Monday October 13 01:51:39 2003 Old Hillside Strangler, F.B.Eye |
Old "Hillside Strangler" (1989) movie (from DB):
There is a scene with the first victim. IIRC there are other scenes (spreadeagled, gagged). Anyone remember this movie? Is Kelli Williams BG on this movie? F.B.Eye: any DID scene on this TV Series? |
Monday October 13 01:59:35 2003 Anne Jeffreys |
Her career and 5 DID scenes span from 1945 to 1990s:
1. Step by Step, Dick Tracy (1945-1946) 2. Men from U.N.C.L.E. (1964) 3. Baywatch (1990s) Any other DID scenes? |

The female cop has some nice facial expressions when she realizes she's been had, including the nice shaking of the head as the scene shifts to her being tied up. Knees duct-taped to a post, hands cuffed, some more chit-chat before the sloppy gag placement. Very attractive actress, but would trade for Nancy McKeon in a second. Natashia Williams got a tie-up on "She Spies," a back-to-back with a female guest star. No gag and the "She Spies" rescued her at the end. The guest star was also shown tied to a chair in the first 15 minutes but she wasn't gagged there either. Preview for next week has Natashia working undercover to bust an ex-boyfriend. Just waiting for her to get gagged at some point. |

Not surprisingly, I have it on tape. The victim described isn't the first victim, she was the 2nd victim in the film. Shes handgagged, cuffed, and gagged with a hanky stuffed in her mouth. The DB entry needs to be updated. The first victim is abducted from her apartment via a police ruse right after the opening credits, but no bondage shown. There are no spreadeagle or other gagged scenes in the movie other than the one described in the DB entry. |

Did anyone make any caps of this scene? Reading your guys' reactions has made me curious as to just how bad this gag really was. Besides tape gags are my favorite and even a lousy tape gag is better then no gag. And a loose tape gag that looks like it'll fall off if a damsel sneezes can sometimes still look good if the damsel is attractive enough and has some really good facial expressions. |
Monday October 13 07:11:19 2003 Cellular |
A slacker surfer punk (Chris Evans) who minds his own business on the Santa Monica Pier gets a random phone call on his cell from a woman (Kim Basinger) who has been kidnapped by bad guys. Unsure of her whereabouts, with little clues, a dying cell phone battery, and bad reception, the hero must go out, find her, and rescue her before the cell phone battery dies.
Could be something in this movie- it will be released sometime in 2004. Without restraints why not just dial 911? |

Monday October 13 07:53:23 2003 Tarzan |
Any news on the potential of Tarzan?
After reading about the lovely star of the show (who majored in Female studies in college) my feeling is that there will be low probability of a scene. I can picture her arguing with the director: "you're not tying me up!!!" "I should be tying up the bad guys!!!" |

I off handedly asked him, "Knee High PI? Heh, I bet it's got someone getting kidnapped right?" He said there was none of that. The plot was actually about a blond widow trying to get her stolen lawn jockey back because her dead husband wants it buried with him. Whoever said she that they read that said she spent 75% of the film bound and gagged...I doubt it now. The movie is 1 1/2 hours long with commericials. Not long for a TV movie. |

I did catch Candice surviving from the killer's drowning attempt -- She emerged wet and IMO, looking great with her longer hairstyle (better than her last season on "Murphy Brown"). If someone did watch the entire movie, it can be added to the Scene Database. |

Monday October 13 08:57:02 2003 Best Scenes Since 2000 |
(unsigned poster) wrote:
> What scenes would you consider to be the best since the year 2000? ------ If one can extend the period in question back to 1999, it's notable how three well-received theatrical releases portrayed consensual bondage: Romance (1999) Birthday Girl (2001) Secretary (2002) Instead of the usual depiction of a bondage-lovin' guy as at best a perv and at worst a homicidal threat, the lead female not only consented to erotic bondage, but it turned out he was the man she chose to be with rather than the other available candidates. |

Monday October 13 19:01:09 2003 More mystery damsels |
So, despite the poor image quality, can anyone identify these two? Supposedly, this scene is from the B&W days of As The World Turns (which would be 1956-1967), though it doesn't seem to be in the database. It's a fantasy sequence -- or at least I'm assuming it is, since it ends with both damsels being executed with automatic weapons, which seems a bit extreme for the soaps (then or now). |

Monday October 13 19:19:21 2003 Re: More mystery damsels |
D'oh! Never mind. Turns out that the "As The World Turns" reference was to a different scene on the same tape, so I headed back to the DB and eventually figured out that this was actually one of two fantasy sequences from "The Young And The Restless" featuring Lauralee Bell and Tricia Cast. |

If it's from a videotape, when was it made? Is it an actual photograph of the TV screen? I never did that, but I can imagine some people resorting to that. I mean, 1960s, no way to record TV, you would assume you'd never catch that particular scene again, so what can you do but try a photo of the screen? Just wondering. |

Tom wrote:

According to the coming attractions for next week, there will be a kidnapping.
The promo refers to a daughter's kidnapping and a father's anguish. A shot of James Caan is shown, so presumably the kidnappee will be Molly Sims. I've posted this as an alert for next Monday (Oct. 20) |

With the exception of some subtle line changes and the elimination of some non-essential characters, "Kill Bill, Part 1" matches what's in the script. Some of the lines from the movie come word-for-word right out of this script. The movie ends right before Chapter Five in the script. The part with The Bride bound and gagged, if it didn't get cut, would be in Part 2 (Feb 2004). |
