Saturday March 01 00:39:52 2003 Behind-the-scenes bondage |
I just saw the Virtual Prey "behind-the-scenes-featurette" clip from its web site and there's some cute takes from Bonnie Jill Laflin, specially at the end when she makes some kind of practice of "how to mmmmph on screen" and she ends with a boring and lame "mmmmph..." which was funny and directly reminded me that scene from Sarah Michelle Gellar in Scooby Doo-Behind the scenes from the DVD where the shots of her being gagged were much better than the movie itself.
I could imagine how does it feel seeing a gagged actress while filming a DID scene. I wish I could be a "crew member" and describe that moment while the director tries to explain the actress how to make that DID scene, besides the multiple "takes" they could make in order to get the preferred one. Also because we could see the actress being gagged several times and for an extended time due to the "cuts" and "scenarios". I would bring a camera to record all the time while the damsels is bound and gagged and maybe I could have a very-very-long DID scene. No doubt. Deoes anybody else know about other "behind-the-scenes" bondage DID's?? I think there's another one with Christina Marsillach and Dario Argento from "Terror at the Opera". Here's the web address: http://www.virtualprey.com |

Okay, cool. > However, understand > that the topic is very volatile. I do understand that, which was why I asked you before posting if it was okay. Hey I know what you think being there is so great but in my exp it is looking at the results that is best and you get to do that to. I just released a couple videos and I know when I shot them it was much more fun to view them after cause in a creative mode you often go into a dream MRI state etc. Any way I imagine most people on the sets for TV and movies that like this stuff are more interested in getting good footage and lighting then anything else. Good gaging etc all.I know it sounds off key ,but I have found it to be true for my self anyway.

Yeah, that's a tough one. I try to go out of my way to try and make sure that outsiders understand my site better and don't misconstrue our community as being pro-violence... I'm afraid that including "Speck" on my list would be counter-productive to that goal. But the truth is, a tied-up babe is a tied-up babe... the fact that the actresses in "Speck" are reinacting something horrible doesn't change the fact that they're actresses and their tied up and therefore there is visual appeal. It's a very touchy subject. :/ On a slightly lighter note... extremely thin cleave gags have always been a favorite of mine, effective or no. It's funny... ineffective bondage will ruin a scene for me but an ineffective gag doesn't. Ah, the many mysteries of kinkiness... :) |

I’ll never fully decry any show that features large-breasted babes in tiny bikinis, but the new Baywatch film was a real exercise in frustration (Like the series itself for most of it's run.) for a gag-snob like me. I mean, all those bondage-filled death traps and not ONE gag?
That’s just being mean and ornery. The writers should have watched the old Adventures of Superman episode where all of Supe’s friends are placed in death traps. Lois, the SBIQ (Series Babe In Question) is placed out in the middle of nowhere tied to railroad tracks and GAGGED. Why is she gagged? No real logical reason, except that she’s the SBIQ and that’s THE RULE. Or should be anyway. |

Saturday March 01 09:52:25 2003 Baywatch Hawaiian Wedding 2003; a Charlie's Angels Reunion storyline |
> I mean, all those bondage-filled death traps and not ONE gag?... The writers should have watched the old Adventures of Superman episode where all of Supe’s friends are placed in death traps.
-------- Yeah, I'll have to admit that seeing Carmen Electra, Yasmine Bleeth, and Nicole Eggert Gagged & mmphing away would have been Mah-velous. But given that the predicaments HAD to take place in water (so the other lifeguards could put aside their differences and do something useful) standard TV-gags would've been difficult to script. E.g., Cleave or OTM cloth gags would've just gotten soggy, and a Tape gag would've caused the captives to drown before he could make Mitch suffer. I guess specialty gags (e.g., an all Rubber bit-gag would've been too risque for an 8:00PM network TV movie). But I'll try to be content with a half-filled glass. We should show some appreciation for the writers expending so much time on such DiD elements as: * The Buildup * The Stalking of each DiD * The Capture * Unique Bondage situations I mean, the writers/director paid more detail to the above DiD elements and filming the bondage predicaments, than they did on just about anything on the TV series (well, other than the custom swimsuit designs for each female lifeguard). And I noticed that three different binding materials were utilized: Chains, then Handcuffs, and lastly Rope. Given the use of Bondage predicaments as a key to a "Reunion" movie, made me wish that "Charlie's Angels" had utilized a similar storyline to "Reunion" movie (say, in the late-1980's). One or more of Charlie Townsend's old enemies is released from jail, and begin tracking down Kelly, Sabrina, Jill, and Kris -- who have now moved on to other jobs (well, maybe one still works as a Townsend Agency PI). Just as in the Baywatch reunion movie, one by one each is stalked, then kidnapped onscreen. The four are "reunited" -- but kept B&G'd, and imperilled in some sort of deathtrap (say, handcuffed, chained and wired to the TV-standard "bomb"). It's to force Charlie Townsend out of retirement to race against time, test his detective and specialty skills, and rescue his former Angels. When he finally tracks them down, he's confronted by: * Four damsels (each of whom still look Great, of course) frantically mmphing away. * The reason they're mmphing and rolling their eyes is that their Restraints and Gags are linked to the bomb. It'll have to be disarmed by Charlie, before he can even think about freeing them! * Because he doesn't have the keys to their handcuffs, Charlie will have to show them his "legendary" speed lockpicking skill. The real "Payoff" for the Reunion movie, is that at the end of the rescue, the Angels FINALLY come face-to-face with their mysterious employer (and to hug each other, which they weren't able to do before because they'd been bound), which would represent the wrap-up that never happened in the final episode of the TV series. |

I know I said I was gonna watch it, but I watched SciFi instead. I gotta ask: how *did* they explain Steph (Alexandra Paul) rising from the grave? :-)
Incidently, Farscape had more Scarran medical bondage for Aeryn (Claudia Black), & a little for Chiana too. Incidently, if you're ever hired by the Scarrans & they ask if you want full medical... the answer is NO!!! You're better off just dying if you come down with something... unless you're a *major* masochist, of course. |

They did the ol' Evil Twin thing? (Ironic, considering Alexandra Paul REALLY HAS a twin sister, eh?) ...but how'd they explain the Steph thing? Did they *completely ignore* the fact that she was the twin of a dead lifeguard colleague? Did she get to gloat over any helpless damsels? Did she get led away in handcuffs at the end? They went the plastic surgery route, making the villanis look exactly like Stephanie, which didn't seem to disturb Mitch in the least until it was time to rescue everybody. |

> how'd they explain the Steph thing?
> > > > > They went the plastic surgery route, making the villanis look exactly like Stephanie... ----------- In the opening minutes, we find out that Mitch is engaged to a woman who's the spittin' image of Stephanie. We don't discover that she's in alliance with his nemesis, until the last hour (which produces a red herring that he'll get his revenge by kidnapping Mitch's bride-to-be). Then, the actual kidnapping targets of the evil captor and his henchmen unfolds over the last 50 minutes or so. But the writers could've taken even a different route from the Plastic surgery / Evil twin / or Risen-from-the-dead approach. In the opening sequence, Mitch has a nightmare reliving Stephanie's fatal accident. At that point, I was worried that the movie was going to take "Dallas"'s Bobby just dreamnt the whole thing schtick... |

According to E!online:
Jennifer Garner is taking Fox's double Dare challenge. Hot off the box-office sizzler Daredevil, the actress has agreed to star in a spinoff feature based on her Elektra character. The film picks up where Ben Affleck's superhero flick left off, allowing the girlfriend of the blind crimefighter to carry out her own adventures. Also in the works is a Daredevil sequel that would presumably reunite both characters. |

CHAOS SYNOPSIS A corporate wife stages her own kidnapping in order to dispel doubts about her husband's fidelity. To ensure the kidnapping's plausibility, she forces the hired henchman to tie her up. When the kidnapping evolves into a perverse, erotic role-playing game between the consensual abductor and abductee, the two discover a mutual interest in masochism and bondage. But soon hints begin to surface that things are not as they seem. Has the extorted husband been unfaithful? Is the wife who she claims to be? Is the henchman a pawn, manipulated by all to cover up the husband's even more heinous crime? -- © Kino International Description is from rottentomatoes.com |

I think the Baywatch reunion movie was a bondage extravaganza. Extremely well thought out from all angles, which I'll prolly cover in a Banter because some of the angles get us into Anything Goes turf. Really, it's amazing how good a lot of the scenes we've had this season have been.
I'm sorry about the lack of gags, but anytime the deathtrap is a watery one, gags are unlikely. |

No. She is just seen sitting in a chair, unrestrained in any way, trying to look worried. Pathetic. |

Saturday March 01 21:03:26 2003 Bound Blonde TONITE |
I just found out that on YTV, at 3:00 AM(Newfoundland Time), tonight's episode of Thunderbirds shows scenes of character Lady Penelope tied to a ladder about to be hit by a train. She has blonde hair and will be wearing a pink suit. Now Thunderbirds' characters are puppets and if you're not into puppets, I just wanted to let you know. |

My previous message refers to Lady Penelope from the puppet show Thunderbirds. I said she was wearing a pink suit when she was tied up. Well I need help locating pics of the same scenario. In episode "The Man From MI5", Penelope is kidnapped in the pink suit I already metioned and her hands are tied behind her back and her feet too and she's tied to a chair on a boat. They did a great job with camera angles, i.e. bottoms up shot, closeup of struggling breasts... Then, my wife made me turn it off. Drat, foiled again! Now I gotta go hunting. I don't know about the rest of you, but I've always felt that I've been searching for the ultimate scene - perfection in DID bondage, and that nothing ever quite stacks up. I didn't see this movie, but the seclection of Damsels was perfection in the making. The scenario also. The clothing? Yes, that too. Then, they leave out the gag! Cruel fate. |

Being a Lovecraft fan, I've been watching the showing of Dagon on the Sci Fi tonight. It's pretty good, though it's strayed well afield of the original story.
For example, there's no scene where the hero's girlfriend is suspended naked by the wrists above a pit to be sacrificed to Dagon. Think Lair of the White Worm with nudity. (She's supposed to be covered with streaks of blood, but it's such fakey blood that it didn't bother me at all.) I 'm pretty sure the scene was heavily edited for television, so I for one will be visiting my local vid store soon. Scene pops in the last 15 minutes or so. |

Saturday March 01 22:59:45 2003 Jessica Alba |
It seems that Jessica Alba is one of the most bound and gagged actresses today. I was reading her bio in the database. However there are several movie and television scenes not mentioned in the database. Since I have not seen them, I cannot add the description to the database.
Jessics Alba appeared in a 1999 movie titled Idle Hands, which she played a character named Molly. There is one scene which Jessica is tied to the roof of a car on a lift in a garage, with what appears to be a pentagram painted on the ceiling directly above her. Jessica's dress is torn below her bust, baring her midriff, but she is wearing panties. The lift is turned on and the car is slowly lifted to the ceiling. Jessica Alba, unfortunately, is not gagged, so she screams for help, which finally comes as Jessica is about to be crushed on the ceiling. A guy rescues Jessica, who kisses him after he unties her from the car. Jessica Alba also was a main character in the 1995-1997 version of Flipper, playing Maya. While reading the episode guide at http://www.jessicaalba.net, Jessica was kidnapped and tied up several times in the series. In the Flipper photos Jessica Alba is tied with her hands behind her back and gagged in at least two episodes. The website has several photos of Jessica Alba tied up from Flipper and Idle Hands. If anyone has seen those scenes, that person could better explain them. |
