| Just remebered another one: "Deathstalker." Actually, this movie could almost have been set on Gor: the opening scene has three different sets of guys fighting over a bound slavegirl (see image below) all with the same interest: to use her as a the sexual equivalent of snack food. But the bondage was very sloppy by Gorean standards, so I guess it does qualify as an outpost. |

| Confirming that there's a scene in the film adaptation of Neil Gaiman's Stardust, due out later this year:
Over at aint-it-cool-news, an early reviewer (who loved the film) had one small complaint: "[The Hero] doesn't even untie the star, the witch does." The "star" needing to be untied would be Claire Danes. As I say, I think we were expecting this, but I wasn't sure if it had been confirmed yet. |

| Wow - this is an unpleasant little opus. Like many terrible slasher flicks, it is filmed in highly desaturated colors, but in this case the auteur did not feel that a nearly black and white "film" would be unpleasant enough. This is a nearly pea-green and white film. Ugly, from the first frame to the last.
By DVD chapter 4, a woman has been bound and duct tape gagged in a bathtub, but her leg is almost immediately hacksawed off in bloody detail. There is no bondage per se in the rest of the DVD, but there are a few hand gaggings. It is hard to imagine that anyone would find any part of this erotic, if for no other reason than the fact that the whole thing is so dingy, grainy and ugly. Leave this one off your Netflix list - the film maker deserves no encouragement. F- |
