One Life to Live
Just caught this on SoapNet rerun. On Monday's episode, Jennifer (Rebecca Morris) did a striptease on stage where she removes her black shirt and pants and cleave-gags herself with the black shirt. She then parades around with the shirt in her mouth for the entire scene. Wasn't tied back, but she looked good nonetheless. Pink bra and black panties. Add in her handgag scene on Wednesday, and Rebecca had a good week.

Also, this week marks the end for psycho Dr. McGiver, who is being written off the show on Friday. He currently has Gabriele in his clutches at the end of Friday's episode, and has Jen and Lindsay locked in the phycho ward wearing matching gray medical gowns. He's also after Blair and maybe Nora. Stay tuned.

The article he refers to is a review of a book about postwar "Men's Adventure" magazines. There's one cover illo in the online version of the article; not sure about the print version:

1-800-Missing a new Lifetime mystery series
I've posted the following in the "VCR Alerts":

Day: Saturday August 02 2003 10:00PM E.T.
Channel: Lifetime

Newspaper's episode description:
"FBI agent Brooke Haslett (Gloria Reuben, 'ER') gets surprising help in this mystery series based on novels by Meg Cabot. The premiere teams Haslett with Jess Mastriani (Caterina Scorsone), a young woman with psychic powers that aloow her to 'see' the locations of missing people who desperately need help. In their first case together, the new partners search for a woman who has been kidnapped by an obsessed boyfriend."

From TV Guide magazine episode description:
"An uneasy alliance is formed between a passionate and hard-working FBI agent (Gloria Reuben) and a recent college graduate (Caterina Scorsone) who, in the opener, develops the ability to locate missing persons after being struck by lightning."

Also, the TV Guide magazine August 2-8 issue provides a one-page writeup on page 43:
"The new Lifetime mystery is based on '1-800-Where-R-You,'a popular series of young adult novels by Meg Cabot... To capture a broader audience, the series has aged Mastriani, played by young Canadian actress Caterina Scorsone, to 21. In a blend of 'Without a Trace'and 'The X-Files', Haslett and the telepath become partners in crime-solving, with Mastriani as the show's Mulder and Haslett the prove-it-to-me Scully... Lifetime is counting on '1-800'to help draw an audience younger than its 48-year-old average."

The one piece of Bad news: "And this being Lifetime, there's also plenty of the female bonding..." (My translation: Less onscreen time for the missing persons).

I'm not familiar with the DiD potential of Meg Cabot's novels, but the fact that the series is about missing persons (rather than homicide investigations, etc.) and that it's on Lifetime can be construed as good signs. Hey, it's premier episode already starts off with a "Woman kidnapped by obsessed boyfriend" plot!

Bob Hope Passes Away At 100
Some of his films had B&G scenes like Road To Rio and They Got Me Covered (which also had a nice handgag scene for Dorothy Lamour by a burly female nurse). Watch for TV networks to be airing them soon.

In an interesting development on 1-800-Missing, the show's star Katerina Scorsone has been in a DID situation at least once in her film career. She plays a damsel in the hokey teen film "Teen Knight" She is captured by a gang of evil knights, her hands tied in the front and her cleave gagged with a black cloth. Also, there is alot of emoting from Ms. Scorsone.

Vanessa Marcil
Handgag luvr: I think that is nasty rumor about Vanessa Marcil. No one has ever shown a clip or caps from the supposed 'gag' scene;I have that G.H. episode on tape -Vanessa does get handgagged, then tied to a chair. No gag.

Fortunately, even if a particular episode lacks an "Abducted female(s)" storyline, there's always the possibility of Caterina Scorsone's Mastriani character getting a premonition, her veteran partner being skeptical, so Mastriani goes off "poking her nose where it doesn't belong" -- and encountering the Lois Lane/Dana Scully treatment.

Hopefully, this plot device isn't used more often than say, three or four times.

A recent episode of "John Doe" had Rekha Sharmin tied & cleave gagged in a tank of water that gradually filled completely, submerging her for several minutes till she was rescued.
Also, "Cabin by the Lake" had a couple gals tied & gagged & thrown overboard into the lake.

Bondage in Music Videos

Well over the course of a couple a months we have seen about 2 or 3 music videos where the singes or dancers are tied up right?
Isn't that better then the summer box office.

Anyway, if you have a music video showing bondage why don't you post it.

The Foreigner
This is what Yahoo TV says about it:

"USA Aug 03 07:00pm
Movies, 120 Mins.

Cast: Steven Seagal, Harry Van Gorkum, Jeffrey Pierce, Anna-Louise Plowman, Max Ryan, Sherman Augustus, Philip Dunbar, Izabela Okrasa, Grzegorz Kowalczyk, Dianna Camacho."

Anybody know who the 'real life' mother and daughter who get tied up together are?

She was also tied to a chair in the "Once A Thief" episode entitled "Little Sister". No gag in that one though.

when exactly WAS this scene in the episode? I just watched & recorded today's episode off SoapNet & didn't see anything that remotely resembled the scene you mentioned. I didn't even see anyone on any stage. Do you have an app. time...maybe I zoomed right past it if it was short. thanks.
