Friday March 07 01:01:41 2003 Candy Snatchers |
I finally finished capping this, will have it up on saturday. Let me just say that this was NOT an easy scene to cap. The only one that gave me more grief than this was Invasion of the Girl Snatchers.
I have to say it was a great scene. Of course it's famous for it's rarity more than it's quality, but was worth the month it took to track a copy down. Great scenes all around for Susan Sennett who is tied and gagged almost the entire film, and it was a pretty good horror movie too. Not for the claustrophobic tho. |

Lez do it! This week: Vali Ashton in that *other* scene from Die Watching, Heather Thomas in The Fall Guy "The Huntress," Amanda McBroom in Hawaii Five-O "Tour De Force, Killer Abroad," Leelee Sobieski in Joy Ride (back by popular demand), and Veronica Yip in Three Days Of A Blind Girl.

Friday March 07 05:33:41 2003 John Doe and Fastlane for Friday, March 7 |
> "John Doe" preview for Friday shows a female tied hands above on some sort of forklift. Very quick shot, so I couldn't see much. Usual script: Doe chasing a serial killer.
Also, my TV Guide lists the same "Fastlane" promo for March 7 and March 14, with the March 14 listing saying postponed from an earlier date. ------------ TV Guide magazine's episode descriptions: John Doe: "A self-proclaimed psychic who provides leads to missing women also has something to say about Doe, who determines why she knows about the crimes." Fastlane: "Van and Deaq are up in arms after Billie assigns them to protect the uppity, annoying daughter (Mischa Barton) of an an ex-arms dealer." As the first poster noted, this same episode description is listed for both the March 7th & 14th shows. |

Thanks for the info. It sounds like an interesting little scene. I wonder about the historical accracy of the nudity, though. Doesn't jive with my understanding of the times, though -- cant' see those Pilgrims stripping women naked in public, hell, I don't think they were much for PRIVATE nudity, even when bathing. Still, those olden days can surprise ya. Like the casual attitude about slaveowners taking comely slave women as mistresses, re: Thomas Jefferson. The Rebellious Scold sounds like a candidate for the metal gag known as the Scold's Bridle. Wonder if they were in use in the U.S.? DB might know... |

From my local Fox affiliate "On 3/6, FOX Network will air a special "FOX's Funniest Outtakes" from 8-9 PM." They said nothing about the 9-10 PM slot so who knows Yahootv.com search function is down and tvguide.com has not updated schedule to relect this change. |

> The Rebellious Scold sounds like a candidate for the
> metal gag known as the Scold's Bridle. Wonder if they > were in use in the U.S.? DB might know... “Salem Witch Trials” aired over here a few weeks ago. It wasn’t bad, but could have been improved by having slightly less senior women indicted of witchcraft, and by using high intensity halogen lighting in the town cells so you could actually see the prisoners writhing and wailing in their chains. Regarding the scold’s bridle, as far as I know the records show that the bridle was in use in the colonies, but was often improvised using a cleft stick, or bit gag a la “Scarlet Letter”. The only other instance of its use was as a slave punishment/instrument of control to prevent slaves from eating (when working in their master’s kitchens, for example). This was demonstrated in the TV mini-series “A Respectable Trade”. Talking of the bridle, we had a very rare sighting of the equipment in use in a TV series called “Dangerville” (suspiciously close to “Murderville” of Avengers fame IMHO) where a young woman transported back to the Middle Ages was being to forced to marry a king against her will. She objected, so what’s a monarch to do? Answer - see pic. http://someguyhere.0catch.com/Uploads/0207064017_55.jpg And finally, unless I imagined it, I heard of some chain action in the latest series of “Buffy”. Can anyone enlighten me? |

Friday March 07 10:10:57 2003 Re: Disappointing scenes? |
Leelee Sobieski's scene was a disappointment because of the stupid Saran Wrap gag. A cleave or even duct tape would have made the scene a killer (or at least if she had closed her lips and faked it). |
Friday March 07 11:05:47 2003 Return to the Batcave: The Misadventures of Adam and Burt (2003) |
This is on CBS Mar 09 09:00pm EST 120 Mins.

After solving a puzzle, they realize that the clues to finding the fiend who stole the Batmobile, is hidden in their past. As they think back, flashbacks recreate how they were cast on the series to their sexual escepades. Ultimately they find the Batmobile, but get caught in the villains lair. Tied to a bomb, will Adam and Burt get out in time? See IMDB llink below |

Friday March 07 11:21:04 2003 The Ole' Cleave Gag Face Warp |
I'm a fan of the cleave gag, but every now and then it can warp the face and ruin a good scene - whether it is tied to tight or one of those half cleave/ half over the mouthers.
Anyone else notice this occasionally? I rented "Watchful Eye" and the girl was a cute, sexy little twenty something and sure enough she got tied up and briefly cleaved. However the cleave made it look like she had no chin and was a lot older and chubbier for some reason. It should have been a killer scene, but instead it took away from her looks. Anyone who is a fan of the cleave have a similar scene? I'm a gag snob but I have to admit sometimes gags screw up the woman's looks and yet others look awesome. |

> > > Heres a couple of caps of the other scene with Kelly
> > > > Brown, and a clip. > > I always recorded that show because of the possiblities that existed. Both Kelly Brown and Christine Taylor were constantly wearing bandanas around their necks, so I knew something could happen at any second if someone tried to gag 'em, although I was hoping for Kelly Brown. I thought Brown was super hot and headed for stardom when that show wrapped, yet it was Christine Taylor who became a star. Apparently, Brown has fallen out of show business altogether, with no credits listed since "Hey Dude" in 1992. Very surprising. Even the males on the show have turned up in various network shows. Some also asked this week about Christine Taylor's scene. It was the last episode they filmed (interesting), and it was very brief. She was dressed in a red sweatsuit. When the two guys enter the room, they hear mppffing in the dark. They turn the lights on and Christine, tied hands and feet and cleave-gagged with a blue bandana, hops across the room mffpping some more as she falls on the bed. She's quickly ungagged. Only mid-range shots of her in the scene, but not too bad if you like Christine. There was also an episode where both Christine and Kelly are blindfolded for an extended period of time in another challenge event in the desert. They were not restrained, however, but it was still a nice scene. |

Thanks to whoever it was who just made a new DB entry on this one.
I downloaded some caps from it recently, but couldn't identify it (Movie and actress name) before I saw your entry. I totally agree, one of the best scenes I ever saw. Very convincing ropework and lots of struggling! She is even gagged. |

Friday March 07 14:16:07 2003 Orient, CCTV |
>Murder on Orient Express.
IIRC the flashback occur on the last 30 minutes, when Det. Hercule Poirot revealed the killer. CCTV, the official Chinese TV (Beijing) had expanded its transmission to UK (BSkyB) and US (Time Warner Cable). The present program is only news without english sub title / translation. But they promise new Entertainment channel soon. Perhaps they will show more did scenes with "Arm in front and stuff gag!" |

Friday March 07 14:50:33 2003 Bound Blondes from Soap Operas |
I am looking for pics of the following damsels from the following soaps:
1) Lisa(As The World Turns)- She was wearing a green suit when she was kidnapped. She was tied up on a chair with her hands behind her and her feet tied to the legs of the chair. 2) Carly(As The World Turns)- She was a prisoner in her own home. She was wearing black clothes, her hnds were tied in front of her, her feet were tied together, and rope was wrapped around her strapping he to the cahir she was sitting on. After making a call for help, her captor gagged her and I think she had her hands tied behind her. 3) Maggie(The Bold And The Beautiful)- This one was kidnapped by a security guard and she was tied to a chair. She wore a blue suit, her hands and I think her feet were tied up and she was cleave-gagged. If anyone has pics of any or all of these bound blondes, let me know on this discussion page. I can wait for a reply, but I've had thoughts of these women for years and it's driving me nuts. Let me know ASAP |
Friday March 07 14:51:07 2003 Re: Disappointing scenes? |
One scene I found to be particularly disappointing was Daisy Fuentes' appearance on "Angeles". At no time does she act the least little bit like a damsel... instead, she's just pissed off, like she's going to kick her captor's ass once she gets loose. I'm sure that works for some people, but instead it seemed to diminish the idea that she may actually be in any kind of danger -- she's not at all afraid of her abductor, or maybe supremely annoyed that she had to do a bondage scene.

Friday March 07 14:57:03 2003 Return to the Batcave |
For all you 1960's tv Batgirl fans out there (and who isn't on this board) this movie will be on CBS Sunday night. Erin Carufel will portray a young Yvonne Craig. On the official site, there's a nice clip called "It's Batgirl" of her in black tights doing flips before she has some dialogue with the actor playing a young Adam West. Here's hoping there may be a scene (most likely brief) of Batgirl in bondage.

Friday March 07 15:26:12 2003 Old Tape Gags |
Does anyone ever wonder what ever happens to the tape gags that actresses wear? Do they just throw them out after they're done or what? I think they should keep the tape and auction it off on E-Bay. I would pay lots to own the strip of tape that Kate Winslet wore over her mouth in The Life of David Gale, or the strip of tape that the cute Janne Campbell had over her pretty lips in Cold Heart. |

Friday March 07 15:27:43 2003 Re: Disappointing scenes? |
Easy. Lucy Lawless in Xena. Take a hot warrior princess, use a lousy (IMO) cleave gag, put her in a stupid costume and generally conspire to make her as ugly as possible. Oh yeah, and have her make noises like a farm animal. And have the scene be like 10 seconds long. See what I mean? Man, that show sucked.

The blond had some nice hand gag and bondage scenes however. I agree about Lucy. Buffy has to be about the most disappointing show to me but it did spawn Angel and that has an all time great scene. i.e. parting gifts |

One scene I found to be particularly disappointing was
Daisy Fuentes' appearance on "Angeles". I agree , she was so hot in that calendar and her scene just sucked. Bad lighting and her hair was a mess. Sometimes the hair really makes a big difference ! As a photographer I have scene it many times. It is like a magic switch when they fix there hair. |

Except for the bandanas, I don't have a single gag from any of the actresses in my movies, and I've gagged over a dozen women so far. Trust me, they wouldn't keep a strip of tape. It would have no value to them. |

Has it been productive, didcapwise? Was there a lot more to the scene you capped by than the didcap indicates? > And finally, unless I imagined it, I heard of some chain > action in the latest series of “Buffy”. Can anyone enlighten me? Yeah, there was, but it wasn't much. Buffy was chained at the wrists by a bunch of mystical guardian types so they could give her magic powers or something to that effect. It was shot in weird bluish light because it was in an otherworldly location. The didcap below was converted to a black and white image because there just isn't that much difference between a grayscale and a color image here. The chains were tight but place so that she coudl move her hands easily, taking a lot of drama out of it. She does some struggling with the chains, but not much. |

Friday March 07 18:29:49 2003 Angel |
It might have been my imagination, but it looked like Angel used some kind of stun gun on Faith in the preview for next week. The ground has been set for a big confrontation between them since she told Wes that she could never kill Angel since he didn't give up on her. So he will do something awful and she will have the opportunity to kill him and have to overcome her rage. Usually he would kill one of her loved ones, but I don't think she has any (after all these years, I could practically write this stuff myself). So perhaps he'll capture her, yada yada... |

I pre-sell them to customers with a standing order, which is why models get gagged and regagged in my vids.. naked commerce. Many many long years ago (before Atlantis sank into the sea, when bison roamed the Great Plains as countless as the very stars, & before geocities sold its soul to The Evil Yahoo) I used to have a web site named "Van's Vidcap Vault," & in it I made a joke about how Alexandra Paul had a No Gag Clause in her "Baywatch" contract. If I caused all this Clause crap... OH GOD I'M SORRY!!!
Anyway... Alexandra couldn't even get a "I get to wear a jacket over my wet swimsuit in the middle of freakin' winter" clause in her contract. There are a lot of beautiful, talented, & *busy* actresses who NEVER get a good DiD-scene. It happens. Deal with it. :-) |

The next time you're considering posting to Brian's group about how we're going through a DiD-drought or how they don't B&G 'em like they used to, etc. ...here's a game you should play.
Get hold of a magazine... any magazine... but one with lots of pictures of movie stars (Movieline, Entertainment Weakly, US, InStyle (*especially* InStyle)), & start turning the pages. For every actress you see who has been B&G'd in a movie or TV show-----2 POINTS! For every actress who has been bound but not gagged-----1 POINT! Each actress only counts once. (Three different pictures of Heather Locklear is still only 2 POINTS.) Add up your total... & that's it! Seriously, you'll be amazed at how high the total can go! :-) |
