I hadn't been the the video store in a few weeks, so there were some possibilities I'll check in the next week or so. Save your money on "Spliced", a horror flick with some hot 20-somethings, including the lead, a dead ringer for a young Jill Hennessy. Obviously nothing in "Phone Booth" (Katie Holmes had like three lines of dialogue) but the movie itself was terrific. |

So is anything developing on "Passions"? There was talk Sheridan (?) was kidnapped? We don't get that show on our NBC affilliate for some reason. |
Thursday July 10 12:27:53 2003 "Hatred of a Minute" |
This is a new low-budget indie serial killer flick, probably going straight to video. From the review at "Ain't It Cool News":
"Eric [the killer] tells his tale of growing up, being abused, and learning to like killing, to a woman tied up in the back of his car." From the description (lots of flashbacks to his early life), this could be an extended scene. No indication if the DID survives or not, and the poster image doesn't show anything. |

The artist is 'Daniel K'. Anyone who has a scene like that deserves the utmost respect. |
Thursday July 10 13:29:51 2003 Re: "Hatred of a Minute" |
"Eric Seaver is a regular guy with a beautiful fiancé, a day job transcribing autopsy reports and a bloody, terrified woman tied up in the backseat of his car. Eric Seaver is a serial killer."
Trailer seems to show some bondage. |

The main difference (aside from their photo being in black and white)is that someone at MSN apparently added a tape gag--actually drew it on the negative, from the look of it. There are several other stills in Movie Star News' "Hollywood bondage" collection that have been altered this way. |

Thursday July 10 15:45:56 2003 Make your own animated bondage movie! |
"Around the world, increasing numbers of would-be movie moguls are utilizing the 3-D graphics engines of games like Quake or Unreal to produce animated movies -- at a fraction of the money spent by studios like Pixar. "
"Known as machinima ("machine cinema"), the relatively new, no-budget genre has yet to produce a blockbuster of Finding Nemo proportions. " "However, machinima is maturing so rapidly, some predict it will soon be a major force in animation, especially with the imminent arrival of a new generation of hardware and software promising an era of photo-realistic "cinematic computing" "Machinima began in the late 1990s, when gamers realized that instead of generating monsters to be blown away, game animation engines could be employed to conjure up imaginative sets, casts of thousands and spectacular special effects. " "Better yet, game engines were fast enough to render scenes in real time. In contrast, the tools used for big-budget animations such as Toy Story or Shrek can consume days to generate a few minutes of footage. " "To date, machinima has required some expertise to turn a game into a virtual movie set, but that's about to change with a new generation of games that promise to include movie-making tools. " "The quality of machinima movies today rivals Toy Story five years ago, Rehbock said. He predicted that within a couple of years, animated TV shows will routinely be produced using machinima methods. " So, when do we start shooting? http://www.wired.com/news/technology/0,1282,59566,00.html |

Thursday July 10 16:32:48 2003 Las Vias Del Amor? |
Last week there was a post that Las Vias Del Amor - weekdays at 7 PM on Univision- might have a DiD. I’ve taped ever night expect Tuesday. Did I miss anything or is there still a DiD coming up. I don’t speak Spanish so it is hard to predict the plot

Specifically, Biff posted a tip about a possibility that I emailed to friends. > I’ve taped ever night expect Tuesday. Did I miss anything > or is there still a DiD coming up. Perla (the very pretty Aracely Arambula) will be kidnapped by crazy Enrique. Other than that I have no idea whether the kidnap scenario will result in any bondage peril for Perla. The storyline has moved along slower than I expected because Thursday's show repeated on Monday, there was no show on Friday, and in the first half-hour of each show they have been repeating sizable chunks of the previous night's last half-hour. |

I imagine that it'll come around again in the free area at some point, though I featured it recently enough that it will probably be a while. |
