And the worst part is, they really had nothing to report!! Just a bunch of maybes. They went back to the show just as they were starting to roll the credits. Thanks for cap. It may be the only bit of the scene I get to see. |

| S Club's feature movie "Seeing Double", released in the UK on April 11, is about a mad scientist replacing members of the band with clones. No comment. :-)
Now, does this mean he has to keep the "real" ones out of circulation, or am I hoping piously here? Anyone heard anything about our kind of action, which just might make the thing worth watching? |

I've always wondered if the great art direction indicated by the decorated gags and the costumes extended to the resto f the film -- I suspect it did, though I also suspect there were some heavy budget limitations. |

The review also said the "movie" was extremely lame & unexciting. So... sounds a lot like everything *else* S-Club has ever done. (...although if it ever shows on TV in the US, I'll probably watch it... just to stare at Hannah. {sigh} They don't come any cuter.) :-) |

Thanks Actually, those *are* color pics (except for the one Bindher used for the link image, which is one of those artsy-fartsy B&W preview things DOOL likes to do). It's just that the scene is quite dark, so you're not gonna get a lot of color saturation. |

She's shown three times in the first half-hour in full treatment before freeing herself. The first scene is shown in the opening sequence, right after Jack is shown wondering about her whereabouts. She pops again around 12 minutes, again on a cutaway following Jack. Third and final time she's shown in treatment is around 26 minutes. That last one pops quickly after Jack is trying to pull a fast one on the D.A. by getting him to check some files in his office after crank calling him. In the last half hour, Jennifer struggles through the back seats of the car and gets on her cell phone and call Kristin Alfonso, who will meet up with her tomorrow. Previews showed Jen scuffling with Maria, and Jack flying in from nowhere to tackle some thugs that are also on the scene. As for OLTL, it's the bust Brian predicted it would be. It's some guy the girls know. He was trying to steal a necklace out of the girl's room while she was sleeping. Another girl in the house discovered him in the act in the opening minutes. It's doubtful anything else will result, other than the guy trying to weasel his way out of attempted burglary with some sob story. |

Actually, they do rerun Fear Factor on occasion. I'm not sure how often or how they pick 'em, but I bet this peril gets re-used at the very least -- it's VERY photogenic. | "Jennifer" (Melissa Reeves) is bound and gagged in the trunk of Maria's car throughout the first half hour. Right before the halfway point, she manages to free her hands. She unties her feet and she pulls the gag down around her neck. There are then some good shots of her sandaled foot trying to kick open the trunk. Finally she escapes from the trunk through the back seat. The preview for tomorrow's episode did not show any further bondage, but it did show "Jennifer" fighting with "Maria." |

| No one seems to have mentioned this, so I guess I will. I have also posted an alert to the alerts page.
In one of the previews for this new show featuring Jon Corbett of Northern Exposure fame, a seemingly cute blonde was tied up in the trunk of a car. There was only a quick shot as the trunk is opened, but I would swear I saw a bound and (I think) gagged blonde cutie in the back. I never got it on tape to go frame by frame unfortunately. Not sure if this occurs in the pilot episode tonight, or in a future show. Use your own judgment. It is premiering on FX at 8:00 PST. |

| Hey, I was just cruising the net when I came across an interesting article about Britney Spears. Does anyone know if there is any truth to the rumor that she will be starring in Die Hard 4 because if so, she will play Bruce Willis' kidnapped daughter. Hopefully, that would mean that we could possibly see her a way that many thousands in the world want to see her-gagged. By the way, I apologize in advance if anything has already been posted regarding this; I haven't been here in a while. :) Thanks for the help. |

It can make for some fun drama, and it also, at least to me, makes the use of ropework more exciting. It underscores the restraining factor of ropes, as well as the determination of the damsel to escape, when we see her freeing herself. |

When you consider that a typical one-hour soap produces more than 250 one-hour episodes during the course of just one year, just about any soap actress is a candidate for a scene. In contrast to soaps, your typical prime-time or syndicated crime drama or actions series does approximately 24 one-hour episodes during the course of one year. Hence, one year of a soap will likely produce more hours of television than over 10 years of a crime drama or action series. What surprises me is that given the huge differnce in the amount of TV time, that we don't see a whole lot more DID bondage scenes on soaps that we presently have listed in the database. I suspect that there a whole lot of missing soap scenes. |

| The recent discussion on Anabella Sciorra's uncomfortable hours spent in rope for the filming of "Whispers in the Dark" got me wondering about why there are so few DiD scenes w/ Leather cuffs. Unfortunately, such scenes are rare: E.g., Walker Texas Ranger "Return of LaRue" episode; Lowball; and Whoops Apocalypse come to mind.
The paucity of Ballgags in mainstream was recently discussed. Despite the fact that ballgags are sold at just about any city or surburban adult store, reasons I can see they're seldom used is the lenghthy setup time for TV & movies: Ballgags will get uncomfortable (particularly for an actress not used to the sensation) and will cause her to drool in most positions. However, those reasons don't apply to Leather cuffs. In fact, padded cuffs are a heck of a lot more "DiD-friendly" than rope. Wouldn't most actresses prefer comfy leather cuffs rather than getting ropeburn from a scene (+ the re-takes) requiring her to struggle against her bonds? In the Ballgag discussion, some posters noted that Ballgags aren't just aren't carried around by people. Well, I agree that'd apply to "Burglar" tieups, but how about the frequent "Planned Kidnap" and "Obsessed Stalker" storylines? Handcuffs are commonplace on TV/movies, and the people using them aren't in law enforcement. They likely bought the cuffs at an adult store. And they know they can be quickly applied, and will prove a sturdy restraint. Padded cuffs, by contrast are almost a form of "Love bondage", suitable for those obsessed stalker tales. He/she wants to keep the DiD under restraint for a long period of time, yet it's clear that they do not wish their restraints to cause her discomfort. And for me, an adult store is a closer drive than a Home Depot or a Lowe's (for rope or duct tape). Not to mention, I can get in and out of an adult store a heck of a lot faster than I can braving the "orange-apron" gauntlet. |

| I don't know if this will be of any interest to anyone out there, but tonite I was at Kroger thumbing thru the mags while waiting for the wife and started going thru this wrestling mag called something like WWE Divas in the Desert. Lots of cheesecake bikini (and less) shots of Torrie, Trish, Stacy, etc. in the desert. In the center of the mag there was an insert with a coupon for I think a subscription or something, and on the insert was a nice pic of WWE Diva Nidia tied to a set of RR tracks by some guy. The thing was done for fun, advertising the mag or something, but looked kinda neat. She was on her side, facing the camera, hands tied in front of her, bare feet tied, in a bikini, while the guy was reaching over her. She had a smile on her face & wasn't in any peril obviously but it was still a pretty cool pic.
The mag was killer also, if you like seeing all the WWE honeys in various stages of undress (man I'd love to see Trish Stratus or Torrie Wilson as a guest on one of those action shows & send up in ropes!) I"ve noticed, while the numbers of wrestling ladies who guest star on other shows isn't huge, the number of them who end up tied & gagged isn't bad. I can think of 3 offhand (Chyna, Ivory, & Lita) who have been guests on action shows & 2 of the 3 have ended up tied & gagged. Not bad at all actually!!! |
