One of Steps singer was bound to chair (loosely) on FHM magazine. After "Distant Cousin", Mel Harris got the same "Home Invasion" role on "Dynamite". Her daughter in the movie also got hand gagged. Unfortunately her name is not mentioned in IMDB. What is the name of the actress? |

| There was talk a week or so back about Anna Paquin tied & gagged in something called "Darkness". I must have missed that totally...what is "Darkness"? Is this some new movie or series or what? If a movie, is it in theatres, or a direct-to-video, or one of those "only seen in England or Canada" things? thanks anyone |

| The previews for next week's ER shows a guy grabbing Maura Tierney, and perhaps putting a hand over her mouth. Unlikely to produce a scene, but you never know.

| Anyone who's been around for longer than they'd care to think about knows that TV guide has a long and well documented history of misleading ads regarding our area of interest. Pam Hensley in the season opening episode of MATT HOUSTON. Rita Moreno in STRYKER. Kim Basinger in CAT & DOG. For those of you not young enough to remember JFK as president. All of the above are ad copy in the above publication showing a full treatment scene. None of which scene showed up in the actual episode. As a matter of fact a good question for posters is has a TV Guide ad in th4 above vein actually resulted in a real scene?

The Jamie Luner promo wasn't on the TV listings page but in the opening pages as a preview story, so we actually had Jamie B&G in color as opposed to the black and white TV listings section. But the photo of Jamie in TV Guide was from an angle we didn't see in the show, almost like it was taken from the right of the tub as opposed to in front. Guess that's where the photographer positioned himself. I'd also like to see that roll of film. |

The topic of the article was the release of the inane horror movie "Scream 2". Heather Graham was bound and gagged because she was purportedly a damsel in distress. The photgraph was most likely not faked, because her bonds and gag were definitely not very tightly secured, and looked like they were about to fall off. |

I don't know if you want to include this, but Julia Louis-Dreyfus was once gagged with a turkey leg on a Saturday Night Live sketch. It was a Thanksgiving episode which included either Dennis or Randy Quaid as another cast member. I saw it on Comedy Central last year, and it will probably show up again. |

To escape from the dungeon, they'd be unable to recite an incantation together, because of the gagged one. And even coming up with a plan together would be difficult: The ear-plugged one isn't used to reading the lips of the blindfolded one; The gagged one could not communicate fully by either nodding or shaking her head (which the blindfolded one couldn't see), or by a one-grunt, two-grunts or Morse code methods (which the ear-plugged one couldn't hear)... If I was the scriptwriter, an approach I'd consider is that the way they'd come up with to communicate: * Blindfolded sister states her proposal; * Gagged sister uses Sign language to the Ear-plugged sister, to both communicate the proposal, plus her thoughts; * Ear-plugged sister conveys the gagged sister's reply plus her own thoughts, back to the blindfolded sister. |

I rewatched several times and tried freeze frame on both of the scenes where she's shown sideways.. I'm pretty sure I saw her lips both times. It looked like there might be a bruise or welt at the edge of here mouth, so I'd conclude no tape. |

Kim Bassinger did receive full treatment, though the tape was quickly ripped off her mouth. btw, I saved the TV Guide ad. I believe the picture may have been not of Bassinger, but guest star Jennifer Shaw who received treatment at the beginning of the show. I'll have to dig it out and check. Also, I'll either try to upload it here or pass it on to someone who can. |

Highly doubt if there are any others of better quality - this was in the days of VCR infancy - I remember this series - ran for only 6 episodes at the most and was basically a spinoff vehicle for Randolph Mantooh who was all the rage at the time for the EMERGENCY 911 series - a GOOD scene though - I'D LOVE TO SEE IT ORIGINAL. |

I also have a poor quality copy that I purchased from Chivalry Video years ago. I don't know if TV trading forums still exist, but you might have better luck finding a decent quality recording from someone who actually collected these episodes for something other than tie-up scene. |

She's wearing a very tight cotton/spandex white tank and white pants. I'm going to hold out hope that they come to rescue her and she's gagged at the end not just drugged, which would be boring and too similar to last weeks drugged ending. This is a stylish show and a gag would make this scene a minor classic, imho. |

| I just received this monyh's issue of Maxim magazine, and in the "Ask Dr. Maxim" feature, there is a photograph of the bikini-clad Dr. Maxim, a gorgeous brunette, with her equally gorgeous assistant, a strawberry blonde, tied to a bedframe. The bedframe is upright, and the damsel's wrists and ankles are bound with red cloth. If my memory serves me correctly, she's wearing a miniskirt and a halter top that bares her midriff and no bra. |
