I'll second the motion made by Paco to offer thanks here to G. Anderson. Like Paco, I'd gotten fairly discouraged about checking that book for scenes a long time ago, so the offerings about Coyote Moon and Ghoul Trouble were encouraging and helpful, to say the least.

I would like to add that I have seen one other issue in the series that produced a full treatment scene for Willow. Just ran across it in a bookstore the other day. I'm ~pretty~ sure it was titled "Ghost Dog" and I came upon it while thumbing through one of the Buffy compilation books which focused on stories about Willow and her witch girlfriend.

Anyway, the image features Willow being held aloft by vines of some sort during a witchcraft ritual. She's sporting a white tape-gag ... it's not the best artwork in the series, nor is it the worst. If I can locate the individual issue, I think it's worth picking up.

Was the scene with the woman bound and tapegagged in a van in tonight's episode and if so, when in the show did it occur?

No problem, happy to help.

Now that is one I'm certainly interested in. I wonder if it was one of the ones co-written by Amber Benson (Tara)? If you are able to find out where the scene is from, I'd appreciate it.

Personaly I'm waiting for Amber Benson to get a nice scene. She already did, I believe, in 'The Crush' (handcuffed and gagged, I think). She was 16 at the time though. Given her birthdate I've got four more months to find that scene while still feeling comftable about it. The race is on.

Rosalita is played by GLADISE JIMENEZ who had a great DinD scene in the Spanish cop series Reyes Y Rey. She wore a tight aerobics uniform and was tied nicely but was never gagged. Glad to she gets the full treatment now.

No problem. I found this compilation book at a Borders store. Next time I'm there I'll get more specific info.

"Spun" fun

Yeah, I figure this one deserves the full treatment, so to speak...so here's Spun (Damsel Mix) as a little advance on Friday's update. :)

The .mov clip is in my usual QuickTime/3ivx format. For a RealMedia version, simply substitute ".rm" for ".mov" in the link below.

I don't have time at the moment to do a full cap set that would do justice to a scene this long and dynamic, but if anyone else would like to, I could point you to the full-resolution QuickTime (Motion JPEG A encoding, no audio, 15fps) I've made that should work well for that purpose. (You should plan to be serious about this, and should have a high-speed connection, since it's a 300MB+ file that will take us both a fairly long time to up/download.)

Fear Dot Com/ Wrong Turn
I don’t remember much talk about it, but I got a hold of the scene from Fear Dot Com the other day. I have to say I really enjoyed this one a lot. You don’t see many like it any more, especially with the use of a strap plug-gag. The last scene I remember that even resembled this one was the Naomi Campbell scene. Of course, there is always a lot more tension in a scene when the antagonist is a crazed doctor type that likes to experiment on his victims. Fortunately in this scene, it never goes all the way. Nonetheless, a cute girl and some fairly unconventional bondage make for one of the better scenes I have witnessed in mainstream movies in quite some time. To sum up, movie awful, bondage scene nice!

Also, I have a clip made up from Wrong Turn, from somebody else’s full rip. Unfortunately, I have nowhere to post it up at the moment. It is fairly long, thus the file is fairly big (I think a little under 6 meg). I was thinking if Raffish was interested in putting it on his Cannuck site, I would make arrangements to get it to him. There are no caps with it, but the scene is pretty lengthy and some very nice struggling and mmphing. If anybody is interested in posting this so that all may see, just email me.

Sure, I'm up for it! It probably wouldn't go on the canuck site, but I've also got my catch-all "posts" directory that's tailor-made for one-off arrangements like this. Just email me, and I'll send you a private address at which I don't need to worry about bandwidth limitations on attachments.

Ultimate Force
Ultimate Force (A UK series based around an SAS unit) had a scene today, though nothing special.

Storyline saw a male and female kidnapped by some Swedish rebels, I think. The shows more about 'Mindless Violence' than plot, which is why people watch it. The male was essentialy in charge of the unit and the female was some sort of something to do with defence.

The female was played by Emily Joyce (starred in 'My Hero'). Both had their hands tied behind their backs, although we only saw the guys hands. Both had their feet tied, no closeups on the women again and both, for a time, hand blindfolds on. We saw plenty of the women close up with the blindfold.

Saving grace is that the guy rarely infringes on Ms. Joyce's picture. Problem remains that the pictures feature very little.

Good show still.

Lois Lane bound and gagged
Late tonight (actually early Thursday morning) at 4:00 am, TV Land is showing THE ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN: "The Mystery of the Broken Statues" (episode # 4.) Lois Lane (played by Phyllis Coates) gets bound and gagged.

I haven't seen this on TV LAND yet ... but the airing years ago on NICK AT NITE, its sister network, had the bit with the cop chopped, as mentioned in the DB entry, although IIRC it was considerably less than a two-minute scene.

My old notes for a NICK showing have the sequence beginning around the 13' mark.

Superman/Broken Statues
The mention of this episode brings up a question I've gnawed on for years. Only old timers like myself might remember this. The first shot we get of Lois b&g is the long shot when she's taken out and put in the car. In the fifties when the show was first run I seem to remember that there was a scene in the bad guys office with Lois b&g before she's taken out to the car. Now I've never been able to see that scene in years afterword during various re-runs. I always assumed it was just stations cutting the scene to make more room for commercials, but once I rented a Superman video of the episode and it still didn't show the scene. That has led me to think that my memory has played tricks on me and that I've just imagined the scene. Is anyone out there old enough to remember the original run of Superman, and do they remember such a scene?

The scenes shown in the A&E promo for MI-5 may be from the following ep:

Meanwhile, a man (Christopher Fulford) with the group breaks into a nearby bank containing the payroll list of every British intelligence agent. Leyla: Katie Jones. Serka: Karzan Krekar. Chalak: Ray Panthaki.

Scheduled to air 8/5 - CYLL.

All I can say is that the first time I saw the ep in the mid '80s on a local station's marathon, there was nothing prior to Coates' being hustled out to the car ... but the cop scene was included. A few years later on NICK AT NITE the latter had been axed.
