I just noticed the change just now. I'm personally glad to see an FAQ right there - hopefully it'll remind people not to make the mistakes they always do, and what's more, it'll remove the viability of the excuse of "I didn't know any better". |

| While surfing around last night, caught a nice scene on AMC in a bad movie called Blood From the Mummy's Tomb. In the very final scene, there's a woman who is mummified (I think)
from head to foot with gauze, except for an open slit for her eyes. She awakens mmphing weakly, then gets a look of abject horror in her eyes when she realizes her predicament. Then the credits roll. I don't know if there are any other scenes before that. Anyone ever seen this flick? |

Perhaps a little off topic, but due to the interest in Dawn, I thought I would share this. Dawn's mother lives in the town were I work. She comes to visit a couple times a year, and I've had the honor of meeting her more than once. The last time was about five years ago and she still looks fantastic! She has aged well. Not much grey (if any) to speak of. Even at her age, she would still make a wonderful damsel. Dave |

This may be too little too late, as the movie has already aired, but the girl is grabbed at around the 25' mark and seen hogtied & cleave gagged (on her side) on a cot. It's pretty much a solid scene (several ungaggings & regaggings) for the next 9 minutes (until after the call to her father & she's lead away by the kidnappers). There are a few scenes of her untied at the hideout, where she escapes, is re-caught, etc. At around the 46' mark she is led down a hall and re-gagged (not tied) and led away. A few minutes later she is lead to a table (not gagged anymore but hands tied behind back)to write a note of some sort. At the 51' mark she is seen again tied & gagged on the cot (hands in front, ankles crossed) asleep. At about the 58' mark she's ungagged & untied (except for her feet), eating with one of the kidnappers. She is re-gagged by another man a few seconds later. Next bondage scene: around 72' mark, shes tied (not gagged) & thrown on cot as 2 guys fight. At 80', tied (not gagged) on cot. Talks to one of the men, they kiss, and scene lasts about 5 minutes, when he gags her again. At around the 95' mark, she is seen briefly on the cot again, tied & gagged & asleep (during ranson drop). About 7 minutes later the "good" bad guy (the one she kissed) goes to her on the cot & unties & ungags her. End of bondage. |

| I remember reading here that CATHERINE BELL was strapped down & threatened with torture in the JAG cliffhanger. Unfortunately... I missed it. (It's not in the scene database, by the way.) Anyhoo, I *think* the rerun is airing this Friday (the 19th.) The episode title is "A TANGLED WEB," & the blurb reads: "Going against orders, Harm quits JAG and journeys to Paraguay to try to rescue Mac and CIA Agent Webb." Questions:
(1) *Is* this the episode in question? (2) How good is the DiD scene? I know there's no gag (none mentioned, anyway); but what's the scene like? I know Catherine is *very* pregnant (& Mac is "pretending" to be); but still... IT'S CATHERINE!!! |
