You know Sci Fi Channel has a new Flash Gordon series beginning August 10 07. Stars Gina Holden as Dale Arden.
Word is this series is based upon the 80's movie, not the 1930's serial. May not be much bondage potential judging from the few entries in the database for other Flash Gordon serials/movies. At least they're keeping the Queen music from the 80's film.

Raffish, you're too much as usual. You're also too kind. I really didn't help you out much. I have a bunch of Spanish scenes, and other, I need to donate to someone. They're just in storage collecting dust. I need to send them to people who can do something with them. I need to get some money together first, though.

Again, all I have is vague discriptions...but...

There's another movie where a couple girls get kidnapped by some Latin militants. Two of them female...first you see the captives abducted and bound. Later you see them in a cell, in their underwear, bound hand and foot. Blindfolded. They're fed but they're left tied up and blindfolded! So the girls have to help each other eat...it sounds wierd but it's a really good scene. Later, the two militant girls are going through some type of torture/training. One girl, average looking, is bound in a crucifix like position and has jumper cables on her feet. She's tortured to death. The second, a really hot (IMO) raven haired girl is strung up hands over head, with a good panning downward from her bound hands to her face. I could never tell HOW she was being tortured, it seems he pulls a chain and it makes her scream. The whole time, he's kissing her chest but she's wearing a shirt.

Later, you see one of the abducted girls bound to a chair, hand and foot, barefoot. Blindfolded. When a man comes in and rips her tongue out. It's a good scene because you see her feet kicking, or trying to, while bound. Pretty brutal movie, not for everyone. But the bondage scenes were excellent.

So many scenes on Telemundo and Univision back in the day. early and late ninties. Most of my tapes have survived but the scenes were so plentiful that I did not get them all. I used to turn on the TV and I swear, there was about a 50% chance I was going to see a really hot chick bound and gagged.

There's 2 other movies I want to describe, but I'll wait and see if this post even lasts. I wouldn't blame the mod if he wanted to delete these vague references...but it's all I have until I can get to those tapes.

This scene opens the 'Maze' episode from the 60's TV series 'The Baron'. Were there any other TV series episodes that opened with a B&G damsel? (would certainly catch our attention!)

A more appropriate questions would be, "What scenes ARE NOT in this comic?". The lead character, a maladroit female superheroine, spends much of her time during the first three quarters of the graphic novel bound and gagged. She is usually gagged with a knotted cloth tied between her teeth.

"She tried to get him to let the girl leave so they could be alone but he insisted she stay, and tied Nicki up in the kitchen....Billy and Malcolm had FINALLY decided something must be up and they headed over to the flat. As they knocked on the door, Nicki let out a muffled scream and managed to alert them. Billy burst down the door and untied her."

Pretty marginal, but some of the movie websites (C.H.U.D. for one) are running ad banners for the DVD release of The Hills Have Eyes 2, and there's a pic of one of the monstrous bad guys hand-gagging a brunette (haven't seen the film, not sure who it is).

That should be it:

Record number: 8989

Title: Comando Terrorista (1992)
Medium: Movie
Actress: Unknown

Description: Mexican movie involves an anti-capitalist Islamic terrorist organization that kidnaps two pretty young rich women. There are many scenes spread throughout the movie. In chronological order:

1) The two kidnapped women are shown tied to poles in a burned out building. The terrorists tease the women with water. The women are clad only in white nighties as they are throughout the rest of the movie. One of the women's nightie is ripped revealing her bra.

2) The two kidnapped women are shown sitting on the floor amid the rubble of the building. They are blindfolded, arms tied behind, ankles tied together. The terrorists leave some food for them and they struggle to maneuver themselves into position to eat. One of the girls eats food out of the bound hands of the other.

3) The girls are led out of the building. One is tied with arms behind, the other is tied arms in front. The terrorists blindfold one girl then tie her to a metal rack that is propped against a wall at a 45 degree angle. The terrorist play mind games with her making her think they are going to shoot her.

4) The belly dancing slave of the terrorist leader is kept chained by one foot. She slips out of the chain so she can meet with the terrorist organization infiltrator who is the protagonist of the movie.

5) Two terrorist trainee women are shown separately in short sequences being tortured, arms restrained overhead, as part of their terrorist training program.

6) Terrorist woman has her arms tied behind her back because she participated in a drunken party that involved the kidnapped women. She is held by the hair and forced to watch the execution of her fellow participants.

7) One of the kidnapped women is tied to a chair, arms behind, ankles together. Unfortunately amateur dentistry mars this scene.

8) The terrorist woman who participated in the drunken party is now being forced to do housework in cuffs and chains. The woman she is working for goes ballistic, takes her outside, and cuffs her hands overhead to a pipe.

9) Short shot of the bellydancer in leg chains.

10) Another short shot of the bellydancer in leg chains

Opens this Friday but film is already out in places and from what I've read there seems to be no b&g scene for Elisha's character. I also haven't read about one person who liked the film.

They've been sitting on that film for almost two years. Similar to "Into the Blue." At least that one delivered.

Yeah, I'm totally on the "Empowered" love train, despite the great deal of fun it has at our collective expense during the fourth-wall-breaking chapter intros. I'm hoping Adam Warren wouldn't mind me sharing the highlights:

"Um, Hi...! It's me again, getting meta-textual on your ass! My sincerest apologies to Ving Rhames, okay?

"Anyhoo. After that last story, I bet you're saying this to yourself:

"'Y'know, it sure seems like this comic's superchica gets herself tied up a lot, doesn't she?' Yeah, I was kinda wondering about that myself. Hmmm.

"Well, the guy who does this comic just told me the shocking and appalling truth about it, okay? And yes, I was shocked. And appalled.

"Check this out: A few years ago, he was supposed to draw a bunch of commissioned sketches for some guys with, ah, specialized interests. Wink, wink.

"Specialized as in, they requested sketches of, shall we say, 'damsels in distress.' Euphemism ahoy! Nice career, by the way.

"But my obviously career-challenged creator got tired of doing pin-uppy illustration dealies of distressed damselage -- or so he says --

"--'cause he's 'all about the continuity, yo' -- so, instead, he started drawing really short (ahem) 'stories' about an oft-distressed and bondage-prone super-heroine.

"That superheroine would, apparently, be me. Degrading much? And you thought that the story of your conception was totally embarrassing, huh?

"But in the course of these throwaway 'stories'...he says I developed a, quote, 'personality"...and a woe-is-me backstory...and a boyfriend...and a nice set of body-image issues, thank you very much...

"...and, well, voila...this goofy mess somehow wound up morphing into a, quote, 'real comic.' A 'real comic' in which, you'll notice, I still seem to get tied up a lot.

"That's not my idea of a 'real comic,' but whatevs.

"It IS kinda skin-crawly to think that, right now, some guy with 'specialized tastes' might be getting, um, turned on by images of me all bound 'n' gagged 'n' distressed..or even, ick, you-know-what-ing to those images...! Brrr...!

(insert giant exclamation-point moment of revelation here)

"Y-you're not like that, right? R-right--?! Tell me you're not -- p-please! You seem r-really nice, okay?"

So there you have it.

Meanwhile, one of my housemates, with whom I hadn't shared this particular little hobby, just stumbled across my latest massive batch-processing job of 300 clips and promptly asked me where I was hiding my dungeon.

Okay, that tears it. NO MORE MAKING FUN OF RAFFISH FOR AT LEAST A WEEK. Do you hear me, world?

I also enjoyed Emp's run-in at the mall with the sleazoid who evidently searches the internet for photos of her captured by the bad guys and "gettin' tied up all-sexy-like"; and especially the chapter "The Other F-Word" where she (*invoke collegian recitation voice for the most ridiculous Penthouse Forum "letters"*) giggles her way through an erotic B&D fanfiction written about her posted online.

Not that any of these scenarios would ring a bell -- e.g., the discussion thread a few days ago on whether one small advance photo from "I Know Who Killed Me" is a standard hospital breathing tube or some sort of gag... ;-)

To everyone who has asked the question "What are the scenes like in this comic? Is it worth getting?", the answer is simple: This is the best bondage comic in years, period. The fact that it is actually very funny and worth reading outside of the bondage element is just gravy. Amazon has it on sale for ten measely bucks.

Although it is more of a mainstream superhero comic and not anywhere near as heavy on the bondage imagery, Warren's GEN 13: BOOTLEG is also reccomended for a humorous/surreal/sexy scene where two nude girls are B&G with plastic Hot Wheel's racing tracks (!?). If you don't mind digging in your local comic shop's quarter bins, GEN 13 #70 (written by Warren but drawn by someone else) has one of the nubile heroines flying around the whole issue carrying a B&G female baddie. Warren has also been posting some bits from EMPOWERED V.2 (due in Sept) on his deviant art page (one of the scenes he discussed writing has Emp getting into a debate about the best kind of gag -so even if this volume focuses more on the humor than the bondage,it sounds like we still get some nice bits).

Re: Empowered
Well, the thing about Adam Warren's Empowered is, it's REALLY FUNNY. Warren care just about as much about the funny as he cares about the sexy, and it SHOWS. I mean the evil being locked in a belt who's addicted to TV and talk radio and talks Jack Kirbyspeak is hilarious! "Who dares disturb the fusion-phallused violator of worlds?" And the superheroine in "Empowered" is HOT. And also, nice!

I'd say if a sexy work is going to make it in the mainstream, bondage-related or otherwise, it's got to have something beside the sexy going for it. John Norman had a real interest in the culture of his barbaric Goreans, it wasn't JUST about the sexy slavegirls for him, and that's really what made it a successful crossover.

Hate to complain, but I had hoped Jennifer Landon would get a lengthy, full-treatment scene out of this. I thought we'd have the typical "evil twin replaces the good twin" scenario where the husband is too dumb to know the difference.

Alas, it's not to be.
