1. Days of our Lives - 39 Scenes
2. General Hospital - 30 Scenes
3. One Life to Live - 27 Scenes
4. All My Children - 21 Scenes
5. Guiding Light - 20 Scenes
6. Young and Restless- 17 Scenes
7. As The World Turns- 16 Scenes
8. Bold and Beautiful- 10 Scenes
Passions - 10 Scenes
10. Port Charles - 6 Scenes
---------------------------------
196 Scenes Total

Guiding LIght also produced the Entry #1 in the database. Sherry Stringfield on Guiding Light.

As for defunct soaps, ANOTHER WORLD has 17 listed, LOVING 9, SEARCH FOR TOMARROW 5, RYAN'S HOPE and CAPITOL 2 each.

Don't forget "Sunset Beach" with 10 scenes in the database. I'm not sure if that's all of them.

More Soap Thoughts
Looking over the list I posted, I started thinking about the first soap scenes I remember fondly.

My Favorite memory is of JANE KRAKOWSKI on SEARCH FOR TOMARROW. She looked reaaly cute back then, and looked great on ALLY MCBEAL. Too bad she never had a scene on ALLY.

I skipped a day of High School to see COLLEN ZENK on AS THE WORLD TURNS. She still looks pretty good all these many years later.

And the last one I want to mention here is KRISTA TESRAU (or something like that, I never could spell her name!) on Guiding Light. She wore a great white sweater and a red bandana Gag. I believe she was kidnapped by a trucker named Kat.

How did the news that Claire Forlani had a gag scene in Mystery Men come out in first place? I've done a lot of searches but can't find anything.

Was there a DiD scene in MacGruder and Loud and Brotherhood of the Rose?
Memory test: Before I add these to the Scene Database, perhaps others can improve my recollection:

"MacGruder and Loud" (1985 TV series). I seem to recall that Kathryn Harrold (as Officer Jenny Loud MacGruder) had her hands tied behind in at least one episode.

Was it the one where she was held captive by a gunman and rescued at the end by her partner (and secret husband) who breaks down the door, and in the heat of the moment she forgets their covers and gives him a big kiss? Or the episode where she enters his apartment in a nightie, covered only by a trenchcoat, and finds gunmen waiting there for him instead (thinking fast, she explains that she's a hooker who's been hired a group of SWAT teamers).

And in "Brotherhood of the Rose" (1989 TV movie), did Peter Strauss (aka agent "Romulus") encounter Connie Sellecca (Erika Bernstein) with her hands tied behind?

Saw this with my daughter last week. The young Avril-Lavigne-ish lead girl, Lindsay Lohan, gets a nice handgag, with her friends trying to kidnap her from a rehearsal dinner so she can play guitar at the talent show with their band. They threaten her with rope and duct tape, but we never see this applied. In the next scene the girls are escorted back to the party by security, with one of the girls (don't remember, I think Lohan) holding a gag-sized strip of tape in her hands.

Maybe a DVD extra will have the scene?!? I believe it was written in the script.

I did some research and found the "Spy" episode from Mister Ed. there were 4 between Sep-Oct of 1965. Here are the episode numbers, titles, and the names of the potential damsels, if indeed one of these has a DID scene:
131. Ed the Conterspy-possible damsel: Jacqueline Beer
133. Ed sniffs out a cold clue-possible damsel: Nobu McCarthy
134. Spies Strike Back-possible damsel: nobu McCarthy
136. Anybody got a Zebra,or Monkey involved in a Spy Ring-possible damsel: sandra gould.
hope this information is of help.

News of the gag scene appeared on the Internet before the movie was released, on an official Mystery Men site that described the making of the film. One of the "journal entries" or whatever described a scene that was supposed to take place early in the movie, with Claire gagged and bound. It has never surfaced, unfortunately.

Anything Promising in New Shows
Hey Vatos,

Has there any buzz about any new fall TV shows that might have something to our deviant liking? I haven't seen anything yet. Just a bunch of trite unfresh sitcom commercials. Maybe there will start showing more previews for other shows during football games once the season starts in full swing. If anyone has seen(or heard) anything promising then let us know.

It apparently was written into the script. The Movie Spoiler mentions it actually happening in their review:
"They tell her that the club is only down the street and they can be back in a few minutes. She refuses, but they duct tape her and tie her up."

"Descenant" inquiry...
Can anyone tell what sort of ligatures were used on Ms. Heigl in the "Descendant" scene? I just downloaded the video from the grand and wonderful Kerhop's site, but for the life of me I cannot figure out what they are. They look elastic, but don't have the sheen of rubber. I'd guess stockings, except they seem much too long.

I like the scene, and was curious. Thanks!

I don't think so, I dont remember her being captured in the novel (which is excellent by the way) or the film, but it was about 10 years since I last watched it.

David Morrell (the author) does have extended duct tape and bondage descriptions of a female character in his novel "Long Lost" however.

Crime of Passion scene time?
Anyone know how far in the scene occurs in A Crime of Passion? I seem to recall this movie creating a bit of controversy on this site sometime back, but for the life of me, I can't remember what it was.

Heh, I'm working on the annual Fall preview for the E-zine now...that is, if there is an E-zine.

If not, I will post it here on the Discussion Page of course, just like in the old days.

Nothing in it for Amber, however, there is a brief, rather unmemoriable scene where an unknown actress & her boyfriend are being questioned by the detective. The girl is rather stoned & keeps interrupting with stupid statements. After one such comment, we see the detective's disgusted face & the next we see the woman with a piece of tape over her mouth. There are 3-4 nice close-ups of her face, and I think maybe even some gag-talk. There are no bonds, however.

As The World Turns update
Today's episode featured a thug telling another thug to find Simon Frazier and tell him I have his wife. His wife is Teri Columbino. She wasn't shown today and wasn't in the previews for tomorrow either, but I'm taping anyway.

I just posted DiDcaps on my site from the Kim Possible episode "Sink or Swim", or as I like to call it, "Cheerleaders in Bondage"! :-) (You *know* those Disney animators are having fun doing this.)

One Life to Live - Robin Strasser
I only caught the end of OLTL today. Dorian (50-something Robin Strasser) was tied to a chair sans gag. No idea what happened in the first 45 minutes.

Man I wish this was a live action show. There have been a decent amount of scenes considering the show has been on for just a couple of seasons. Nice caps although I don't dig animation bondage too much. Thanks
