Saturday July 28 01:36:42 2007 Another Lohan review |
In what seems like only hours later, Aubrey is out for a rowdy night on the town with her girlfriends, and in a jumble of sidewalk confusion she is apparently abducted. We never see the perpetrator, but next thing we know, she's bound and gagged on a table being subjected to unspeakable torture and mutilation by some maniac who, in short order, amputates several fingers, a hand and a leg. Much of this is shown in grisly detail. |

Unlikely we'll ever see it, since most of this stuff won't even turn up in deleted scenes. Remember Jessica Alba's photo still in the cabin ungagged that never appeared or shown. |

Lots of nice big close ups. ---- And the Associated Press reviewer Christie Lemire also includes "...to the gag that's placed in her mouth as she's being tortured;..." in her review. Now we'll just see if someone who's seen the movie will add an entry to the Scene Database... |

Saturday July 28 07:43:35 2007 Land Of The Giants DVD |
Land Of The Giants finally came out on DVD and I highly recommend getting at least disk 6 that contains "The Unsuspected" with Deanna Lund bound and gagged for most of the episode.
This appears to be a true and completely uncut episode as I've seen several other cuts and this one has all of the gag scenes PLUS another I had never seen up to this point, where "Val" and the putz kid (Both bound and gagged) are made to crawl under a door and there's yet another nice close-up of Deanna's gagged face. This is, IMHO, one of the truely great gag episodes of all time. You have a hottie redhead, knotted cleave-gags, gagging, ungagging, close-ups, you name it. The only negative, just to nitpick, is that the putz's gags are a lot bigger/tighter than our damsel's. |

Saturday July 28 09:32:04 2007 Possibility in "Batman Begins" Sequel |
A new promo photo for the "Batman Begins" sequel, "The Dark Knight" was revealed at the recent Comic Con. It shows Heath Ledger as the Joker brandishing a knife and menacing Maggie Gyllenhaal (sp?) who has taken over Katie Holmes' role. No signs of any DiD stuff in the photo (Ledge's hand and knife block the view of her mouth, but it doesn't seem as if she is gagged). Still, I would say there is a halfway decent chance of her being kidnapped by the Joker (there are lots of spoilers out about this film already but I'm religiously avoiding them). In any case,
I've never posted a photo before, but let's hope it comes through. If not, you can see the photo here. http://www.darkhorizons.com/news07/newjoker.jpg |

Saturday July 28 11:45:26 2007 Flash Gordon (Sci-Fi TV series) |
The July 27-29 USA Today newspaper has an article on page 13D on "Flash Gordon", described as a modern-day makeover which begins Friday, August 10 @ 9:00PM E.T. (Sci-Fi Channel).
Good news: Dale Arden is still an attractive brunette (Gina Holden). Bad news: "...and they've done away with the damsel in distress," Eric Johnson (Flash) says. "You're far more likely to see Flash being rescued than Flash doing the rescuing." |

There are scenes in the film where she is in a conventional hospital with her parents. When somone sees the film and tells us specifically about the hospital scene we'll know for sure. |

Saturday July 28 17:00:42 2007 The picture that I can't see now |
Yesterday, I thought, there was a picture here of a girl with tape on her mouth and putting it on her eyes. There was a request for identification.
It was from the Dutch TV, a girl is forging her own kidnap. It was a very long scene. There is a video of it on the same site as the image and some little description |

Sorry; I should have checked yesterday's posts. Guess I was a bit over eager. I don't suppose it would make up for anything, but Comic Con footage is also showing that Karen Allen will be back for Indiana Jones 4. Granted, she's aged quite a bit, but I still love her DiD scene from "Raiders," and perhaps Cate Blanchett will get the treatment this time around. |

A Flak jacket (from German Flugzeugabwehrkanone, meaning anti-aircraft gun) is a stronger jacket designed to stop shrapnel. |

Today's Tor/Star comics has the babysitter bound to a chair (tape-gag?) hanging by a cheek by an "irritated teether", or something.
Believe called "Bizzaro"? Off to see if the strip online as really hot here tonight and rather avoid the effort of scanning if I can |

Yes, that's really going to appeal to fans of Flash Gordon. Plus, let's get rid of all those stupid space ships and ray guns. And Ming the Merciless? Far too over the top. How about something a little more moderne, a little more hip, like Howard the Vacuous? Howard the Vacuous, who will annoy people on Earth with something safe and non-threatening, like ... bad grammar. And Dale can rescue Flash from being influenced by Howard's bad grammar. Yeah, that's the ticket. |

I wouldn't worry too much. They always have to say that. Keep in mind whenever a new James Bond movie comes out, they always have to say "this bond girl is different than all the rest. She has a PHD in astrophysics, etc..." And yet, I don't see much of a difference between Denise Richards and, say, Dr. Goodhead. So there's deffinatly room for DID scenes in the new Flash Gordon. It'll probably suck like the new Dr. Who, but whatever. PS: Why is the "top-posted" style more annoying than having the referenced stuff on the top? I find it more annoying to see the clunk of forwarded messages first. |
