DVD quality helps plenty, but the scene is still not very good - jumpy editing and poor lighting prevail in this one, which is too bad because Paula Patton is just extraordinarily yummy and should be definitely be seen (and heard) more. This is one of those scenes that works better for me as vidcaps: there's really not much action on the damsel's part, so the vidcaps are more satisfying. I don't know about the rest of you, but I divide scenes into a number of categories: 1) Good scene, bad vidcaps: not many in this category; Fair Game (1985 Australian version) comes to mind. 2) Bad scene, good vidcaps: usually very brief scenes with an especially beautiful damsel or scenes with not much struggling by the damsel; Big Trouble in Little China with Suzee Pai, Nicolette Krebitz in Desperate Measures or Jacqueline Collen's lengthy scene in "Sinbad" fit this category for me. 3) Bad scene, bad vidcaps: these are sometimes almost non-scenes, like the super-quick one in Nurse Betty or scenes that are just too gruesome, such as the scene from Funny Games. 4) Good scene, good vidcaps: these scenes are good in motion or in freeze frames; The Bone Collector with Olivia Birkelund and Jennifer O'Dell's scene from the "Into the Fire" episode of "Lost World" come to mind. 5) Great scene, great vidcaps: this status is reserved for truly fantastic scenes such as those from You Have My Family's Trust (German film with Katharina Abt) and Love Object, with Melissa Sagemiller's extensive taste of the ballgag. The other two categories are scenes that I have thus far seen only as vidcaps, such as a couple of sets of vidcaps from the German tv series "Doppelter Einsatz," or scenes that I have seen only as videos, such as the Lisa Peluso-in-her-underwear scene from "Loving" (complete with on-screen tying and gagging) as well as my girlfriend's personal favorite - no joke! - Hana to Hebi, an extended scene so outlandish it could have come only from Japan (I would love some vidcaps of this classic). There might be some other categories, but I can't think of them right now. |

Friday June 01 01:48:56 2007 "Burn Notice" on USA Network |
I was watching "Starter Wife" on USA...
What? I like Debra Messing! So sue me! ...anyway, I was watching "Starter Wife" and they ran a long ad for the new USA series "Burn Notice". It's about an ex-spy who becomes a P.I. in Miami, & it turns out Gabrielle Anwar is in the cast. She wasn't on the screen long, but it looks like her character is a dangerous street-wise-type, & I *THINK* I saw a flash of her giving a guy a headbutt with her hands behind her back, possibly bound, or in cuffs! Dare we hope? Anyway, one more show to keep an eye on. ...And dammit, Debra Messing is HOT!!, so leave me alone. |

An oldie but a goodie: Dame Agatha Christie's "The Man in the Brown Suit" with what has to be the best first-person account by a bound-and-gagged heroine that I've ever read-or heard. My report posted here last November on the audiobook version is on the archive page at the link below. If, however, you'd rather just stop off at the library and peruse the text, the scene is in Chapter 19. Either way, enjoy! |

One of the ads featured Debra Messing sitting on a dolly all wrapped up in bubble wrap in a sort of ball tie. I thought I was dreaming when I first saw it. Haven't been able to find a picture of it since then. Maybe lost forever. Have liked her too since seeing that beauty of a scene from Prey. Now that was HOT... |

It's a silly little chick flick, but Debra Messing looks VERY HOT. And she's barefoot in a lot of scenes, too. I HATE it when this happens: actresses appear barefoot in some movies (or TV episodes) and are B&G in other movies or episodes! Why can't we have everything we want? Oh, I forgot: Because if we did, life would be boring. |

She was really hot in that movie. My g/f loves that movie and her, and luckily for me, looks a lot like her (I have a thing for redheads). Debra needs another scene, cause that one w/ her tied to a radiator just doesn't do it for me. I hate that lil strip of tape! |

I think it's one of the more underated scenes. Hot damsel, great outfit (red sweater, black boots, black hose), feet and hands tied with rope, and gagged with gaffer's tape that sticky and shows lip impressions. Plus, the handgag closeup, ungagging and regagging in extreme closeups. I thought that tape gag was standard length. Plus, the chit chat with the bad guy culminating with "I think I like her better with her mouth shut" and the gorgeous blonde reapplies the tape. |
Friday June 01 14:38:13 2007 Special Inspector, Beauty & the Beast |
Thanks for the entry for the scene in "They came to Cordura". Hope somebody can also provide info about the other Hayworth scene in "Special Inspector" (title according to IMDB). Hope also you can post caps if you got them.
Another scene that I recall is one with Linda Hamilton in TV's "Beauty and the Beast", where she is grabbed and tape gagged on screen by the baddies. They never tie her. I don't remember if she is indeed kidnapped or rescued by Vincent ("the beast", played by Ron Perlman). I think this was right before Hamilton left the show. |

Okay, let's not be greedy. By the way, I think we may have confused things a little bit, so I'll say this for any readers who may have missed yesterday's posts: Debra Messing isn't the one that may have a bondage scene in "Burn Notice". The original poster mentioned her because he was watching a new TV series with Messing, and then he saw the promo for a "Burn Notice" episode that promised something... interesting! |

Took a bit longer than planned, since my network went down last night, but this week's guest update is up. Yesterday's scenes from Los Dos Caras de Ana are also available as a three-part clip. (See the text links on the front page.) |

Friday June 01 18:30:12 2007 Bijou Philips' Gag Talk at AintItCool.com |
Geek central, aka AintItCool, has posted a set visit of "Hostel II."
In the narrative, the author (Quint) relates an exchange of dialogue between starlet Bijou Philips and the AD, who is responsible for cleave-gagging her for the pending scene. Excerpt: Over the headphones I heard Philips ask, still crying, for the AD put the gag in… a single piece of folded cloth tied around the back of her head. “Put it in tight,” she said. The AD didn’t want to hurt her, so he tied it only loosely at first. “My gag is NOT tight!” It was tied off tight, as requested, cutting into her cheeks pretty hard. They got the first shot off and Philips gave it her all, screaming through her gag, pulling at the handcuffs keeping her tied to the chair, whipping her head back and forth, tears flowing. End excerpt. There's a little bit more on the site, link attached. |

Friday June 01 19:05:03 2007 New novel |
I purused it in the bookstore. Pretty standard pulp and she can't write realistic dialogue to save her life (she's been watching too many soaps) but it has a couple of mildly erotic moments.

I have no problem paying for a good DVD with bondage, but like many here, I don't like the damsel harmed -- let alone killed -- so I appreciate the warning not to see this in theaters, as well as the chance to see the good parts without the murder and mutilation. Heather Matarazzo has never done a nude scene that I know of, so going from nothing to a full frontal suspension is a glorious gift. I wish I could repay all of you with something more than my thanks, but at the moment that's all I've got. |

It was still going on for most of today although Ana was only gagged briefly. The whole ordeal was over by the end of the episode with her being saved and the villain being shot. Monday's episode is the series finale so chances are that there won't be anything but you never know for sure. |

Friday June 01 23:30:07 2007 Ana Layevskys scene |
I'm not a cleave gag fan, except in situations like this where I might have missed a potentially great scene but am consoled that since it was only a cleave scene I didn't miss much. It seems that the beautiful Ana only likes cleaves, witness her even better scene in LA MADRASTA. |

I think "Sudden Mischief" qualifies as well, if that's the one I'm thinking of where the actor dies onstage. It's been a long while, all the same, but I think "Thin Air" is the only one that has the woman's point of view, but they're all damn fine reads regardless. |
