Thursday January 02 02:48:20 2003 Candidate for DID scene of 2002? |
I specially love tape gags, and I think the most important is how HOT is the actress and how long is he scene.
That's why I think the DID scene of this year goes to: Adrienne Frantz (Bold & the Beautiful) Other candidates: Elisha Cuthbert (24-"9.00pm-10.00pm") Pam Anderson (VIP-"Val Cubed") Anne Judson-Yager (Boomtown-"Coyote") Poppy Montgomery (Glory Days-"Lost Girls") Azura Skye (Buffy-"Help") |

Record number: 8258
Title: Roswell Medium: TV Series Actress: Katherine Heighl Description: Episode: "How the Other Half Lives" (Season 2, #2.14) Isabel (Heighl) was handgagged and chloroformed by a man wearing black ski mask. Occur approx. 20 minutes after the start of the episode. _______ Ask in future when entering into the DB, please enter it similar to previous entries. Makes it easier for fellas using the search, so adding the "Season 2, #" in the ep title area, could throw off a search for them. Thanx |

Thursday January 02 13:45:14 2003 Anyone remember this scene from "Pointman"? |
While zapping through the channels, I caught the end of a scene in "Pointman" (short-lived action series with Jack Scalia). This is the best I could make of it:
--- Record No. 8260 Title: Pointman Medium: TV Series Actress: Kristin Bauer (?) Description: Episode: "Business And Pleasure" (1.17) The title hero finds a blonde woman tightly tied down in a spreadeagle on a bed, possibly with cable ties. --- If anyone can add some information about this one, please post it to DB corrections. (I'd also like to know if I missed anything). And, of course: Happy New Year and lots of damsels everyone! |

Thursday January 02 13:47:14 2003 Re: Candidate for DID scene of 2002? |
Most Innovative Movie Scene -- Spreader Bar scene from "Secretary". Spreader bar has been seen before in "Romance" but never before within the context of a workplace romance. I foresee a lot of potential uses for spreader bars in workplace humor.
Most Innovative TV Scene -- Nude bondage with pantie gag from Law & Order SVU. I STILL don't know how they got away with it. On network TV yet! Worst Movie Scene -- I'd have to go with the incredibly loose wire restraints in the second scene in "Scorcher." Worst TV Scene -- Nothing really appalling, outstandingly worse than other TV scenes comes to mind. Anybody got a suggestion? |

Thursday January 02 16:03:19 2003 Guiding Light |
Nothing happened with Michelle on "Guiding Light." Looked promosing after Saundra Santiago pulled a gun and they went to commercial, but good guy showed up way too early to ruin the scene.
For those who taped it, however, about 20 minutes in Harley (Beth Ehlers) is handgagged hard from a closet. Turned out to be the boyfriend (of course). Harley could see some trouble down the line in this storyline since she's been snooping around, but it'll take forever to develop. |

Thursday January 02 16:46:17 2003 Possible hand gag on DOOL |
Hey everyone its Bud again, your favourite soap opera bondage alerter. I have some big news but ths is in no way confirmed. Well checkin the spoiler for Friday and it says that Belle(Kirsten Storms) fins Colin's dead body and she lefts out a large scream. The list of killers to Colin is enourmous with over 10 people as suspects. Anyways, on a preview for Monday, it says, while Belle finds Colins body and begins to scream, Brandon(Matt Cedeno) grabs her from behind. I doubt there will be any bondage involved but its very possible that she could be hand gagged considering she is screaming. But no bondage probably, just a hand gag. She has been hand gagged before on DOOL. to confirm what I have just said, go to http://www.soapoperafan.com/days and click on Early Edition down the page a bit. If you go to it tonight, It will say what I just told you with Brandon grabbing her from behind, but nothing bad will happen cause Brandon wont hurt girls(I've watched the show for 4 years now to know that) but if you check the page tommorow, the spoiler wil be up for Monday and it will tell us if there is a hand gag involved or not.
Get It? Got It? Good! |

My candidate for the year would be Boomtown for the bondage or Lone star State of Mind for strugling and performance not to mention bindinga fairly major star rather than some unknown. |

Thursday January 02 18:12:41 2003 Episode number |
>Season 2, # -> failed search.
Perhaps there should be a rule on posting page that episode number SHOULD NOT use "#" or "SEASON". The standard format is (X.YY), where X: season number, YY: episode number. There are 2 entries on database with "#" on episode number (Bold & Beautiful). Perhaps this "#" should be removed. |

Thursday January 02 18:16:34 2003 new Dragnet series |
I do not know if anyone mentioned this before.
I saw the ad for the new Dragnet series. There was more than one mention of missing girls. I also saw a brief shot of hands tied in ropes. |

Thursday January 02 21:00:50 2003 "Ginger" Trilogy On DVD |
I believe the "Ginger" trilogy - "Ginger," "Girls Are For Loving" and "The Abductors" - recently came out on DVD. That's probably not news to some of you, but it was to me. My question is, has anyone here purchased and/or viewed them? Are they worth buying for the bondage scenes alone? (I wouldn't be buying them for the riveting action or the inspired acting.) I've never actually seen these films, but I've heard plenty about them. Any insights would be most welcome. Thanks. |

Thursday January 02 21:51:48 2003 Ginger Trilogy on DVD |
> I've been in contact with the folks at Monterey Video. They say the DVDs for Ginger and the Abductors have the following extras:
Ginger: Cheri Caffaro filmography; Scene Access; Photo Dossier The Abductors: Special Photo Expose; Scene Access; Dossier I do not know if the photo dossiers and the photo expose contain scenes, but it seems very possible that they do. I'm not sure what they mean by "Scene Access" other than the standard DVD feature of being able to access the DVD by scene. --------- Homer: The above was posted on November 28. I have The Abductors video, and have seen the videos for Ginger and Girls are For Loving. As the videos do not contain any extra scenes, it would appear that could be a plus for the newly available DVD versions. |

>>My question is, has anyone here purchased and/or viewed >>them? Are they worth buying for the bondage scenes >>alone?
I recently purchased the The Abductors on DVD after having owned the VHS version for several years. As to whether or not the Ginger series is worth it really depends on your personal preferences. I happen to think The Abductors contains some of the best scenes from that era. It certainly was way ahead of its' time. Leather strap gags (although not very tight), women b&g topless, women tied and teased. It's more like a soft-core version of a commercial video. > I do not know if the photo dossiers and the photo expose > contain scenes, but it seems very possible that they do. > I'm not sure what they mean by "Scene Access" other than > the standard DVD feature of being able to access the DVD > by scene. > --------- The Abductors DVD does not contain any extra scenes or still photos of the movies. The photo dossier/expose are still shots of Cheri Chafaro posing. On the plus side, it does appear if they did some tweaking of the video as the colors looks a bit more vibrant than the VHS version. This may also be because the DVD is being fed into S-VHS input as opposed to VCR using a regular analog video input. |

On the subject of The Abductors, I thought I'd share some useless trivia. Jennifer Brooks, the actress who played Ginger's cute brunette judo-chopping sidekick in The Abductors, is also credited with doing two other movies that same year (1972) that featured her bound and/or gagged (Woman Hunt & The Hot Box). Both The Abductors and Woman Hunt featured five women bound and gagged. All three movies featured multiple DiDs.
If only today's Hollywood starlets would apply themselves as much. |

Weiss. > > That makes both of Jill Hennessy's male leads getting > tied up this season and nothing for her. All I can say about the above is Boo Hoo and double Boo Hoo!! That guys are shown getting tied during football games (with a predominantly male het audience) is not encouraging! As for Crossing (but Never Tying and Gagging) Jordan, you would think that the writers could come up with something better than having the bad guy tying up dad as bait. Couldn't they have used an aunt, sister, niece, gal friend etc. Heck, changing things so that Jordan is bi-sexual and has a lesbian lover who is tied, gagged and used as bait would be just fine with me. Under any of the above scenarios we could see a DID get the full treatment without having to have Jordan get it. The shows writers and producers apparently don't want to put Ms. Hennessy in a full treatment scene. |

I hope you are right Kinky-napper. However, I can't say that I am as optimistic as you are about the prospects for a gag. That Fox would show a promo of a scene where the damsel is tied, but not gagged during a football game - with a predominately young male audience - does not give me a whole lot of hope. It seems to me that if Fox had shots of the damsel gagged they would have used them like they did last year in promoting 24 during football games and the World Series. I would have had more hope if the promo had simply shown the damsel being knocked out. |
