Amazing how ropes and gags bring up different kinds of responses. Someone in e-mail told me that:
"I know just from part of an Opra show I saw that it is not PC to like tied up women. 'The worst kind of violence against women',her guest called it!"

And yet, here it is, used as advertising! I guess this is one of those "context means everything" moments.

What *was* the context, btw? Did anything the article said have to go with this picture?

(I would have imagined the restraints would have been more time period-specific. Rope and tape? Hmmm....)

You know better than to post stuff this.

Any followups along these lines will be deleted.

Mysterious Old HK Movie
I saw the last 30 minutes of an old HK Police movie (1970s, 1980s). A Japanese under cover cop (Sato Tesuma?) is trying to destroy a HK Drug Triad.

The son of Triad leader (Chico Lee) kidnap 2 women as bait. The women are bound (arm in front) and cleave gagged inside a car. The hero rescue them during a fight in a warehouse. 2 local police officers (male + female) also help the hero.

Later the Japanese cop try to kill the boss (Jimmy Lee?) in a hotel room, but failed. At the end of the movie, the policewoman went to the boss house to kill him, but the boss died suddenly.

They mentions "Salons Films" in the credits.
Anyone familiar with this movie? What is the title?

As I mentioned in my original "magazine alert" post, there's no useful episode info (WRT the photo) in the article. There *is* a joke caption:

"This page: The production staff took swift action after Amanda let slip some details of the season finale."

As I also mentioned, it *looks* like a publicity shot (to me), in which the staff photographer took advantage of a lull in shooting to take a snap.

I just love the isolation, the fact that no other cast or crew "contaminate" the frame.

Hi All,

I would bet against it being a publicity shot.I found another pic in "CultTimes Winter Special".Tealc appears to have just released the lovely Maj Sam.The tape gag is lying on the ground next to them.Interestingly, they appear have covered the greater part of the adhesive surface with a piece of white material.Presumably to protect the lovely Amanda's lips from the adhesive.I wonder how long she was taped for during the shooting of the scene!?!?

Best Wishes,

Re: Women's Interview/Comments- Etc- FF Not Bondage
Okay, caught part of that show with the women - B&G'd romance interview commented about, so will sort it here, with a possible? alert same time.

2 ladies interviewed were relating how they draw out their rape fantasy for their romance comic books. Appeared more on how they draw explicit for the older ladies, tamer for the younger, etc. SexTV showed some of their B&G'd drawings in their comics whilst they were commenting.
So no ladies "talking about it" in part I watched.

SexTV normally re-airs same episode all weekend, so should re-air on CITY channel @11:30pm tonight? If you still want to have a look at it.

Pat Powers has some caps up of drawings very similar to the ones the ladies draw.
Homepage link will take you to Pat's Jollyroper.com site, then you're looking for the "Bondage Queen Kate" link in the "Bondage Banter" section.

"TCM 2003"
The following is in regards to some images surfacing from the upcoming remake of the 'Texas Chainsaw Massacre'. Of course, the original had some definete full-treatment bondage - not the most pleasant full-treatment of all time, but full-treatment nonetheless.

Follow the posted link to a photo of lovely young Ms. Jessica Biel. I attempted to post a link to the main "TCM'" review page off of this website, but 2000 pop-ups came up each time I did so and totally screwed with any chance to get the address of the main review - I might have been able to figure it out in time, but it was pretty frustrating. So, tell you what; follow the link I posted and then, if you hit the 'back' tab at the bottom of the page, go to the main review page that has one other pic of some interest.

Three things to note;

1) Jessica Biel is major hot and that outfit is absolutely.....wow.

2) If you check the next page back and look at the other pic, the other babe is plenty good lookin' too; if Jessica manages to elude any kind of bondage, I could settle for her tied up too.

3) What this remake will have to offer along the lines of bondage as in the original is still up in the air....BUT....if you look at the pic at the link of Jessica.....is it just wishful thinking, or what appears to be around her left wrist?

Here's hoping this quite possibly ill-advised venture produces something.

Re: Charmed

Tonight's description on the WB web site:

After kidnapping Phoebe, Cole sends a Shape-shifter to assume Phoebe's identity to help him manipulate Piper and Paige into giving him the Manor.

Likely another false alarm, but worth watching I guess.

Hmm...this kind of reminds me of another "cute bondage" publicity shot. Check here: http://www.geocities.com/TelevisionCity/Stage/6050/bd-movietape.jpg

This one has NO context in the picture! It's also a very cute pic, wouldn't you agree?

Sorry, I meant that as a lead-in to my comments. I didn't think of the potential politics it could raise.

Darkness
Does anyone have any further info on the Anna Paquin scene described in the db? What is she gagged with? Is it a decent or lengthy scene? When's this movie coming to the US? I've read twenty different things about the release date.

I didn't know Anna Paquin had a scene. I'd also like to hear some details if this is true. Any info is appreciated :)

Is this the issue you mean? (See URL & image below.)

One semi-sure sign of a "publicity photo" vs. a "episode still" is the eyes. Amanda's looking at the lens.

It's still an open issue whether this is a "new" episode or not. I watch *Stargate SG-1*, so I volunteer to keep an eye on things. You'd think if there was a Season 5 or earlier episode with Major Sam B&G'd (other than "Emancipation" from Season 1) we would have heard about it.

Release Date: TBA 2003 (possibly direct to cable/video, skipping a theatrical release in the USA?)

Release Date Note: (7/31/02) This was originally scheduled for a wide theatrical release on August 2nd, 2002, and was then pushed back several months to February 7th, 2003.

I saw a spoiler site where one of the other character is
standing over and unbound Sam, but she is sitting in the same
position and the background is the same. The episode is
"paradise lost" and I think will air the start of Feb.
I think!

Handgag SG-1
Thanks for the info about the possible SG-1 episode in which Major Sam will (dare we hope?) be B&G'd.

While doing a little Amanda Tapping surfing I came across the MGM Stargate site, Ms. Tapping's bio, & the pic below!

With Brian's permission, I declare this... AMANDA TAPPING WEEKEND!!! :-)

SG-1 Episode---> FORSAKEN
Okay, I found a site called "gateworld" (the webmaster of which apparently has blackmail material on the MGM management.) The site has *tons* of spoiler material, *including* MGM photos of upcoming episodes. I'm now convinced the episode of interest is: "FORSAKEN." Projected air date in the US is 21 FEB 2003.

I seem to remember her name being "Virginie Loren", but a search for it on the IMDB turns up a blank. Could anyone else help? I definitely remember "Virginie" as being her first name, at least.

You were close. Her name is Virginie Ledoyen, a huge star in France and best known to US audiences for the Leo DiCaprio movie "The Beach". She's also featured prominently in L'Oreal commercials. A major cutie with (sadly) no known scenes that I am aware of, but there's still time :)

Ralphus, the DB has three entries for Ms.Ledoyen, including a chair tie/tape gag scene in the movie "Mahjong".
