She was in an early episode last season of "She Spies" but saw no action, and a guest spot the previous year on "Relic Hunter" where she was tied with no gag. She's one of those actresses that can turn up anytime, anywhere, so hopefully we'll get something at some point. |

In the latest issue of Raw there are 2 pictures of Terri with her back against a post, her arms around it, and a thin leather cord wrapped around her wrists. Not sure if she's tied or just pretending but the image is great either way. |

There was an episode that was a ripoff of a Mary Tyler Moore episode that was about a stalker. In the MTM episode, there was this guy who was obsessed with the Moore character, and was following her around, and one day showed up at her job and handcuffed himself to her. It would have been great to see MTM have the cuffs to herself rather than share them with a putz, but at least she got cuffed. Now, in the One Day episode, the stalker comes over to visit the Bertinelli character. I'm hoping to myself that he has brought handcuffs, just like the MTM episode. Out comes the cuffs. The guy is going to at least have one cuff on Barbara Cooper, right? Noooo! He cuffs himself to the pole in her bedroom, while Barbara walks out. How great it would have been to see Barbara cuffed with both hands around the pole. Ever notice how Val had avoided metal jewlery over the year. Maybe she's allergic to metal? |

On this latino soap, Amanda (Carolina Tejera) was captured
by villain after her plane crashed, bound and blindfolded. Any other scene on this soap? Unfortunately the local TV station changed the title. |

There are two films with this title. A 1945 theatrical release and a 1973 TV movie. Can't find either in the database. I thought I heard there was a scen in one or both of them. Does anyone know? |

Does anyone know? ------ I haven't seen either myself, but I've added a entry to the Scene Database for the TV-movie for Karen Jensen's b&g scene (based on Allen Marburger's book). (Note: I also just made an entry in the "Database Corrections" page -- because IMDB.com has its year as 1973 rather than the 1967 indicated in Marburger's book). |

Don't forget the pilot for The Streets of San Francisco. Robert Wagner had a lengthy bound and tape gagged scene. If if would have been any woman in his place it would have been a classic. |

The preview for this weekend's 1-800-MISSING indicated a kidnapped girl as the topic de jour. Didn't see any bonds but then with a kidnapping you never can be too sure!
Valerie Bertinelli had a bound-and-gagged scene??? I had never heard that. Was it a good scene?? Does this "Night Sins" ever show up again on TV, or is it maybe out on video? |

Thursday September 25 13:47:25 2003 waikiki angels |
I was checking out this scene on Raffish's site, and I'm once again struck by how ridiculous it is. Kris gets to bring a piece of carry-on luggage! Sure, bring your bag, and if you happen to have a radio, or for that matter a nail clipper or tweezers or something that might help you untie yourself (not that it would be difficult for Kelly and Kris to untie each other) that would be fine too!
The first part of the scene, cut by TVLand, where they are driven back to the bad guys lair with their hands tied to the bars of the dune-buggies also doesn't make much sense--what's the point, except to say "hey, got hot-looking babes tied up here" to anyone you happen to pass. Scene does have good bad-guy gloating ("give me a few hours and you'll be begging me to tie you up") but also would've been helped if they were no longer wearing their windbreakers when they are tied up. |

---- Agreed, this was one of the most illogical episodes of the series. It was almost as if the scriptwriters figured that the viewers wouldn't think too much if the episode had all three Angels in bikinis most of the hour. Perhaps the bad guys didn't want to share their toothbrushes w/ Kris & Kelly (not that *I* would have an issue swappin' saliva w/ Cheryl Ladd or Jaclyn Smith) By the time of the "Walker, Texas Ranger" ("Cowboy") episode, cellphones were small enough to secret on one's person. ---- Talk about cars that are "Babe magnets". Yeah, this irked me too. If they were concerned about someone seeing them, then they wouldn't have allowed them to display their bound wrists (i.e., "Sorry, but if you bonk your heads on the roll-bar, tough luck"). And if they weren't concerned about eyewitnesses, why didn't they Gag them, since their counter-trap was planned out? > > > > > Scene does have good bad-guy gloating... but also would've been helped if they were no longer wearing their windbreakers when they are tied up. --------- I liked Dan Haggerty leering "You got nice legs, Sunshine" to Kris... And I would've removed their windbreakers, for the basic reason that since they knew the Angels were setting a trap, it was certainly possible they were wearing a wire (or Kelly to be concealing a shoulder holster). |

From the looks of previews for next week's "Brotherhood of Poland New Hampshire," it seems Elizabeth McGovern (FINALLY!) will be getting a bondage scene. Not much of one (a snippet where she's in handcuffs), granted, but it's something. Anthony |

Something else that didn't make much sense about this scene--why were they untied for their interrogation? Since they brought Kris out to intimidate Kelly into talking, they should've tied her hands to something over her head, then threatened to torture--then Boz and Julie could come to the rescue. More dramatic that way. What were these writers thinking? Why was everything on this show so half-hearted? |

MMMalph: Claudia hasn't even come close to bondage since Quantum Leap, that I'm aware of, but she has appeared in a few "B" movies. She posed nude for Playboy -- full frontal! -- and has focused on her singing career. She also posed in latex bra and shorts for a movie fan magazine but I didn't buy it and I don't even recall its name. One encouraging note: she said she did the latex pics because she loves pleasing the "fanboys", so cross your fingers... |

3 of the women had their hands tied in front as part of the immunity challenge.
They were shown being untied during the contest. This show is getting better & better for us. Maybe one day, they will show our skimpily clad damsels tied to some poles or something like that! |

> What were these writers thinking? Why was everything on this show so half-hearted?
------- The episode had so many holes in it, it made one wonder if the writers had been smoking some Maui wowee. E.g., at the beginning, the Angels need to qualify as lifeguards in a fair time trial for both men & women. Now, my understanding is that the Hawaiian Islands produce a large population of strong swimmers, especially given its powerful surfs. Nevertheless, Julie Rogers, whose character was the "street-smart" one, qualifies 25th. I guess she found time to spend her late hours at the city's YWCA pool. Another remarkable "missed opportunity" was when the Angels go on a cruise ship, and Kelly Garrett's cover is blown during the ship's masquerade party. The villains take her to their cabin, and guard her captive at gunpoint. Now given that persons in the next cabin(s) and the ship's passageway are oh, about five feet away, would it make sense at all to B&g a PI?! But no, it was another case of the bad guys commanding "Sit down, and behave yourself"... |

But no, it was > another case of the bad guys commanding "Sit down, and behave yourself"... Yeah, this was definitely near the top of most ludicrous missed opportunities. At one point doesn't Kris come by the room, and rather than shouting something to Kris (who's out in the corridor, and could get help), she does behave herself! Although I don't believe in no-gag clauses, I definitely think the stars on this show had some kind of an arrangement where nothing much would happen to them. Marathon Angels, the sort of thing you would expect on a show like this, involved guest stars! Did that make any sense? |

McFarlane Toys' "Twisted Land of Oz" series is out, which includes a blindfolded and elbow-bound (and all grown up) Dorothy in a corset, breast strap, thong and boots. I found mine at the local Spencer Gifts (behind the counter). Check the Homepage link for a photo (the 'skirt' only comes on the variant, making the standard version more interesting in my opinion). |

Thursday September 25 23:10:38 2003 Passions |
Well, Sheridan was dumped in the drink today so I guess the bondage is over. She was pretty much in the situation someone mentioned a few days back from some fan site or something...wrapped in fisherman's net, bound & blindfolded (but it was removed before they dumped her), but no gag. I think that fan site thing had said "bound, blindfolded, and gagged".
I've noticed several instances (at least) or a synopsis, spoiler, or description using the term "bound and gagged", or "tied & gagged", etc. and it turns out there was no gag involved. I think alot of people use the generic "bound and gagged" to describe any bondage situation, even if there aren't any gags. It's like an overall term used to describe when someone has been tied up, but isn't necessarily meant to be taken literally. Now, most folks don't say "tied & gagged" unless the lady is actually tied and gagged, but I think there are some other there who think "bondage" and "bound and gagged" are synomous. |

Record number: 9138 Title: Enterprise Medium: TV Series Actress: Jolene Blalock Description: Episode: Extinction (3.3) Capt. Archer, T'pol (Blalock), Lt. Reed and Hoshi travel to a planet in search of the third season's nemesis--the Xindi. T'pol is overpowered by her crewmates after they are genetically altered by a virus on the planet. When we see her next, she is being carried in a litter made of 2 long poles with a net of foliage strung between them. When it and she are lowered to the ground we see that her wrists are bound to the poles with vines (or some other similar rope substitute). She comes to and asks to be untied. The transformed Capt. Archer eventually complies after some objections from the others. Blalock's costume is a tight light gray jumpsuit. |

Her captors happen to be Capt. Archer and a couple of other crew members who have been infected with a virus that's caused them to regress to a less kind & gentle sort of primate. When she's put on the ground, you can see that her wrists are tied to the sides of the sling. About a minute later, she convinces her captors to release her. It's a short scene, but Jolene looks good in it...as per always!! |
