Unfortunately, it's also true that even the fact that there are bound women in the poster, it doesn't mean there are bound women in the movie. |

A great scene from a British or Aussie movie a while back (maybe 10-15 or more years) couldn't find it in the data base. Played on US cable station (or possibly PBS) definitely not major network. Busty English (or Aussie) blonde meets bad guy in gas station mini mart that rents videos. He holds her hostage and they fall in love (gas station blows up in the end). Played like a play, not a serious film but good production values, appeared to be made for TV. She was tied hands behind, tight sweater, black cloth gag; good long scenes. Anyone remember this or have didcaps? I know the title is correct. Thanks. |

I was checking out the other titles on the left side of the page. There seems to a lot of movies listed that have potential. Check some of the descriptions out and you'll see what I mean.

It's hard to say what I am about to say without it sounding like a complaint about this forum, but thats not my intention. While I am very grateful that I stumbled on this site about 4 years ago and have enormous respect for the dedication of a handful of people who put themselves out to a large extent so that people like me can enjoy some great scenes and news, the casuality is the great feeling of anticipation and dare I say - excitement at wondering if a scene is just around the corner when I'm watching a movie or TV show. In almost every case, because of the dats base and people contributing here, I know what to expect - or what not to expect. That excitement and anticipation that I had as a kid is gone and I miss is sometimes. The obvious answer is to stop visiting this site, but that would be a cure at too great a cost. Does anyone else have this problem or am I "one out"?? |

Does anyone else have this problem or am I "one out"?? You're not the only one. Since I record most of the shows I'm chasing scenes on, I often watch the shows before checking this board, especially on Sundays with "Alias", "She Spies" and any movies that are on. I like seeing the buildup to a scene as well. However, I also use this board to avoid some painful fast-forwards, "Crossing Jordan", "Charmed", etc. Those shows are so annoying I record them but only flip through them if the board alerts a scene. So, it goes both ways. Just pick your spots. |

Well, one thing about having all this information is that, if I already know there's nothing in it, it allows me to sit back and enjoy a movie for its own sake. |

Sunday September 28 09:13:43 2003 Re: She Spies |
Despite the fact that the first episode of the new season featured a gag-scene, I think there's trouble on the horizon for the show and us.
During the initial six(?) weeks run of SHE SPIES on NBC, the show was played almost over the top tongue-in-cheek. That went away a bit after they switched to cable, but still, the show never seemed to take itself too seriously. (It couldn't, not with girls fighting, climbing walls, and attempting to be stealthy while constantly wearing stiletto heels.) Well, the new season has started and "Jack" is gone, replaced by your standard "tough-guy-on-the-outside-but-really-a-good-guy-on-the-inside" boss along with the standard dweebish-but-cute techno-geek who's all thumbs around the girls. Yawn. BTDT. I think the more serious and standard TV spy drama the show tries to be, the less chance we'll have for some tie-n-gag scenes with the trio. Just my opinion. |

Sunday September 28 09:17:48 2003 TCM for October |
I just posted alerts for TCM for October.
I seem to remember I post this summer with 'Kiss' in the title that turned out not to have a DiD in it. Was it removed from the data base or is it one of the titles listed below? I strongly recommend 'The Devil's Bride' on October 26 Sunday at 7:00 PM. The last time it showed on AMC my VCR was broken and I've not had a chance to tape it since. TCM, Sat Oct 04 10:00pm EDT Record number: 2777 Title: Kiss Me Deadly (1955) Medium: Movie Actress: Maxine Cooper Description: Tied to a chair towards the end of the movie. No gag. October 12 Sunday 4:30 AM Killer's Kiss (1955) When he rescues a girl from her gangster lover Record number: 6590 Title: Killer's Kiss (1955) Medium: Movie Actress: Irene Kane Description: Rough 45 minutes in, Gloria Price (Kane), the hero's love interest, gets kidnapped and tied to a chair in an abandoned factory. Wrists behind back. No gag. She's wearing a dress and heels |

Does anyone else have this problem or am I "one out"?? This was discussed some time ago and I also agree to an extent. I remember flipping through TV Guide as a kid hoping to come across a synopsis for a show, such as Gilligan's Island or Batman, which had a scene. Sites like this do tend to eliminate that "thrill of the hunt", but it also exposes us to many more potential scenes that we would have otherwise missed. |

Sorry guys, but I just got back from a screening. Turns out that script was indeed a fake, as there is not a single scene in the movie. Great flick I would have to say, but if the only reason you were going to see it was for a scene, don't bother. |

Sunday September 28 17:01:34 2003 Re: 1-800-Missing scene |
though the scene was brief, it had some nice elements -- frex, the damsel's hands were tied behind, and she was put in a kneeling position by her captor (I think a brief carry may have been involved, don't remember offhand). So although brief, visually very dramatic.
Also taped "Instinct to Kill" -- man, there was some MAJOR writhing in the last scene of that film. Granted, the heroine was doing it because she had a plastic bag over her head, but she survives, which helps a lot. She's lying on the floor, hands bound behind and (IIRC) ankles bound, too, and she writhes like crazy. A skimpy costume and a gag instead of a plastic bag would have made it MUCH better, but as it was, it was pretty durned good, especially since you just don't see that much writhing in mainstream scenes any more. Sorry to hear about She Spies going dramatic. It had a light, fun, intelligent tone to it before it "went dramatic" that I suspect was rpesponsible for its good ratings (for a syndicated show). I fear tha the dramatic approach will kill the series, because it'll probably go stupid as it goes dramatic -- wouldn't know how to predict its effect on scenes. Probably for the worse, but then, it could be worse and still have pelnty of scenes. |

I was planning to pose that same question, and had finally dug out my old videotape so I could describe it properly. Actually, this aired on A&E...it was some sort of anthology series for indie filmmakers. I have no vidcaps, though. She WAS beautifully busty and well worth watching, as the hostage-taker apparently met her at a club while she was drunk and enjoyed some wild sex -- which she can't recall. When a customer appears and sees her B&G, they chat about her cuffs and gag and the robber calls it the latest fashion. The customer accepts this story and leaves, even though she mmmphs up a storm! |

During breaks of the football game today, I thought about another game that might be interesting. Sort of fantasy league/dead pool kind of thing for TV scenes.
We'd come up with a weighted list of shows, people would have the chance to update their lists once a week so, points assigned based on the weighting factor X the quality of the scene. Any interest? Note we'd need help compiling the list and the weighting factors. |

Sunday September 28 18:55:43 2003 Boudica |
'Boudica' duly aired here in the UK tonight, and duly delivered.
Alex Kingston tied and gagged, her two daughters tied but no gags for them. As a historical drama it was, in my humble opinion, disappointing, with too much mystical stuff and crap dialogue, and Kingston thoroughly unconvincing as the legendary warrior queen. You wouldn't have followed her to the shops, let alone into battle. With such a terrific subject they could and should really have made a magnificent film here. Never mind, the bondage was very good (the scenes a bit brutal, but necessarily so perhaps), and I have added this to the DB (#9146). |

It's interesting that Charmed, which so clearly relishes displaying their actress' physical charms, doesn't really do a lot with them in terms of DiD scenes. I can't quite figure that out. I doubt there's a lot in the way inhibition that keeps them from usind DiD scenes for appeal, but it's kinda obvious that something is inhibiting them. |
