CSI: Miami???
Did anything happen on last night's CSI: Miami? There wasn't an alert for it but I seem to recall someone saying there was a possibility for some rope & gag in the episode a few days ago. I'd made a note to record it but forgot to read the note apparently !!!! :-)

Two females bound with fishing cable, hands behind, no gags, in separate scenes. I think only the first ( nice looking blonde) was shown in a full body shot tied up but she was dead, as usual on these shows.

I just downloaded this episode via. a torrent, and she wakes up in a cage with a metal collar on her neck, which shocks her when her captor (who is a giant canabal) says ahe is being bad. Other than that no other bondage.

A few stick out in my mind.

Heather Locklear's Dynasty scene really caught me off guard, I remember the guy climbing into Sammy-Jo's bedroom and thinking wouldn't it be great if she ended up tied and gagged, but never dreamed it would happen.

I also remember a slightly surreal moment, tuning into Falcon Crest and seeing the matriarch figure (Jane Wyman?) lecturing a younger blonde woman who was inexplicably gagged and tied to a chair in her office.

One scene I don't think anyone could have predicted was Moving where Richard Pryor becomes so frustrated with daugter Stacy Dash ruining his attempts to sell the house he ends up tieing and gagging her in the celler "It's for a school project" he tells the prospective buyers. Oh it's such a sweet little moment

Tied up for fun
I've seen a lot of scenes in my day, maybe as much as anyone but lately have been trying to remember if I've ever seen a mainstream scene where an actress was tied up for fun (and only fun). I can't think of even one. This strikes me as so odd because it just seems like the most obvious thing; take away the violent aspects and the sexual connotations and what's left is... fun.

Ironically, probably the aspect that most people enjoy is the fun part of it; it's all over youtube and the old biel site but I'm wondering why there has never been one (or hardly any) mainstream scenes that depict that. Really odd, imho.

This version of Urinetown will be interesting for fans of barefoot bondage

I know this is obtuse as hell, but there was an episode of a Showtime (maybe Cinemax) soft-core series (Stories of Passion?) that featured a woman who hired a male prostitute in order to service her sexual needs. At one point, she's tied (I think) and begs the gigolo to ballgag her.

In HBO's "The Sex Monster," Mariel Hemingway reluctantly ties up a female friend who wants to engage in lesbian activity.

Hopefully, more scenes like this, only longer with a better gag.

Tied up and not released
Some of my favorite scenes are those in which the actress is bound and gagged but no release is shown.

For me it either leads me to believe that the damsel remains this way for quite sometime and the events that would follow. I for some reason like the scenes with no release because they end the movie still tied up.

Two great scenes being Just a Kiss and Kangaroo Jack.

Does anybody else know of any good ones?

Fall season review
How would everyone rank the recently concluded fall season? With just a few new shows left, I'm counting 7 leads that were bound and gagged, and most on returning shows. Can't recall those type of numbers in any one season.

Vanessa Marcil in "Las Vegas."
Candice Bergen in "Boston Legal."
Diane Farr in "Numbers."
Sarah Wayne Callies in "Prison Break."
Joanne Kelly in "Vanished."
Moon Bloodgood in "Day Break."
Kathryn Erbe in "Law & Order: Criminal Intent."

That would go to 8, but not counting Amy Acker in "Drive" since she technically was not the star.

I would rank this season one of the best in recent memory. My top 3 would be Marcil, Bloodgood and Callies.

Also in the cast of "Women's Murder Club" (http://imdb.com/title/tt0955353/) is the blonde Canadian cutie LAURA HARRIS. She guest starred in last Friday's episode of "Stargate Atlantis" (image below). I don't know if she's gonna keep the "Sam Carter Pixie Cut®" (I hope she does!) but I *certainly* wouldn't mind if the "WMC" writers give her a full-feature DiD-scene... or two... or *several*! ;-)

Uh... are we making a distinction between "tied up for fun" and "tied up for sex"? Not that sex isn't fun, but fun isn't always sex.

So... to get all Numb3rs on the subject:
Where T(s) is the set of all "tied up for sex" and T(f) is the set of all "tied up for fun", T(s) ¿ T(f) would be...

All I can think of is "Mom/Babysitter tied up by the kids". There's a few of those. ...or... "Roommates/Girlfriends/Coeds tied up as a prank", of which I can't think of one example... other than a dream I had a few years ago about "Friends". ;-)

Damn, I can paste in the symbol for "intersection" (upside-down "U"), but it won't display? *Thanks* Mr. Engineer! (Just kidding. I know it's a character set thing.) ;-)

DOUBLE damn! *That's* why I always got B's in math. I could (& can't) keep my sets straight.

I meant to say T(s) *NOT* T(f), or, "tied up for fun WITHOUT sex". Geesh!

No, that was for sex, as I recall (and the guy was confused).
And the other two examples previously were not about fun either.

Yes, just for fun, as in play (it can be sexy, but it's not "for" sex)..

Bound and gagged for fun is extremely rare in mainstream, it seems.

Fun for whom ??

The actress being bound, or the bindees ??

As Van has stated, the tied up adult woman babysitter is not that uncommon on TV, going back to the early 50s with 'I Love Lucy' and 'I Married Joan' and popping up occasionally ever since.

However, while there were a few dramas where the heroine initiated her being tied up so she would seem to be a victim instead of an accomplice, I cannot recall any shows where an adult woman just said 'Hey tie me up' as a fun, non-sexual activity.

This is a very intiguing question and I hope that others can provide some examples.

Excluding consensual sex and game show challenges makes this a challenge for mainstream scenes.

Perhaps there are good examples from scenes involving college sorority initiations or "team-building" exercises.

Suprise scene
I too saw the movie, "The Borrower," I have it on vhs.
I know the scene well, and the supise is even better because the nude, handcuffed and tape gagged woman lying on the hospital bed is a cop who'd lost her uniform after the guy she was guarding overpowered her. One of my favorite type of bondage story.
Pat were you thinking of another movie?

Would a man be able to impersonate a police officer with a policewoman's uniform? Police uniforms are typically not unisex, and on a police force, each gender has its own uniform. Furthermore, the policewoman must've been rather hefty and large if her uniform would fit even an average-sized man.
