I did some serious, topnotch lurking for several hours. I kept hitting the refresh button hoping someone would say something entertaining, but no one did.

You don't get lurking like that on any old message board, y'know.

Any idea when the premier episode will be airing??? Sometime in September I assume?

Hope this scene pops up in the Pilot episode. This show has Canceled by Christmas written all over it. When I first heard this show was replacing "Jericho", it sounded like a dud and the preview hasn't only solidified my opinion.

Good guy vampire? Please! It's been done to death already. How about a good guy mummy who leaves evil villainesses wrapped up for the police.

Oh, criminals do the dumbest things you can imagine. They are usually either highly unintelligent or highly nervous about what they are doing. I actually think it's more realistic when you see obvious screw ups in scenes, that's usually the way it is in the world. "You robbed a bank...but left your driver's license with the teller?"....and that was one of the better crooks I represented.

Can't argue with that.

Looks like Shannon Lucio formerly on the O.C.
according to IMDB info on this show.
There's a large nice res video on the cbs site also.
Fall shows typically begin in October.
No schedule listed on cbs site of when new season begins.

old episode of Roseanne
Does anyone know the episode title of the Roseanne episode where Dan's father visits and gives Darlene a pair of handcuffs?

You 'represented'? No wonder they asked you to leave immediately.

Btw - who's playing you in the TV movie?

I don't like the looks of this show either, but it replaces "Close to Home" not "Jerico." The airtime is 9 p.m. on Fridays. "Jerico" will return as a mid-season replacement, but maybe it'll land on Fridays once this gets canceled.

"Ghost Whisperer" also fell badly in the ratings last spring. I think this will be the last season for JLH as well.

You couldn't tell for sure, but I don't think she's gagged in that crying scene, just terrified mumbling.

I think our best shot is if the killer grabs her in the finale. There is one scene where we see him closing the trunk, likely with Lindsay inside. Hopefully, B&G.

Re: Nancy Drew
'The movie starts out with two burglars rummaging through a desk, and we see Nancy Drew (Emma Roberts) hiding in a closet. She accidentally sneezes and is discovered. She talks to the burglars and reveals that she knows they are responsible for a chain of burglaries and that they are working with the locksmith. She also points out that the security guard would be walking into the room but if they cooperate, the DA will let them off easy because the police don’t want them. They start talking and one of the burglars agrees to make a deal with Nancy. She offers a lemon square because one of the burglars is cranky since he had not eaten. When walking out of the building the cranky burglar decides to back out on the deal but before they even realized it, Nancy Drew had already climbed out onto the roof to inform the police that are outside.'

That's simply not true. I was a LOT happier back in the 90s when the bulk of prime-time scenes were coming from action-adventure shows like "Lost World" and "Xena: Warrior Princess" and "Relic Hunter" and a lot of others along those lines. I liked those shows. I'd watch the whole show, happily, the scene was just the cherry on top. Whereas I won't even bother to tape a soap opera unless it's got a remarkable scene like bondage in thong panties or double cheerleaders in flaming peril.

VERY promising, I have to add. Nice find...

By the way, if you're not a fan of damsels with bloodied faces, you won't like Maintenance. The damsel here sports a duct-tape gag, and there is a lot of blood on her forenead and cheek.

Lady Death vs Pandora
Never been big on Brian Pulido's Lady Death comix-- she's all fan service with creepy Little Orphan Annie eyeballs, and bondage is extremely rare-- and the latest series, "Lady Death vs. Pandora," provides little but an extended catfight (with enough blood to make it unappealing, for me anyway).

However...

One of the covers for issue #1 (Lady Death always has about a half-dozen cover variants to boost sales) has this amazing illustration (by artist Juan Jose Ryp) of Lady Death dominating a chained-kneeling-and-nearly-naked Pandora. Nothing remotely like it appears in the book.

I am only posting a reduced version of the cover; if you copy and paste this link:

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v508/Jebdel/ldp1.jpg

you can see the massive complete version.

If you choose to do so, pay particular attention to the publisher's indicia at the bottom left corner: it states quite plainly that this cover variant is the "bondage" version.

Devon Aoki in D.O.A.
I just caught D.O.A. at the theatre. While the bondage scene in the film was sorta brief, I have to say... Hot Damn! Devon Aoki looks *fine* with a thin red silk cleave nestled in her exqusite little mouth, her lips so elegantly displayed, the corners of her gag damp from saliva, an expression of quiet defiance on her face. I knew that the movie had a brief scene, but I wasn't expecting a gag so nice or such "good face" from the actress.

It probably isn't really worth the ten bucks to catch in a theatre (unless you really like martial arts films, and don't mind them on the dumb side), but I would definately reccomend it on DVD.

Heroes for Hire #13
Sometime ago someone posted a large pic of this particular cover; when I went to the website all I could find was the small one. I re-checked archives in this forum but no luck.

I'd appreciate someone reposting it or sending a link; my drive crashed recently and as you can imagine...

ATWT possibility
There may be something coming up here, as some sort of arranged marriage took place. Apparently the bride tried to back out of the deal but wasn't fast enough.
