Land of the Living excerpt
On august 11., several posted about this novel about a woman held captive and bound, gagged and hooded by a serial killer.
There was a link to a page with an excerpt from the first chapter.

This just to mention there's an excerpt too on Amazon.com- consisting of 38 pages that is twice as long.

Re: spider2

It should come on again soon. I also missed the first part, when the bad guys came on to the boat and first started tapeing up the girls. I did see them put the tape (close up shot) over both girls mouths, and also (another close up) when he taped up one of the girls wrists.

Nanny Dickering was indeed bound and gagged at least once in "CRACKED" magazine. It was in a story in which she was kidnapped, and she was bound and gagged for the entire story! Even when she was rescued, her rescuers left her bound and gagged!
Early in the story, she was bound and gagged with duct tape; the tape was wound around her entire body, and she was gagged with a single strategically placed strip. Later in the story, she is bound to the chair with simply a sufficient amount to properly secure her, and still gagged with one strip.

Just heard on CNN...
...that actor Charles Bronson passed away today at the age of 81.

Putting his name into the Description field of the database search page brings up-in addition to an entry from an episode of "The Virginian"-eight movies he was in that had scenes, and scanning his IMDb filmography brings some more to mind: "House of Wax," "Murphy's Law," "Rider on the Rain," and "Apache."

And I'm willing to bet that isn't all he helped give us, so let's all tip a glass to him at our end-of-the-summer picnics tomorrow.
