Happy anniversary to you
Speaking of anniversaries, I almost forgot about it this year! Six years ago today (well still in the Central) the following message was sent out to the world:

=========================================================
I have started up a page dedicated to discussion on the
topic of bondage scenes from mainstream media. The page
doesn't have a lot to it yet (I only worked on it for a
few hours so far), but it does have forums for posting
about trades, VCR alerts, and general discussion.

This is not a porn page, there aren't any graphics (at the
moment), and I'm not selling anything. I just want to have
a place for people interested in a specialized subject to
communicate.

I'd be happy if you'd check it out, and please feel free
to give me some feedback, either by email or posting a
message on the discussion page.

=========================================================

Happy anniversary to all of you! As always, that's because YOU make this page what it is.

Rock the f*** on! This site and Van's were instrumental in allowing me to feel like that much less of a freak, and part of a (well, somewhat) bigger group. Thanks for that, and so many great links that emerged over the years.

It seems like a short time ago when I saw this message last year.

I will also take this opportunity to post about a possible future scene.

In the new show "Lucky" on FX, I'm pretty sure there's going to be some action fairly quickly. And it should be someone damn attractive!

The show starts in early April.

I don't know if anyone else has posted about this already.

Possible Canadian Alert?
Did any other northern fellas watch tonight's SexTV ep on CITY channel?

Just caught abit on CP24 channel re-air,
featured Brinke Stevens interview with scenes from Slave Girls From Beyond Infinity.
She relates how she found her chained up scenes in the film highly erotic, and enjoyed them, etc.
If more?
Like to get a decent VHS machine alert up for CITY channel's 11:30pm re-air for tonight.
Thanx

Sounds like thier's a chance that LFB will get tied up. Hope she's wearing her usual corporate outfit with black pantyhose and a super tight cleve gag. She's just begging for this type of scene!!

Happy Anniversary to you too Brian! Just like Marlboro Man I felt I was the only one who had this kind of fetish. Thanks to this page and all of the numerous vidcap and vidclip sites I now know that I'm not alone in this. So Thank You Brian for a wonderful page and for making a lot of people feel a lot less weird about this interest of ours :)

Happy Anniversary to Brian. When it comes to DID's you are the man and this site is the people's site that should be cherished.
I think it might be interesting to create a chronological history of Did sites on the Internet with contributions by your fans.

Thank you Brian, for conceiving and creating this Webpage dedicated to this controversial and often incendiary topic. Your page is truly an original and wonderful creation. The database of bondage scenes in mainstream media is an unprecedented and unparalleled achivement whose value is incalculable.
I find it reassuring that there are so many others whose thoughts are so closely, and sometimes identically, aligned with mine.

Happy Anniversary Brian!
I just wanted to add my voice to the chorus of well-wishers. I'd also like to thank Brian for the tolerance & good-humor with which he routinely accomplishes the semi-thankless task of hosting this site. You keep Mr. Moderator on a tight leash, but don't hesitate to let him *loose* when needed. The result has been an *international*, civilized forum, a *salon* (in the original meaning of the word), a place we can all discuss our common interest in the Damsel-in-Distress free from commercialism.

Well done, Brian! Well done fellow forum members!

Let's *all* rededicate ourselves to the spirit of polite discourse that has made this site a success.

I basically agree with kinkynapper. I would add though that if the scne shows a glimpse of a gag under the hood, it would certainly count as a gag scene, and if mmmphing was undisputedly eminating from the hood it should probably count as a scene.

I'm just thinking of the Gwendoline movie, where the director said in an interview "We're coming to terms with this idea of bondage," and all we got was a lame OTM gag and a bunch of nude extras in exotic poses in the background.

You people paying attention???
First, let me congratulate Brian on The Anniversary. Without 'The Page', I would be asea.

Second, I have to ask whether I was the only one paying attention Saturday when "Mutant X" delivered an episode that may become Holy Grail material for those celebrating future anniversaries of 'The Page'.
Gag Snobs will point out that that element was missing from the mix, but anyone who wasn't WOWed by Vicki P.'s predicament and performance is asking for too much from any network. Particularly about 20 minutes in in the first scene showing her captivity, she did some impressive struggling while pretty inescapably restrained. And in that she was being pumped for info in a setting where it didn't matter if she screamed, gaggage really wasn't called for.
A tight blouse, tight restraints, heartfelt struggling, a DiD to remember...!!!...It was all there people!!!

I took a pass on Mutant X this week because it looked like an ep that aired earlier where Vicky is restrained with some lame tubing that looked like it would slip off of its own accord if she struggled at all.

Thank you for singing out about this ep. That's the way to make sure the good ones get noticed, post to the page and let others know about them.

I must agree. Although there has always been plenty of commerical bondage material around, I never imagined that so many other people were into collecting mainstream scenes. Then I stumbled upon this site about 5 years ago and I've been lurking ever since. Thanks very much Brian for your page and all the work you have put into it over the years.

Looks like the episode in question is called "Sign from Above," and the good news is that anyone who gets WGN will have a couple more chances to see it next weekend. (I'll add the alerts in a moment.)

Thieves - it should still be going.
Have just signed on to this ite for the first time and find it absolutely facinating and congratulate you on the amount of work that has gone into this.

I have been an avid fan of TV scenes for many a year.

From what I have read, the caper "Thieves" was a situation with much promise. 2 "Moonlighting" types working on both sides of the Law. No gratutious violence, a little bit of fighting but due to the nature of their inherited occupation, bondage has become a tool of the trade (rolls of duct tape as much a necessity as their leather gloves and masks). This is obviously shown in the premier episode when they tape up a lady while carrying out a robbery.

I would have added a nice little twist to the story "Long Con" the clerk of the shop whcih they rob says while the act take place "aren't you going to tie me up !" to which Melissa George could have replied "of course we can sweety" as She calmly unwinds about a yard of duct tape and continues "now please find yourself a seat !".

I would love to correspond, you could get me by E Mail also if you would like.

Re: Happy Anniversary Brian!
Actually, Marlboro Man pretty much summed up my feelings as well...down to the same 2 sites that got me going...yours & Van's. I remember finding Van's site totally by accident & he had a link to your brand new (at the time) page...it seemed that it was hosted (or something) but something called "Dreambook" or something like that (so long ago I can't remember exactly). I was so surprised to find that other guys out there got into mainstream scenes...most of the guys (and gals) who I knew liked bondage scenes were all into the commercial, more "hardcore" sex-and-bondage stuff. I also remember reading some old Alerts that day & seeing how many recent scenes I'd missed!!!
This page has really been a blessing and I'd glad I found it so early in it's conception...it's been a real trip seeing how it has evolved, who has come & gone (remember Grumpy, Anon, Gagster...?), and not to mention all the countless scenes I wouldn't have that I got either because of the alerts or to the many folks I've met & traded scenes with.
This page is really great....Brian you rock! (that mean ol' Moderator guy is okay too! :-)

Yeah, same drill, so I guess this can be kind of a Van love-fest too (loved your site, Van! Giggle!). Same with the now-departed Grumpy. Heck, remember Marty's DID page? First place I ever saw caps of Jacqueline Collen from Sinbad, which I haven't seen much of since (HINT HINT HINT to all you guys with pages, since I'm lazy and greedy). The anniversary of this page always does remind me of the casualties since about 96 or so, seems a tribute to them is in order, too.

I am from UK and know of She Spies and belive there have been nuemrous episodes. Am I correct - I know there are 3 Girls so I assume that there have been numerous "tight spots". What approx was the ratio of programmes with the Girls Fastened up as oppose to no Bondage. Also can you help if there was any situations where a girl was duct taped to a chair - one of my favourite scenes !

oh that one is a repeat & I'm pretty sure its already in...
personally I HATED that scene
she's one of the most beautiful, perfect women out there & they could even be bothered to actually tie her

if that scene was on Peanuts it would have been leaning on Shroeders piano

It was like Charlies Angel 2 with out Cameron & Drew

When they came in to rescue her they should have said

Sometimes it seems like I'm spending every waking moment on the computer.. between tending my site and all the places an old horndog like myself likes to check out..under the guise of keeping up with the competition, ya understand, LOL!

But no matter how many times a day I log in and log out, there is one site that I always go to first. Always.

And I'm writing now to wish that site, and its creator a very Happy Anniversary!! And best wishes for many, many more!

We had this report from Lenny S on March 13:

"Television Week & various other Media outlets are reporting that "She Spies" has been renewed for a second season."

Hmmm. Varying reports from varying sources. Wonder which is right?
