| There was an alert for "In the Mix" on Wednesday. I just noticed the movie is on Showtime's "On Demand" menu, which means it's free and you can watch it at any time if you have digital cable. Best of all, you can fast forward to the 80 minute mark and get the scene without bothering with the movie. Nice tight tape gag and hands tied behind with rope. |

It was established early on that the girl wasn't kidnapped, but was hanging with the bad guys of her own free will because she thought they were going to help her get her modelling career launched. Actually, they planned to ship her to Dubai where she would wind up in the harem of a Middle Easter prince who like to break women in to their new role in life as a sex slave. I think the series still has huge potential for some good scenes. Just didn't happen this time. > |

| I see from the VCR alerts that The Man Who Turned to Stone is on TCM tonight in the early morning hours. A local station back in Cleveland, Ohio used to play this cheesy movie about once a year or so for laughs, but this is the first time I've heard of it being on a national station. As the listing indicates, there are several scenes, including at least one all-time classic IMHO. Highly recommended.

Until network TV is ready to commit some serious gagtalk, we won't get what we want in these types of scenes. To us, the worst was the Buffy scene with the three ladies tied to stakes. They're frickin' witches; gag them! WTF? If necessary, just have one of them work the gag off. But let's at least start out with realism. |

| Just watched the General hospital night shift episode "Skinned Deep" on soapnet and one of the female doctors receives a handgag as she is walking to her car in the parking garage. Occurs near the end of the episode. |
