Tuesday August 28 16:45:26 2007 Re: Decorative gags |
Well, I haven't seen any responses to my challenge to name another decorative gag other than the one in The Mighty Taur (or is it, Taur the Mighty?). That means that no such gag probably exists, because I know you guys. If such a gag existed, one of you would have remembered it, and in pretty short order, too.
Thing is, I don't even remember gags from commercial bondage imagery that are decorated in any way. (I've seen a few ball gags with bells on them, that's about it.) I remember one striking image from years ago of a woman in very glamorous bondage that had much of her gear looking almost like jewelry, but I don't remember if the gag was embellished. Am I the only one who thinks it's extraordinary that in all the manyimages of gags on mainstream movies and TV shows, not one has been decorated except for this gag in this very, very, very obscure Italian sword and sandal movie? Which also has what I believe is the only mass all-woman yoke scene in mainstream media as well? Yeah, Taur the Mighty is a silly movie all right. And a strange one, when you think about it. |

---- Virginia Bryant sported a nice studded leather gag in "The Barbarians" (1987) -- the sort a properly despotic tyrant would force his queen to wear. And among the blindfolds modelled in Victoria's Secret catalogs is RK-191-135: "Blindfold with crystal embellishment. Polyester/elastane. $98". Less-expensive blindfolds include some @ $28. |

I focused on the duelling girls and failed to note the background. So I reviewed the scene and captured another image I put on the site as # 52. Hope you like. Ciao |

Tuesday August 28 20:00:07 2007 Roy Roger's Movies |
The Turner Movie Classic is showing some Roy Roger's Movies. Are there any good b&g sences on these movies.
The Cowboy and The Senorita, Don't Fence Me In, Rainbow Over Texas, Rough Riders Roundup, Pals of the Golden West, The Golden Stallion, Heart of the Rockies, & Trigger Jr. There were more that came on this morning, but I was not able to catch them. |

Hate to keep dwelling on this, but this story is becoming more amusing by each reply: Yes, you are amazing; getting away with what was probably was a loaded, irrelevant question (to her) during your conversation at the time w/o even raising her eyebrows at you is even better than coming up with a pick up line, lol. I've never had a problem introducing a little bondage in one relationship but coming out and asking an actress (a friend at that) a question like that, well, I couldn't do it. Kudos man. |

Aren't there contributors to this message board who have posed questions to actresses who are total strangers to them about being bound and gagged in their movie or television roles? Isn't there even an individual who has compiled photographs of said actresses bound and gagged, autographed by the actresses themselves? I recall reading that some actresses become consternated by such bizarre requests or queries, but most of them gladly humor the person and reply as honestly as possible or autograph the picture. My achievement pales before these. I was a regular at the bar where she worked, and she used to serve me drinks regularly. We were on very friendly terms by the time I asked this question, and she exhibited no consternation whatsoever at my asking it. She answered it honestly without batting an eyelash. I was in the habit of asking about her film career; she was a stuntwoman and actress. Since her cinema work was insufficiently remunerative, she worked as a barmaid to supplement her income. I don't recall how I sequed to the question about her being bound and gagged in the movie, but I recall asking about her current project, and then, upon learning what it was, asking about her being bound and gagged in it. She not only replied that she was indeed bound and gagged in the movie, she described the bondage in explicit detail. I think she told me she had been gagged with a cloth, and she also told me about the fabricated nature of her bonds. |

I mentioned it in my original post on the topic. But are rivets really embellishments, the way the beads and the decorative carving or relief or whatever on the Taur gags are? Aren't the rivets part of the gag's construction? Granted, it's a unique gag and I suppose it could be considered embellished, but the embellishment is part of the design of the gag, not PURELY decorative as it were. > And among the blindfolds modelled in Victoria's Secret > catalogs is RK-191-135: "Blindfold with crystal > embellishment. By themselves, though, I think of them as more sleepwear than bondage gear. |
