| Saturday May 19 00:46:03 2007 Identify a soap scene from the 1980s? |
| Hi, everyone.
I remember seeing a scene on an American soap opera either in the late 1980s or early 1990s. A woman with dirty blond hair is tied up several times. The second time, she's thrown face-down on a bed and has her hands tied behind her with shredded towels, and she pleads, "Please don't tie me up again!" The climax is the woman tied to a pole, hands behind, sitting, gagged with a huge gag and tied at the knees and ankles. The bad guy surrounds her with large cannisters or some other warehouse-type stuff. Does anyone know who the actress was and what soap this was? It's one of several scenes I've never seen since. |

| Hello everybody!
I'm sure this has been posted at some point or another but has anybody else been fascinated by the damsel in distress scenes that feature no release? These scenes are far and few because most notable damsels always get released by the hero, but there are those certain occasions in which the character is very minor such as a bank teller or a woman whos house gets broken into. These women are always seen tied up and gagged but there is never a release scene of any sort. This either means: A. They are never released during the progress of the story b. They eventually get released but off screen. c. They are never released in general. The options are amazing and often lead me to think of possible and logical outcomes. I love scenes like this but almost never see them. The only ones that come to mind are Kangaroo Jack, Oldboy, and Just a Kiss. If anybody else knows of any more of these scenes much help would be appreciated. Thanks to all participants. -KG |

| There was a quick scene in a movie trailer called Mr. Brooks that stars Kevin Costner and Demi Moore. The scene shows her being snatched off the street, nothing more. Any advanced word on this? |

| Speaking of Cool soap scene from the 80's. One of my all time Holy Grails is the Mellisa Reeves Days of our life scene when she and Franky were tied up then the bad guy had her dress up in a sexy teddy and get tied up by herself. Unfortunately I don't think she was ever gagged.

Since the Angels earlier had been putting down/sabotoging the counterparts, some good-natured "rescuer-gloating" would certainly have been a fittng conclusion. Another "missing scene" could've been the T.J. Hooker "Bloodsport" two-part episode. The rescue of the B&g'd senator's wife and Stacy Sheridan is not shown; the scriptwriters could have set up the scene with Sheridan not yet realizing that her charge had planned her own kidnapping, but Sgt Hooker already having figured it out and setting a "verbal trap" for her. And of course: the Vegas "Lost Women" episode!! Where were the women being held? Were some/all still kept gagged? Were they still clad in their bikinis (of course, Vegas being a primetime network TV show, the villains would NOT have had them stripped nekkid)? What kind of shape were they in? |

| I wonder of handgags during sex are apropos to this board. There's an excellent one in the movie "Dangerous Invitation" when a woman starts whooping during sex. There's also a very nice one in "Warrior Queen" when two baddies abduct and then rape a slave girl. (They don't own her, so I guess it's rape even by their standards,) The image provided here is from Warrior Queen. They handgag her when they grab her and they handgag her during sex as well. |

Hey Van, it's close enough; I started the thread tied up for fun and I meant any scene that was not primarily about violence and/or sex, so this scene is a kind of "for your own good thing" and that's cool. According to the script her mom is keeping her from going to a jail to sing for/hang out with, the inmates. I love scenes when things are fun or innocent or just silly/weird like this one; July release for the film, I think. |

The first is Madchen Amick's scene from Hangman, which is my favorite. Another one - and one that fits into another recent discussion thread here - was Naomi Watt's rather unexpected (but brief) handgag during sex in We Don't Live Here Anymore. Jessica Biel gets a very brief handgag of sorts during a sex scene in The Rules of Attraction. Two more that come to mind are unpleasant, especially the second: 1)Jodie Foster's famous rape scene from The Accused and 2) Monica Bellucci's extremely graphic rape scene from Irreversible - ouch. Species II contains a near-rape scene including an extended handgag, and, though I've never seen it, I think there's a handgag-during-sex scene in Farinelli. I'm sure there some more, but those are the first that come to mind. |

First after one too many escape attempts Elina Madison wakes to find her wrists crossed and bound above her head to the top of the bed, Shortly after she is joined in captivity by best friend Tamika Lamison who is roped to a chair. Later Tamika is tied again to a chair, hands behind and this time cleve gagged. It's not particularly good quality bondage though I have to admit. Well, maybe technically they ARE a form of restraint, but I don't think that they deserve an entry for that alone (i.e. no bondage other than the handgag). If so, then simply grabbing someone & holding them down or their hands behind their back, is also a form of restraint (actually more so than a simple handgag) but yet in and of itself that doesn't qualify as bondage. I'm thinking, bondage needs to involve some foreign object restraining the person, letting them be left unattended if need be (rope, cuffs, numerous other things) and the same for gags (cloths, ballgags, tape, etc.). The only time I would include one or the other in an entry is if they were used in conjunction with a "legit" bondage device (ex. being held while cleave gagged, or being handgagged while tied with rope). Just my opinion of course...others may have different views (and in the end, only ONE of us has the final say!!) :-) |

And finished building the wall before 'Toni's boys' show up. Then when he is captured, he could have chuckled that they will still never rescue the Angels in time. Then the Angels could have done something to indicate where they were, bonds notwithstanding. |

| There's a brief skit on MAD TV tonight in the first half of the show with a princess chained to the walls of a wizard's dungeons. The chains are quite long but the manacles are surprisingly snug. A wizard comes to rescue her and spends some time groping her. It's all played for laughs and kinda fun. I'm not familiar with the cast so I can't say who plays the damsel. |
