Also, at the very beginning of the show, a woman (the "other chick") is shown chained hands overhead. She's in a train compartment that's filled with computers with NASA mission control types monitoring them. It's a neat scene because the camera pans down the train compartment showing all the guys working studiously, and then toward the end we see the damsel just casually chained to a railing like an afterthought. "Here's mission monitoring station 8b, and here's a woman chained to the wall." |

Saturday February 15 00:52:29 2003 Any preference on this? |
Hey vatos!
Someone had posted a nice pic of two damsels tape bound and gagged being led away by some lucky villians earlier this week. It got me wondering... Does anyone have a preference of whether the girl getting the treatment is being moved or not? For example, does a tied up damsel struggling in a chair do it more for you than a bound and gagged helpless damsel being forced into a hideout or getaway car. There have been many topics on the preferences of a DiD scene:blond, brunette, or redhead;OTM, cleave, or tape?;rope, cuffs, or tape?etc, but I haven't seen any discussion on the topic I bringing up. As for myself, I'm inclined towards when a gagged damsel is taken, hands bound behind back, struggling and mmphing as the bad guys take her away. It's kinda like when you see an on-screen gagging...it just adds to a scene for me. So what about everyone else? You feel the same way about a scene or do you have a preference for a waiting damsel silently captive tied up to a chair, chained up to wall, or tied down a bed. |

Saturday February 15 01:23:07 2003 Lisa Gayle on "Jeannie" |
Has anyone seen the "I Dream of Jeannie" episode with Lisa Gayle left tied up hanging from the rafters? Basically, according to the description in the DB, the main characters land in the backyard of a family that becomes rather suspicious of them, and leaves them tied up hanging from the rafters. Somehow, they get free, and tie up Lisa Gayle (the one who tied them in the first place) instead.
I once had a very nice vidcap from the scene that I found somewhere on the internet, but I lost it due to the Chernobyl virus so many years ago. Does anyone know where vidcaps of it can be found? |

I'm now convinced that the writers for this show are all gay! I mean Tiffany Thiessan has had nothing yet even close to a tie-up scene, nevermind a gagging scene, and then tonight the stunning Jenny McCarthy was on and nothing even close to bondage came her way. What a waste of a time slot!! |

My post was about the frustration of having a potentially great bondage scene interrupted by an unnecessary special news report. This is something that many of us have experienced. What if "Maria" (Eva La Rue) HAD been bound and gagged during the interruption, instead of just having a bomb cuffed to her ankle? I think that venting frustrations about such a thing should be on topic. Where else could you talk about such a topic? |

What a waste > of a time slot!! You forgot to mention over the course of the season the two male leads have each been tied, one gagged, and another male guest star was gagged but no females even tied in about 15 episodes. On "John Doe" Friday, Doe was tape-gagged and the two females tied up were not gagged. It does seem this TV season has featured a lot of male tie-ups. However, I don't think it'll catch on. "Doe" and "Fastlane" were the lowest rated shows on "Fox" the past two weeks and each are headed for cancellation. Both are also preempted next week for a movie, another sign Fox is ready to throw in the towel. After a quick start, "Doe" has fallen big time. By comparison, "Hack" on CBS has mixed in enough tie-ups/gaggings to at least keep our attention, and that show is likely going to get a second season. Fox writers should examine their strategy. |

Saturday February 15 05:36:12 2003 Kassie DePavia on ONE LIFE TO LIVE |
I was rather taken with Kassie DePavia scene in ONE LIFE TO LIVE, which I saw on Bindher's page (thank you binder). I was curious as to why she started the scene in a bikini (or was it underwear) and ended up fully dressed. I looked at official and unofficial web sites and discovered that she persuaded her kidnapper to take her instead of some else. My mind has been running overtime as to how she got into her undies. Can someone please put my mind to rest? |

Wasn't the late, great Elizabeth Montgomery in her 40s when she first got the complete treatment in "With Murder in Mind"?
As for the Meredith Viera thread, I thought I was in a minority who thought she was hot but obviously I'm far from alone. My fantasy is to see a "Millionaire" contestant go beserk, tie her to her seat, and say something like "Now I'll ask the questions!!" while she struggles helplessly (I do have to get more sleep). And as for old timers losing interest, its not true in my case. Maybe I'm not in the clique of those who contribute but I'm definitely a faithful reader and plan to continue to do so. |

Hi Mr Mod,
Would the awesome Miss Otto's faux gag scene from "The Girl Who Came Late" (1991) aka "Daydream Believer" belong in the database...? She plays a fey young woman with a troubled history who relates more easily to horses than men. When she gets emotional she actually starts to think that she is a horse and acts like one! During one such episode Martin Kemp's character calms her down by placing a horse bridle over her head, the metal bit in her mouth, between her teeth. |

According to spoilers posted on TWOP Paige(Rose McGowan) will be bound and gagged in ep 16(which will probably be shown on March 9) The post there had Paige b&g in Phoebe's premonition but a link to complete episode spoilers also had scenes of Paige b&g while being drained of power by her captors and when she is rescued by Piper & Phoebe. Sounds like it could be pretty long.
Also the following ep has incomplete spoilers out in which Piper is kidnapped by demonic bounty hunters... |

You are correct that Coates had second Superman scene. However, the basic thrust of my post is still valid. Coates only played the role for one season and only had two scenes. Saturday February 15 15:43:27 2003 Loise Lane /Lara Flynn Boyle |
Like several other posters here, Lara Flynn Boyle is not my first choice to play Lois in any new Superman movie. I do not share all of the criticisms of Lara voiced by some here, and there are certainly worse choices, but I agree that the filmmakers could do a lot better.
As for what type of "Lois" the movie should have, I tend to opt for a more of an early middle-aged one (thirty something or maybe early forties). However, I would suggest a few new twists to the storyline. First, I would suggest replacing the Jimmy Olson character with a young female reporter. This character could be either Lois' niece or maybe a relative of Jimmy Olson's. Next, I would replace the Perry White character with a career-woman type, possible Perry White's grandaughter. These changes would give the newsroom more of a female touch and create many more DID possibilities. As for who would play these characters, obviously a young hottie shold play the young female reporter role (Jennifer Love Hewitt or possibly even Brittany Spears would be good). For the Lois chaacter, my first choice would be Heather Locklear, other possibilites would include Meg Ryan, Michele Pfeifer, Brooke Shields, Jane Krakowski or perhaps Kristin Davis or Courtney Thorne-Smith. As for the editor role, would suggest a forty or early fifty something actress that still looks good. Kim Cattral, Cheryl Ladd, Catherine Oxenberg and Demi Moore would be interesting possibilities. |

Below should be a link to a newspaper article re a forthcoming storyline in top British soap 'Coronation Street', concerning a psycopathic step-father/husband. It would seem that four endings to the storyline are being considered/filmed, and it's fingers crossed here across the pond that this will be the one chosen.
Mind you, of the 4 plots suggested, 3 seem to involve ropes, whilst the 4th remains a mystery in that department. The actress is 19 y.o. Tina O'Brien, who plays 16 y.o. Sarah Louise in the soap. |

Nah....again, she's old news. Just because you find someone attactive, doesn't mean she's right for every role. Of anyone you mentioned, I could possibly see Jennifer Love Hewitt as Lois. That's just about it. |

Well, the site also describes the episode for this weekend (the one with Cheryl Ladd). If that spoiler is accurate, then I for one plan to fire up the ol' VCR (man, I need a TIVO). Rose McGowen has long been in my top "please someone bind 'er" list. |

It is called "Baby's First Demon" and it will air on Sunday March 2. "Paige" (Rose McGowen) does indeed get bound and gagged! In the script, there were no details as to HOW she will be bound and gagged. There seems to be a good deal of footage of her bound and gagged. Let's hope it's a great scene! |

She played those things, but not very convincingly. Don't you want the production to be GOOD? You have to get top quality performers. Besides, she's too old. But to each his own. You like who you like, no one can change anyone's mind. I would only say some of your choices would not be practical. |

World premier movie on the Sci-fi Channel on February 22nd. Discription in Entertainment magazine involves the words "S & M gear". Checked the sci-fi website, and found a picture of a girl (possibly Sarah Polley because she is the main actress) strapped to a table. Anyone hear anything else about this?

OK.I hope this is not too much off topic. I try to help a fellow bondage lover. And I hope I am allowed to do that in here. Usenet is not the Internet. Works differently. There are no "Links". Actually it is a "net" by emails. Get a newsreader (software, free-or shareware. Tucows?). Install it. Hope you ISP supports Usenet. Open it while your Internet connection is active. LOTS of newsgroup names comes up, in alphabetical order. (Usually, depends a little on which newsreader you have). Find ABPEB: (Alt.binaries.pictures.erotica.bondage), click on it. All the contents will appear, ready to be downloaded. Content of the day that is, it changes all the time, because of the heavy flow. Items remains 2-3 days typically-depending on your ISP's server capacity of course. And, beware! There's lots and lots and lots of crap in there if you do not fancy closeups of female genitals or torture. ( I do not) But, check a couple of times a week, sometimes something you may like is posted- like Moviefan caps (Often called DVDcaps.new.Moviefan@something nowadays). There's usually 25 at a time. There's a few other nice posters IMO who come in regularly.... |

>...I would agree that Lois should not be older than Clark, but I could see a Superman in his early 40's the 50's TV series George Reeves Clark was a middle-aged man (35 to 40).
> > As for the editor role, would suggest a forty or early fifty something actress that still looks good. --------------- I would agree it's not beyond the realm of feasibility. Lois Lane generally has NOT been played by a young 20-something actress. Teri Hatcher was 29 when she started "Lois & Clark"; Margot Kidder was 30 when she started the Superman movies series. It's actually more realistic that Lois Lane is in at least her early-30's: She's supposed to have worked her way up to being Metropolis' top investigative newspaper reporter. I don't think she would've reached that status a couple of years after receiving her Journalism degree (well, maybe someone could in Smallville, but not in Metropolis!). Perhaps some here are heavily influenced by the currently-running "Smallville", where everyone is a 20-something. There weren't any women editors of major newspapers in the days of the 1930's & 1940's, so naturally Perry White was orignally written by DC Comics as a man. If the new Superman were to be written as a contemporary piece rather than the "Classic" 1940's-1950's, then minor alterations (such as the gender of the Daily Planet's editor) would be fair game, I suppose. After all, James Bond now reports to a woman, which didn't occur in Ian Fleming's novels. And the more DiD possibilities (Lois Lane, Lucy Lane, an attractive Daily Planet female editor, etc.) the better. One of the biggest letdowns of the "Lois & Clark" series for me was that a DiD scene was never written for the hot-to-trot clad "Kat" (Tracy Scoggins). |

Saturday February 15 20:29:29 2003 Lois Lane casting |
> My vote is for Jennifer Connelly. Not only is she beautiful, but unlike most Hollywood actresses, can act too.
--------- I like Connelly too, but I seem to recall reading last week that she's currently pregnant (or just recently gave birth), so she's probably not taking on any major projects now. My pick for a big-budget movie version would be Sandra Bullock (38), who successfully played the feisty, intelligent, likeable DiD in Speed and The Net. And assuming it uses a romantic angle w/ humor like Lois & Clark or Superman-I, well, Bullock is at her most successful in her romantic-comedy roles. Don't know who my picks would be for TV series. There are a lot of out-of-work (or whom soon will be!) sexy TV actresses in the late-20's to late-30's age group who'd be reasonable candidates. |

There usually isn't great details about how actresses will be bound or gagged in a script unless it's a plot point. (Example, in SPEED, it had to be handcuffs) That's where we get DADS- Dumb Ass Director's Syndrome, when a director is handed a beautiful script and still screws it up. -CB |

You mean it's gotten to the point where gorgeous Heather Locklear is "too old" to play "sexy reporter" (and the like) roles? God does THAT make a person feel ancient! :-( Man, just how old ARE some you you people here? Surely no one here is thinking "man, that hottie Katie Holmes would make a great Lois Lane!" She's barely old enough to drink legally! Point is (besides me suddenly feeling like an old codger in my late 30's!) that I think a seasoned reporter like Lois is supposed to be can't be some young "just turned 21" kid. I'd think anywhere between 28 and 40 would be perfectly acceptable for a Miss Lane casting. And for the record I don't think Heather's "too old" to convincingly play just about any role out there where the character is supposed to be at least post-college age. |

Guest star (well, singer) Lee Ann Womack (sp?) ended up tied hand & foot (hands in front) in the trunk of a car. No gag, unfortunately, which was why she was able to call for help on her cell phone. For the foot guys, she had high heeled sandals on but there were no shots of her tied ankles, just a barely-glimpsed shot of the ropes on her lower legs as she's being lifted out of the trunk. Another missed opportunity. |

Now I may be wrong, but I think the gorgeous redhead wearing that leather gag was none other than the incredible Elizabeth Berkley (Saved By the Bell, Any Given Sunday). Saturday February 15 22:58:39 2003 Sabado Gigante |
Hey everyone,
This is just a shot in the dark, but tonight I was flipping through the channels and I came across a shirtless guy restrained to a fake dungeon wall on the goofy Spanish game show Sabado Gigante. Four or five incredibly busty women in micro bikinis then proceeded to smear him with pies as part of some strange punishment that he and other contesteants were receiving (all males of course, including head shaving and a tarring and feathering). My question is if the tables were ever turned and any females recieved the dungeon wall treatment. I think it would be quite nice to see a scantily clad cutie restrained to the wall and smeared with pies, but alas it probably never happened. Any of our Spanish (or non-Spanish) speaking regulars ever see any female bondage on Sabado Gigante? The episode tonight reminded me of that Japanese torture game show Endurance. Anybody? Anyone? Bueller? |

Saturday February 15 23:24:52 2003 CSI "gag" |
Well, I dunno if it's Elizabeth Berkley wearing that gag, but I took it into Photoshop and had a look at it and I have never seen any gag like it before.
What it APPEARS to be is some kind two-piece stitched piece of material that's been pulled apart and then fastened (but not stitched -- maybe glued? -- back together. You can see the perfs for the original stitching along the edges of the gag (which is joined in the middle). The nose hole is a rather crudely cut slit in the two pieces, probably befroe they were pulled apart. I'm guessing that they needed an "SM" type gag, but nobody had anything on hand for whatever reason so the wardrobe mistress rigged something up for them. But I'll be glad to entertain other theories, anybody got any? |
