This sort of thing is off-topic. I'll start deleting

She Spies
Did anybody catch it? I believe this was supposed to be cleave gag time for Ms. Henstridge, and I just missed it here...

She Spies Comes Through
Natasha gets it in the last scene before the epilogue. Tied to a chair with chains and cleave-gagged with a brightly coloured scarf. Not overly tight but she does some mmphing. I think the scene was played for laughs. Notice the jumpcut as the gag was around her neck too quickly after she was untied.

british 50s drama
scenes from two british films - early 50s - low budget - black & white
film 1 - one player recalled -- sydney tafler
two men have forced their way into a hotel room. occupant elswhere. they hear a noise at the door and hide. the maid enters to attend the bed. tafler creepes up behind and handgaggs her, telling her to be quiet. (scene change)
when we return the maid is tied to a chair, hands behind, blindfolded but not gagged. the two men stay for a short while. as they leave tafler clevegaggs her saying 'I'm sorry about this' leaving her bound, gagged, blindfolded and struggling as the camera moves away.
film 2 - no players names recalled -- scene could be in the room of a house or a barge-type boat.
there are two people. a bald, middle aged man and a young girl, early 20s. both tied to chairs, hands behind. the man is tapedgagged the girl is not. also in the room, their captors. two or three men and a middle age woman wearing a tweed suit (jacket and skirt) the men depart leaving the woman to guard the prisoners. shortly an intruder enters brandishing a gun beckoning the woman away. (scene change)
when we return the captives are still tied to their chairs as before but there's no sign of the intruder or their minder. the girl begins to struggle, carfuly trying to work loose the rope around her wrists, talking quietly as she does so.
'I - I think i've got it. just a little more. i'ts almost--'
as it turned out she made no progress and the men return. one asks where their minder has gone. she refuses to answer.
she is asked again, but still remains silent. 'very well' he says 'if that's the way you want to play' he peels of a strip of white surgical tape and tapegagges her.
right at the end of the film the men are discussing the whereabouts of their companion. one opens a closet door and there she is. amongst the bric-a brac, bound, gagged and struggling like hell.

can anybody put a title to these very 50s british bondage scenes

I have caps of the scene at my site.

I've also just added The Transporter to the Shu Qi section.

That's two straight weeks with slipups in the tying and untying sequences. At least they're trying. Have to say the chain looked kinda lame for that type of scene. Look how long it is, and her hands don't look too secure. I have to wonder why they go to that much trouble with a chain when they could easily rope or tape her hands to the arms of the chair like in the other episodes.

Also, we don't see the show here until Monday morning. Were there any closeups of Natasha during the fight scene or is the preview scene from the side angle all we get in the episode?

Dumb Luck on Showtime
While looking through the great guide of TV shows for this week, I noticed that the film "Dumb Luck" is going to air tomorrow on Showtime at 11a.m. Pacific time. This one has been mentioned here before- there is apparently a scene with Tracy Nelson bound and gagged. I wanted to post this here for those of you who get Showtime and may be able to catch this one. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like it will be on again for at least another two weeks.

She spies scene.
Natasha had a few close ups with some gag talk. In a few close-ups, it appears that she was tightly cleaved, compared to the side views.

Thank PRW
Hey PRW, I just wanted to thank you for the Mary Higgins Clark's Before I say goodbye alert. I never even knew about this one. All I know is that if there was a list for actresses who absolutely NEED to be gagged, Sean Young would be near the very top in my opinion, if for no other reason, out of sheer obnoxiousness. Great mmping and struggling too. Although she is not my favorite, I have to say this was one of the better scenes I have come across in a very long time. Kudos to you my friend.

Other candidates that top my "highly annoying actresses who NEED to be gagged" list are:

Julia Roberts
Brandy Norwood
Jennifer Lopez (a.k.a. Hennifa Lopeth)
Jenny McCarthy (still!)

Not necessarily in that order.

My pleasure, TS. I would have missed it myself the first time had someone else not alerted me to it. I agree, it was quite a scene! Definitely more than the "blink and you'll miss it" variety.

Falcon Crest?
Anyone have any idea if the tie-and-gag scene from this show is coming up anytime soon? There was talk a few months ago that the episode should air sometime in April. I never watched the show when it was on the air & have no idea as to what goes on in it. Anyone have the skinny on this one?

JP,

I've been keeping an eye on this one. Laurel Schaefel, the actress someone mentioned having a scene in FC, appeared in 16 episodes according to TVTome. All of the episodes are in the season currently airing on SoapNet. Eight of the episodes have already aired. So far, nothing.

In case anyone else is interested, here are the titles of the eight remaining episodes. All of them air this week. Personally, I'm losing interest. If the scene was all that great, someone else would know something about it.

"When the Bough Breaks" 4/28
"The Cradle Will Fall" 4/28
"A Piece of Work" 4/29
"Dance of Deception" 4/30
"Battle Lines" 5/1
"Nowhere to Run" 5/1
"Cold Hands" 5/2
"Body and Soul" 5/2

Law and Order CSI pops
The 10 pm ep of Law and Order CSI (there were two showings tonight, one at 9 p.m. one at 10 p.m.-- nothing in the first showing) popped with a very nice, very plot-germane woman in chains scene.

The cops are trying to crack the stories of two sisters whom they believe committed a horrible murder. So they rig things so a wealthy benefactor provides a sharp attorney for one sister while the other gets the stupidest pro bono lawyer on the planet.

This sets up a scene where one sister is being whisked away to freedom while the other sits chained to a bench in a holding cell and watches her leave. Her wrists are cuffed together in front of her and a huge honkin's chain is cuffed to the underside of the steel bench she sits on. There are several shots of her sitting there in chains watching her sister being shepherded away while chained and helpless and being needled by a detective.

Of course, it would have been a LOT more dramatically effective if the woman's hands had been cuffed behind her back, but with the huge chain and the dramatic nature of the situation it was pretty darned effective as things were. Worthy of a Lifetime Channel scene.

No gag, of course -- they WANTED her to talk.
