapleton" in "The Hound of the Baskervilles". Like Shakespeare, Sherlock Holmes has devoted fans around the world, and "Hound" is generally considered to be Arthur Conan Doyle's best work. Seemingly every movie company and TV station has taken a crack at a "Hound" re-make, and I imagine it's been adapted to a play production quite often as well.

Heart of Stone
I just watched this movie on DVD. It stars Angie Everhart, and features three damsels in distress. They are all victims of a deranged serial killer. Two are restrained by handcuffs to a chair, and one is tied spreadeagled to a bed. Only the lady tied to the bed is gagged; the villain cleave-gags her with a black cloth, after which she meets a grisly demise.
Angie Everhart isn't physically restrained at all in this movie, despite her being in situations in which bondage would've been appropriate.

Bizet's opera "Carmen" could be mentioned too. It's popular (for an opera), and Carmen sings an aria with her hands tied behind her back.

Re: Most Bound; Most B&G Roles for an Attractive Actress?
The role of Alice Faulkner in the play 'Sherlock Holmes' by William Gillette. She has a nice scene where the villains B&G her and lock her in a closet when Sherlock Holmes arrives.

Gillette wrote this play in the late 1890's and performed the title role himself several thousand times (with his wife portraying Alice most of the time).

I saw the play recently and the actress playing Alice was very cute.

This week's People magazine has a pic on page 22 of Britney Spears being blindfolded by one of her dancers.

I can see her in full bondage pretty soon the way she's going.

Speaking of Angie, has anyone had any luck tracking down "The Real Deal" where Angie is supposed to be tape-gagged? This is one of the most frustrating searches ever. Nothing even on Amazon or any of the DVD web sites that sell everything. It's a listed movie from 2002 that, like her other movies, she co-produced. Every one of her lousy movies turns up at Blockbuster, except for this one.

This wasn't the one with the elaborate ropework for mainstream, that Une mort pour une vie.

Both left around same time, so Une mort due to arrive there anytime.

As for gag fans,
if this pace keeps up, The Klutz and the Italian one of interest should be arriving soon as well.

I do not know. In both the 2 versions of the opera (one "live" and one on TV) I saw the Carmen character was tied hands behind after being arrested by the police officer. (In the middle of the opera timewise)
She sang her aria, and he fell in love with her. And untied her.

I do not know about other directors or versions. Should you buy opera tickets and there's no bondage please don't kill me. Enjoy the music instead. Bondage or not, it is Bizet.

Frustrating OLTL
Natalie worked her tied wrists free of the ropes on Monday and was captured trying to escape. The lead goon placed more phone calls with her tied up in the background and still not gagged. Here's the twist, after getting captured, the goon retied her hands, with what looked like white tape. The good guys were preparing to bust in at the end of the episode, so this one looks hopeless. We wait years to get the white tape back, and they don't even gag her with it.

Worse, instead of tying her more stringently, he ties them in front this time. I guess to reward her for escaping. Whatever.

Re actresses playing the Stapleton lass in " The Hound of the Baskervilles "...
I've only seen one version with her character bound decently. It was an 1980s English TV effort with her bound hand and foot with a thick cleave gag.

All the rest either had pissweak rope/ gag work or as in the last version, she was hanged until dead by her evil brother !

What were they thinking !?

Depends on whether these films involve bondage or not.
If not, then this is not the correct forum.

Molly the Model
This was an interactive comic strip, which has apparently ceased now. Back in January of 2002, they had a storyline that resulted in the lovely heroine bound and gagged by a demented admirer.

http://brianspage.com/ezine/issue-2.1/features/molly.shtml

Checking their archives, they decided to reuse some old material, passing it off as new. Guess what they picked!

See link below, start at around 7-22.

Speaking of Britney Spears...she appears on the cover
of ESQUIRE magazine this month and is nude from the
waist down in a great side shot. She does have a great
profile (legs and bottom that are so long and bottom
so round, that is.) She is a darling girl even if the
local talk show guy says she can't sing and should just
go for the adult porno business as she seems so right
for the job.

Re: Fear Factor
West Coast Alert: On Fear Factor tonight (8 pm EST on IIRC NBC) the first stunt involves having the contestants handcuffs and shackled and put in a clear lucite box filled with water -- and snakes. They have to find the keys to the cuffs and shackles in the water (and snakes) and free themselves and get out of the box faster than their opponents. Its the first stunt of the show and the gals go first, so have those VCRs ready if you're interested. No gags.

I've had the same (bad) luck trying to find this movie...along with "Vector Files" (with Catherine Oxenberg), "Killer Workout", "Death Blow", and "Deadly Ransom". I'm beginning to think these 4 movies don't even exist! (well, I know they do, but man, they're damn hard to locate!!!)

Darn, I totally forgot about the new Hound of the Baskervilles airing last night (or was it Saturday night??). Does this mean the was hanged after being untied maybe, or was there no rope & gag for this latest Stapleton lass?

Beverly Sills mentions it in her autobiography, including her improv of lifting her skirt with her teeth as part of the seduction. And let's not forget Katarina Witt's iceskating version...although I suspect her hands were bound in front.

A possibility for runner-up in this category could be The Man of La Mancha. Aldonza's hands were bound during the rape scene in the version I saw.

Movie Fan posted caps of this to Usenet, ABPEB, just over the weekend. If you're not a gag purist, the scenes look great. The spreadeagled damsel is only in her underwear. The other damsels have short skirts and it looks like one has her top cut off. I've gotta to try to find this video soon.
