Nope, but toward the end of the series there is a scene in the episode "Breach", anyway.

I'll remind everyone ONCE AGAIN that these bizarre
paranoid fantasies of actresses screwing you out of
the scenes you think you deserved are off-topic.

Yeah, do a Google news search on her and you'll find a dozen different articles about the controversy. British GQ is unapologetic about digitally changing her proportions.

As we're probably at risk at running too far off-topic here, I'll wrap it up with this brief note: Personally, I think the "real" Winslet, with her perfectly feminine curves, looks a hell of a lot better than the skinny, fake one. And I'm pleased to hear she'll finally have a scene in this flick.

I only know of two times-I checked the database and there's a tapegag scene. Anyone have a cap of this?

Likely not possible. It was only a very distant shot of her gagged with white tape in the background in the opening segment. Amazing though that she had three gag scenes in that show's run.

Everyone on that show was gagged at some point except Christina Applegate.

She REALLY should have been gagged in that scene where she was tied up while babysitting.

The final (I hope) answer to gagless damsels
I state catagorically and for the lst time, no gag scenes result from bad writing and nothing else.

Case in point: Recently, I saw the movie UHF for the first time. In it, a goofy janitor takes over as host of a kids show on the faltering station and ratings fly through the roof. The manager of a Network afiliate doesn't like the turn of events, so he has four goons kidnap the guy. He's blindfolded, but non gagged, so he keeps babbling on, despite being told to "shut up" twice.

Let's face it people, until we get folks like us into the Screen Writer's Guild, we're going to stuck with lame or nonexistant bondage scenes.

According to posters on messageboards at NacyDrew.com, a couple of the games have Nancy getting knocked out and awaking bound up. It's a choose your own adventure type game, so you have to screw up to make Nancy get tied up.

The villain (via the screenwriter) probably knew that duct tape would only stick a short while a cleave gag would be hard to work off. MOre likely was the actress siad that she didn't want to be tape-gagged and asked for a gentler method of silencing her.

soaps
I read thru a bunch of spoiler sites and didn't see too much that sounded like a b&g scene was coming up this week on any soaps. Most soaps are supposed to have a woman in danger but they mostly sounded like life-threatening danger (caught in blizzard, various ailments, etc).

The only shows with slight hope were:

Guiding Light, which had this one liner "An intruder enters the Lewis home" No other mention of the Lewis' were given so who knows, maybe a quick burglar scene?

Days of Our Lives - Belle (Kirsten Storms) is leaving the show to work on a movie soon. However, spoilers say "Tony puts his plan to bring down the Blacks, and begins with Belle! " FYI, Tony is a long-time villain from THE villainous family on the show and he's been John Black's foe for many years. Tony's father Stefano has kidnapped John's wife Marlena (Diedre Hall) many times so you never know. The second quote of interest was "Belle falls into Cassie's trap". Cassie is after Belle's boyfriend and is somewhat weird (long story), so who knows what she might try?

Two fun games come to mind right away. "Curse of Monkey Island" (The main reason I got a computer was so I could play that game.) and "Agent Under Fire" for GameCube.(But the two women in the game are just bound and not gagged.)

I've been waiting for Cassie to snap and ths might be the right time. A few years ago another actress took leave from a soap to do other work so they had her character kidnapped and every few weeks the actress would come in and send a day filming bondage shots. DOOL might do the same thing. Heck, they recently did it with Hope while the actress was slowly returning from maternity leave.

BO and GWEN
When "Tarzan the Ape Man" came out, I remember it was originally X (they didn't have NC-17 then) and they cut a scene where Bo was restrained as they painted concentric circles on her breasts, and then they allowed the R rating. Does anyone know where we could get an extended version of the film with that scene intact? The description of it is burned into my memory from childhood.

Also, I echo a post that may have gotten lost in the shuffle. It was stated earlier that there is a PERILS OF GWENDOLINE DVD with extended footage. Can anyone describe the nature of the additional scenes? Is it of interest to us?

Regards to all...

Electronic Arts (EA) game "The Lost Files of Sherlock Holmes: Case of the Serrated Scalpel". At the end of the game you rescue the damsel, who is bound to a chair and gagged.

IIRC she is a blonde and wearing a long blue dress.

How do you get your hands untied...that's neat that they actually make the player *that* involved in the situation. The only game I've ever played where you can be tied up, and still in control, involved a putz!! (Deja Vu, for the curious. Still a fun game with a lot of interactivity)

That's fine as long as it's stated it's a cartoon and not a live actress (which many computer games use these days).

Command & Conquer: Red Alert had a scene with a woman tied to a chair for interrogation, and Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight has a scene near the end where a woman is tied to a post. Both are video cutscenes, and you only see the one in Jedi Knight if you go to the dark side halfway through the game.

Title: Doppelter Einsatz - Langer Samstag (2003)
Medium: TV Movie
Actress: Petra Kleinert, Alexandra Schalaudek

Description: Series regular Kleinert and cute guest Schalaudek have numerous scenes in this German TV movie. Tied up almost for the whole duration of the show with wide tape, hands in front, but more often behind their backs (good closeups).
We also get some good views of their bound feet. For a while the ladies are also gagged with wide strips of tape. Definitely an outstanding piece of work.

I can't agree with you here. As someone else has mentioned, the bad guy may have been concerned that the damsel might have been able to work off the tape (particularly if it would have been just a small strip) and opted for the cloth cleave as a surer gag that the damsel would have more difficuty defeating.

In addition, it is possible that the director/producers opted for a cloth gag so that the gag would stand out. Combining a tape gag with tape binds runs the risk that some viewrs might not immediately perceive that the damsel is gagged. As we discussed several weeks ago, one of the reasons to gag the damsel in a film or television production is to convey the notion that the damsel is in trouble. I believe either of these considerations are valid and suggest that it is not a case of DAWS or DADS.

I agree with you on this point.

> I emphatically state once more, the writers and producers of the show were utter IDIOTS!

If they failed to use DID B&G scenes when they could have (and it sounds like they so failed on several occasions) then I would agree with you.

R.I.P. "The Lost World"
Hate to be the bearer of bad news but it now appears that "The Lost World" is more than likely lost forever. Just a few weeks ago it was reported that progress was being made toward finally getting the fourth season on the air in September 2003.

Now the syndicator, New Line, has effectively killed any hope of getting the show back on by deciding NOT to offer the show at next week's National Association of Television Programming Executives (NATPE) convention. Without a U.S. sale there is no way the show can resume production.

Never have I seen a show so mismanaged as was "Lost World". First the original production company went bankrupt. Then a new company from Australia steps in to get season three on the air. But guess what? Jennifer O'Dell can only be in 15 episodes because she's NOT Australian.

The show flourished in the third season with some of the highest ratings of it's run, even earning a surprising early renewal from New Line. Then just as season four was about to begin production, with O'Dell back on board full time, the company that was supposed to distribute the reruns overseas refused to pay the price per episode that New Line wanted. So the show basically went into limbo over that debacle.

Supposedly, the producers, Coote/Hayes, are working on a plan B that could possibly bring a season four in March 2004 but that appears unlikely. There's also talk of a 2 hour tv movie to wrap up all of the loose ends from the last episode's cliffhanger. That will depend on fan support, which is quite extensive by the way. Jennifer has returned to Los Angeles and with pilot season getting underway lets hope she, Rachel Blakely and Lara Cox land in a shows that will not only bind and gag them on a regular basis but will also be run by poeple who actually know what their doing.

By the way, many of Jennifer's scenes (including all 4 gag scenes) can be found at my old site. Just follow the link below.

Check http://htfvidcaps.dyndns.org/vidcaps/Doppelter_Einsatz/index.htm for caps of other episodes, though the episode "Langer Samstag" isn't there, unfortunately.

There are some good scenes there, though, including one that has a hogtie with a gag!

Also note this quote from his cap page:
"Well paced, credible characters, good plots, good dialogues, attractive female stars - I liked each and every episode - especially so since DiD scenes are quite common."
