Yes it does. While the site's currently down, I thought I might as well help out and upload it myself. Pic is at

Reduce the number after the word "hidden" or remove it to see the other pics. I still can't get over the fact that an author actually hired people to pose in pics for her "illustrations". That's too strange, but cool. I wonder how many characters the book has total? (or how one would go about casting for such a project)

Photo Illustrated Magazines
>Photo Illustrated Novels

According to DW (Deutsche Welle), Photo Illustrated Magazines / Comics
are popular in German. They put baloon / dialog on top of the
photograph.

Any DID scene on the German magazines / comics?

MI5 AKA SPOOKS
A&E is showing this British series starting July 22 and in the promos there is a brief shot of a woman tape gagged in a car.

Re: MI5 AKA SPOOKS
Title: Spooks
Medium: TV Series
Actress: Beth Vyse, unknown

Description: Episode 1.3 (no episode title)

Plot concerns a terrorist takeover of an embassy in London (which is a decoy for a bank heist of sorts). In the opening few minutes, before the credits roll, a young brunette woman (Vyse) is seen briefly on the floor of a London taxi, hands bound in front with black plasticuffs and gagged with black tape. She´s the daughter of someone who has access to MI5´s bank.

She´s later seen in a darkly lit room, standing with hands tied overhead (with rope now), still gagged with tape. This scene lasts about a minute, with some nice close-ups as she´s ungagged for a drink, then re-gagged.

There are one or two more scenes of her, sometimes very darkly lit, and when she´s rescued there´s another nice close-up of her gagged face. She mmmphs nicely in most scenes.

Towards the end there´s also a very brief scene as one of the female terrorists is led away hands secured behind back.

Keen Eddie?
Anyone watch "Keen Eddie", and if so, anything bondage-wise happen?

Nothing on Keen Eddie last night.
They are woefully underusing Sienna Miller as far as I am concerned.

In more ways than one. Not only is she not in any trouble, but she's hardly in any scenes. They built the show up like she was going to be his main partner and that's not even the case. She's usually only shown the apartment.

PIRATES a bust
Save yer money, lads. Nothing to see here.
All you get is that rope-cuff-in-front shot
we've seen in stills. But, Orlando Bloom
does get cleaved. Ewwwww.....

These are also popular in Italy (called "Fumetti"). I was surprised to find some in a local drugstore back in the early '70s (next to the large selection of detective mags and other men's adventure mags [one of which had an ad for the first edition of Belier Press' Sweet Gwendoline book!]).

The photographs are credited to one Robert Houser, BTW, though there's no indication of who the models are.

There are over 50 photos in the book, with a fair number of main characters and extras, so I imagine it was a good deal of work. Perhaps it was part of series that was produced for school reading programs? I seem to remember seeing stuff like that from time to time, way back when we had RIF in elementary school...

Da Vinci's Inquest "Fantasy"
More from Jay L.! Warning: this is a fairly short, dark scene, though I thought the caps and clips were still worth making.

Hey Raffish, do you have that book? Is that how you scanned those pictures? Or did someone send them to you? If you could.... would you please post pics of what the girls look like in unrelated DiD pictures? The one in the pic has her head slumped down and you cannot see her, if i remember, she was rather pretty. However that book was published in the mid 70's. I wonder how old those girls were in that book and how old they'd be now.

Thanks for this information over on the Movie Alerts Page. Thanks also for understanding that we don't all read every single post--I for one wasn't aware of the big crash that apparently occurred. I do check for new video store alerts, and post any that I find (I rent about two every week, usually total shots in the dark). I wonder if any recent direct-to-videos have paid off...anyone had any success?
