The scene you mention is in there, and easily found by searching correctly. If you have a problem with the database, post EXACTLY what you did and what the result was. People have been using the database for several years now, and we haven't had a reported software bug in some time. |

Monday February 10 01:16:41 2003 "All My Children" Possibility |
Spoiler in my local paper says . . .
"Aidan saved Maria (Eva La Rue) after Julian tied explosives to her leg." Now I wouldn't expect "Maria" to just stand still and let explosives be tied to her leg so perhaps she'll be restrained in some way. Airs on ABC, repeats on Soapnet. |

Monday February 10 01:29:26 2003 Sock Puppet Alert |
Question for Canucks & Northern Yanks:
Caught abit of the Sockpuppet show (or Ed The Sockpuppet show), that just had what? appeared a lady hanging from the ceiling tied? or from a giant net, scene? on CITY channel. Occured during part of the show when the Sockpuppet is in US, normally interviewing TV, Movie & Porn stars. This interview was with Brooke Burns. The Sockpuppet was on about Baywatch, and thought heard "Dog Show"??? IMDB (Homepage Link) has a "Dog Eat Dog", but nothing in the DB. Anyone catch this proper? And can give fellas in US (as I don't see any listings here), a decent VHS machine alert? Thanx |

Monday February 10 02:32:15 2003 Re: Vector File |
holy cow...and no one has mentioned this movie before
I've posted the "vector file" entry in the database maybe a week ago. The video came out in Italy at the beginning of february. It's not the first time that a movie (australian in this case) is pushed out in the european market before than in the american one. It was the same thing for "cold heart". |

Italian title is "Detective > Novak indagine ad alta quota". Anybody knows anything about. Hi Paolo, I've made my searches and I found out that the original title is "Code 11-14" and is not listed in the IMDB. I've not seen the movie but there's a possibility that the woman tied is Poppy Montgomery. Can you give me more details? |

Monday February 10 06:00:11 2003 Code 11-14 |
This movie is created in Australia on 2nd half of 2001 for "movie of the week" show on CBS.
Unfortunately the TV movie was never shown in US, because of 9-11 tragedy. However this movie was shown in Europe (UK, France, Italy etc). Can someone put the information on the database? http://www.carltonint.co.uk/new/hollywood.htm |

Monday February 10 11:16:55 2003 Thanks for Hands of A Stranger Alert |
Great scene! Cuffed, gagged, blindfolded and naked, including several prolonged scenes of her cuffed and naked. Plus a closeup of the cuffs during the escape sequence. Not what I was expecting from a Lifetime Movie Network film.

Monday February 10 13:40:03 2003 Re: Heather Graham In "The Guru" |
Yeah, the Guru was a huge hit in India but we are still waiting here for Heather's turn in Killing Me softly. BTW, there is an ad running these days on all prominent channels which shows an entire army of women blindfolded!! This is about a brand of shampoo/hair oil and how women can select them without looking etc., but it sure is cute to see so many of them with thick blindfolds over their eyes. Anybody with updates on the latest gag scenes in Hindi movies? I saw Soch and Raveena Tandon's gag was terrific !! Jamesfromindia |

Question: Pat, the scene I saw on Lifetime about a year ago from this movie had been edited. When it ran on network, the bad guy is shown taping Beverly on the bed. He gags her first, then tapes her eyes. In the network version, you get a closeup of Beverly just gagged, not blindfolded. When it ran on Lifetime, it picked up the action after she was already gagged and blindfolded. I'm assuming you saw the same version? Or did it include the shot of just her gagged? |

> Well...? Left Coasters are waiting to hear: What
> happened to Ms. LaRue on AMC??? Sadly, Van, the news is not good. There was no action today--Eva's character apparently only arrives at the vacation destination in tomorrow's episode. Also, I caught the tail end of a promo on ABC earlier, in which Eva is lying on lounge chair calmly explaining to her significant other that she's attached to a bomb that will blow if she moves. No idea when this week that will occur. Didn't catch the start of the promo or get it on tape--maybe someone else has more info. There was no indication of a gag, and in the brief bit I caught, I didn't immediately notice any restraints, either. Doesn't mean they won't exist earlier in the scene, but there was no evidence to work with in the short bit I saw. |

So maybe while on the phone, he fantasizes about resucing her before he does it. Either way, a must record just in case. |

Nothing with Katie on ATWT. The thug in question just lured her to a bar as an old pal of Simon. He is threatening Katie with harm if Simon doesn't work a plan for him. Maybe something down the road, but nothing appears imminent. |

Thanks for the heads up, you guys. I *hate* watching soaps. They're like watching paint dry, *no matter* how beautiful some of the women might be. {sigh}
ANYhoo... I'll let others worry about Eva & her friends, & wait for someone to post some DiD-caps. |

Monday February 10 18:48:14 2003 ignition, mass blindfold |
>Ignition
The scene occur approx. for 5 minutes. She was tape gagged with black tape, wearing blue blouse. The best scene is when 2 villains took her from SUV to the golf cart. ### Mass blindfold In "Scarecrow & Mrs King", a dozen ladies are blindfolded (not bound) inside a house (charity event). At the same time Amanda (Kate Jackson) was kidnapped, but the ladies did not realize it. IIRC on one of Belinda Carlisle music clips there is also a mass blindfold scene. (I get weak?) |

According to IMDB.com, the ageless Model-turned-actress O'Neill (born 1948) was still in her 30's during her first full-treatment in "Cover Up". |

I saw that scene on a video tape back in the 1980's. It is a great scene, notwithstanding the putz. Beverly D'Angelo looked awfully good! I also liked the plot of the movie. In fact, one of my first posts on this page was a desription of that scene! I am not surprised that you liked it , Pat. This scene is definately your cup of tea. Unfortunately, I missed seeing it again. Hopefully, Lifetime will show it again soon! |

Monday February 10 22:09:45 2003 ABC soaps |
From reading the newsgroups it looks to me like current opinion on OLTL's Blair being tied up in just her bra and panties is about 2/3 opposed and 1/3 not opposed. Most seem to think it's just a cheap, desperate attempt to generate ratings by a network that's struggling. The feedback on Eva's upcoming scene on AMC is about the same. Most seem to think it's a lame, overused storyline that is stooping to a low common denominator, i.e., a bikini-clad damsel-in-distress waiting to be rescued. |

Does anyone remember a movie made in the 50's which was a thinly disguised retelling of Boston's brinks Robbery?I remember seeing it on tv as a kid and was impressed by the mass bondage scene of a number of people B+G.Problem is I don't remember the name or even if any of the bound were women.
Can anyone shed some light? |

We see the guy sitting in a chair with her lying face down on a bed in the foreground with her hands cuffed behind, with just the top of her back visible, then the camera pans to her face and we get a closeup of her face gagged and blindfolded. I think this is just prior to the rape, which of course (being Lifetime) is not shown but is so strongly implied that there's no doubt what happened. |

I read the same kinda crap on Television Without Pity every time one of the Charmed Ones shows a bit of flesh or does a DiD scene. Still, the ratings for Charmed HAVE gone up now that things have gotten sexier. One Life To Live repeats on Soapnet 2-3 a.m. EST. I'm guessing that's today's ep. |
