Consulting the db reveals: Record number: 1214 Title: Bride of Chucky (1998) Medium: Movie Actress: Katherine Heigl Description: Katherine wears a white sweater, black pants. She's tied to a chair in a Winnebago, wrists behind her back; nice close-ups of bound wrists. Rope is also wrapped around her waist and ankles. She escapes, but is recaptured and tied back to back w/boyfriend. No gag. |

What cable system is this on? I couldn't find it on Slime- er- Time Warner Cable. |
Friday September 21 07:27:05 2007 Damn revisionists... |
Not a film I'm going to pay to see thanks to the pointless revising:
"...Todd's take on the classic is decidedly edgier than the original story, and McFarlane's Twisted Land of Oz action figures have a cult following among collectors. Olson's vision will tame that down a bit. "I saw those toys, and Dorothy as some bondage queen isn't something I want to do," Olson told Daily Variety. "The appealing thing about the Baum books to me is how wildly imaginative they are. There are crazy characters from amazing places. I want this to be Harry Potter dark, not Seven dark."..." http://www.toymania.com/news/ messages/9575.shtml Wouldn't it be great if McFarlane responds by making a "Twisted Land of Harry Potter - Hermionie(sp?)in bondage", of course he'd never get the liscensing... |

Nothing for GA, but she did have to jump off a bridge to get away. I also am sorry to see it go. |

Friday September 21 11:30:10 2007 Doomsday (not the one where Superman "dies") |
Over at AICN today, there's one of the most spoilerific (and badly-written) reviews I've ever seen, of "Doomsday", the upcoming post-apocalypse sci-fi film from Director Neil Marshall ("The Descent").
According to the "review", lead Rhona Mitra gets captured, escapes, and recaptured at least a couple times in the film, and after the first capture she is "hung up by chains in a cell" and interrogated. No indication if any of the other capturing involves restraints. According to IMDB, it's due for release sometime next year. |

Yeah, I have to say, from the very first episode, I was pretty sure that it would be Sam, not Fiona, that would wind up with a scene. Shame Lucy Lawless' character offed herself before Mike could take her in-- I could have easily imagined a scenario where he had to keep her B&G so she wouldn't interfere with his operations. I was also really hoping for an encore with China Chow, who (IMHO) looks even better than she did in The Big Hit. Guess we have to wait till next summer to find out. |

Friday September 21 13:34:29 2007 Las Vegas tonight |
Last season's season finale with Vanessa Marcil bound and gagged airs tonight at 9 p.m. on NBC. I'd expect new footage of next week's 2-hour premiere at the end of tonight's episode. So far, they've only shown the overall preview where we can't tell if Sam is gagged on the plane. |

Watching the episode again to compose the entry i'm struck by what a wonderful villianess Claire was, she uttered what has already become one of my all time favourite lines uttered by a kidnapper. When she arrives at the handover point one of the men sees Katy tied up in the passenger seat of the convertable and screams "What have you done to her?" "She's a hostage" Claire retorts "She's supposed to look like that" |

It doesn't look like it in this shot. http://lasvegas-theseries.com/Gallery/albums/album264/017_G.jpg We might get some good stuff though because apparently there are really graphic scenes of him taking her out of the trunk and tying her up again. It will be hard to top the finale but I'm eagerly anticipating next Friday's scenes. |

Friday September 21 23:54:33 2007 Friends Page |
There's a new Friends Page for links. It doesn't look much different, but there's now a handy semi-automated way to add your link. It still goes to "the boss" for approval, but it's a once click deal now. No need to edit the page.
Remember, you must be the site owner to submit a site for inclusion. You must also include a real email address in case there are questions or problems. |
