Nothing. She wasn't kidnapped, just hiding out. |

Those "bonds" did look seriously unconvincing, all right; I mean, I bought some rope light for parties, but I don't think I'd try to use it to tie someone up... |

Monday March 17 03:41:01 2003 Nancy Drew CD |
I was in CompUSA today buying a few uneccessary toys for this box that consumes so much of my life. AQns I noticed that in the reduced-games bin, for 9.99 there were two interactive Nancy Drew games. It appeared you would either play the role of Nancy, or provide her with which way to follow the story line.
Has anybody checked this out? I was not in a position to buy it with the company I had so I thought Id try to find out from the experts first. one of the two story lines was definatly about a kidnapping (though it looked like you were supposed to thwart it) Cleve |

Monday March 17 05:00:41 2003 One False Move: TAU & Black Actress |
I just saw "One False Move" . an extremely violent movie.
Early on the movie, during a robbery, 4 black actress bound (hogtied), tape gagged (around their head) and one of them was hooded (and stabbed to death). Unfortunately the Dids are killed. The rest of movie is really boring (and disgusting). Is this a version of TAU scenes with black actress? |

Monday March 17 08:21:53 2003 Port Charles - Did Everyone Miss It? |
Just saw 2 seconds of a scene from Port Charles on Soapnet at about 8:24 AM EST, so not sure when this aired originally. Blonde cleave-gagged with thick white cloth. I missed the lead up, so no idea when it started, Some cheesy plot about vampires and she was in a cave.

Based on the re-cap posted on ABC's Port Charles site, it is likely the blonde in the scene is "Elizabeth" played by Rebecca Staab...the scene appears to be over. |

Monday March 17 10:28:58 2003 Bringing Down The House |
I saw the movie over the weekend and there's a scene where Queen Latifah and Eugene Levy break into a rich woman's mansion. When the woman asks 'Julia? Julia? Where's Julia?', Queen Latifah says 'She's all tied up at the moment'.
Unfortunately there were no scenes with 'Julia' but perhaps it'll turn up on the DVD under the 'Deleted' category. |

Monday March 17 10:33:13 2003 Brian's Site |
Can I add my slightly belated congratulations to Brian for his fortitude in running this indispensable meeting place and treasure trove of information? Like a few other “old timers” I remember discovering Brian’s shortly after it was founded, and discussing it with Van at a time when he was considering launching his own site. Some of you might even remember “Ironed Maidens” as a guest page on VVV, prior to becoming a full site.
In congratulating Brian, I’d like to extend my appreciation to all of the other d-i-d site owners, doing a great (largely unpaid) job. As anyone who has run a site knows, it’s hard work! Thanks Brian. Thanks, guys. |

Monday March 17 12:36:47 2003 BBFO Sweet Sixteen |
Hope this isn't considered off-topic...I thought it was kinda cute.
-- BBFO HQ (AP) - The Sweet 16 have been decided and begin to battle this week. Within the tournament, the participants have also started raising the stakes. Natalie Portman was overeared saying, "We all like to say it was nice just to be in the tornament, but deep down there isn't one of us who doesn't want to take the title away from Sarah! Nicloe Kidman spoke of how last years tournament changed how she approached acting roles, "I think my performance in 'Birthday Girl' is definitely helping me this year in the tournament. It's my way of showing the group that I want to be their damsel queen and I can handle the responsiblities" Buffy co-star Alyson Hannigan speaking of last years BBFO winner, "Why should she (Sarah) have all the fun getting tied up and gagged by the BBFO Group?" "Alyon is right", added Michelle Trachtenberg, "Seeing Sarah on the set of Buffy, you wouldn't know that she was the BBFO Queen. Everytime there is a script calling for Buffy to be bound and gagged, Sarah never wants to do it. During those moments, I always let the writers know that I would be more than willing to be tied-up and gagged!" Sarah has her own spin on the tournament, "No one else gets it. The reason I win is because I don't over do it. I give them just a taste and leave them wanting more. The less I'm tied up on TV, the more the BBFO wants to see me. That's why I am their queen!" With the sweet 16 decided, the tounament moves on with no love loss between the remaining damsel hopefuls... --PnP |

> it > > is likely the blonde in the scene is "Elizabeth" played > > > by Rebecca Staab I actually noticed just last week Rebecca was on this show. I first noticed her way back in 1985 when in high school and she was in her late teens on "Guiding Light." I thought her and Kristy Tesreau (Mindy) were the two hottest females on television. Only reason I watched that show. Always wanted to see Rebecca as a DiD, but her two prior gag scenes were somewhat disappointing, especially her first one back in the early 1990s when bound and gagged on a bed in a tight orange dress in the PSI Luv U pilot movie on CBS. She was gagged with a small piece of white bandage tape with packing by Dee Wallace Stone. The tape barely fit over her lips. One of the worst gaggings I've ever seen but her struggling on the bed was excellent, although I didn't save the scene and it's never aired again. |

Her continual stare at Her captors caps in all off Yes. Very good scene. When it first aired, of course, I wanted Tracey Gold in that spot but she got the full treatment about a year later. Interesting twist was the very thin duct tape gag on Bess, not the standard wider strip. Movie often airs on USA Network and Lifetime. |

That in my opinion was one of the best "short" scenes i have ever saw on TV. Unfortunately i did not catch it either with the VCR, only the tail end of it when she comes out of the bedroom when she is rescued (untied) by Greg Evigan's character. I was hoping someone out there would have Vidcaps of this because this was a great scene. If i can remember the scene (which took place almost 12 years ago), the scene starts out with her tied feet struggling and then the camera zooms up her struggling body and shows her tied hands, she is squirming all over and that hot body of hers made it even more exicting to watch. Her outfit was absolutely stunning !! Dee Wallace' character comes in and peels the tape gag off of her and takes cotton balls out of her mouth and they exchange word with Dee Wallace' character even taunting Rebecca's and Rebecca's character getting angry and trying even harder to get untied, then Rebecca is tape gagged again this time without the cotton balls in her mouth. That's all i remember about that scene, i do not know if there was a scene beforehand with Rebecca tied up in tha movie, i sure would like to know and see it again. I also would like to know how she was kidnapped, if she was chloroformed or taken at gunpoint or what. Some feedback is always appreciated :) |

Some feedback is always appreciated :) It's amazing how these little scenes jar so many memories. When that movie pilot was listed, I made sure to watch it, not only for Rebecca Staab but for Connie Sellecca. The movie opens with Rebecca getting kidnapped from her apartment in the first five minutes. I don't recall how they knocked her out but I think it was a knockout punch. The problem from there is Rebecca wasn't shown again until 1:45 into the 2-hour movie (what a frecking wait that was!)when we see her squirming on the bed. I agree with you on the squirming. It was terrific and so was the pan shot from the feet up to the head, and the orange dress was super. But do you also remember that thin tape gag? It was just so absurd. I have never seen an actress gagged with the thin bandage tape. That's why I didn't save the scene, although I've always felt I made a big mistake there, especially since I've always had a thing for Rebecca Staab. I was so hoping for Connie Sellecca to find Rebecca in the bedroom and then have Dee Wallace come from behind and knock Connie out too. Wishful thinking. |

Rebecca was also tied up in an episode of "Walker, Texas Ranger" but they forgot the gag. That on the show with the best gag percentage out there. |

The rest of movie is > really boring (and disgusting). omigod...yes I've seen this one. It's is probably the only tie-and-gag scene I've recorded and never kept (and I'm a total completist usually). IIRC, the ladies are tied & tape gagged, and plastic bags are put over their heads & taped around the neck so we get to watch them SLOWLY suffocate to death. I remember it seeming VERY realistic. They kick & struggle, and really look like they (the actresses) are in major distress (and not the kind WE like either!). I also remember it being a very painful scene to watch. I believe one of the girls gets a bullet in the head thru a pillow instead of the plastic bag treatment. Some of the "avoid any pain, blood, or death-in-the-end to the damsel" folks definitely want to avoid this one. [shudder] kind of makes me feel creepy just writing about it. I have a major suffocation phobia. On the Port Charles scene...is anyone following the show at all who saw the scene? I just looked at the airing of it tonite (1 am central time)on the Soap Channel & the DirecTV menu guide synopsis says "Ian & Kevin try to save Elizabeth, Caleb tries to control his vampiric urges". That sounds rather like the description the poster gave for the scene he saw on SoapNet. I wonder if maybe the scene hasn't aired yet & may air tonite. Worth a look maybe....anyone know for sure? |

Actually Brain, do you have any more info about this scene.
Did we actually see poor Bess get taped up at any time or was it the roll of tape 1 scene and then fully bound the next. Also did she finish up struggling much and how did She get freed ? |

Did we actually see poor Bess get taped up at any time or was it the roll of tape 1 scene and then fully bound the next. Also did she finish up struggling much and how did She get freed? ---------- I remember when the promos for this TV movie came out. We hear the villain's voice saying "What's wrong with this picture?" (Jump cut to Bess Armstrong taped & gagged on the sofa in the foreground). My immediate reaction, "Not too much!" However, the taping is not seen onscreen. As I recall, Tracey Gold returns to her house, where the bad guys have her mother & brother b&g on the sofa. Later, the Police arrive, shots are fired, and the remaining bad guys in the house rush out with their guns. In the meantime, Armstrong and her son begin to wriggle a little. A policewoman is the first to enter the house, but we don't see her free the two. |

To Kinky naper thanks for your answer.
a little more information about the 2 duct tape bands around Bess ? They are so neat, symetrical and efficinent. any thoughts on them (ie how they were so efficiently fastened and how the tape shapes up behind her back). Monday March 17 21:59:56 2003 Most inescapable rope bondage? |
Excuse me for reposting this, but this thread seems to have been washed away in the shower of anniversary wishes, without any further movies having been added to the two I have mentioned:
Which scenes have featured the most realisticaly inescapable rope bondage? Offhand I can think of Anabella Sciorra's scene in Whispers in the Dark, and Jennifer Tilly and Gina Gershon in Bound. Happy anniversary Brian! |
