Friday September 28 07:04:47 2007 Absence, Shed, Kinky Mule Films |
I was going to post this yesterday, but there was an error and I couldn't submit it. Hope it works now. As I was doing my usual Internet hunting, I discovered an independent film company called Kinky Mule Films. They have filmed two films called "Absence" and "Our Lady Of Sorrow". The company's site (link below) contains a "demo reel" which consists of trailers for the aforementioned films and the climax for "Absence". "Absence" is a horror film that involves the kidnapping of a young girl. The (really creepy) trailer for the film features four scenes with bondage: the first one shows somebody trying to put a ball-gag in the mouth of a damsel, the second one shows the kidnapper chaining the damsel's left foot, the third one features the damsel being gagged with duct-tape wrapped around her head and the forth one shows a girl (probably the same as the one in the first scene) tied up with her hands behind and wearing the red ball-gag. There is also a carrying OTS scene (with no bondage). Although it's a horror movie, the damsel doesn't seem to be harmed or wounded in any of the scenes. Just beware of the screaming grandpa after the title appears... The "Sorrow" trailer does not feature any bondage, but it also has a kidnapping scenario. The "Absence" climax is basically the end of the film. It's very violent, it spoils you the film's ending and the only bondage is the chain on the damsel's leg. You don't have to watch it, unless you're a fan of chained ankles. The owners of the company have also a news section, which contains the following: "News: Our latest script 'Shed', a horror about a young couple that discovers a kidnapped girl bound and gagged in the shed of a cabin they're staying in for the weekend, has just won the 2007 Eerie Horror Film Festival's screenplay competition." "Together they've penned a number of scripts including <SNIP> 'Shed', a lean mean horror tale in the vein of Hostel about a couple who discovers a kidnapped victim, bound and gagged, in the shed of the cabin they're staying in." Interesting, huh? And I believe it's mainstream. If it's not, well, delete this post. |

Well, despite the fact that the heroine's profession is given as "bondage model" (the photo gallery shows setups for what appears to be a school-uniform costume bondage shoot), there's no question that its principal thrust (so to speak) is that of a thriller. I'd say it's a mainstream film made by someone who shares at least some of our outlook on things. |

Jeb wrote: > the photo gallery shows setups for what appears to be > a school-uniform costume bondage shoot Oh, you mean this one (link below)? Yeah, I was thinking about the same thing. Maybe the two directors are "two of us"! In any case, I won't miss the film when it comes out. And I hope "Shed" comes into production as well. Best wishes, |

Nice find Abel. Hope I get to see it one day. I wonder if these types of independent films ever make it to your local Blockbuster. Here's another pic to enjoy. |

Friday September 28 11:38:31 2007 The Sarah Connor Chronicles - Lena Headley |
A clip of the pilot episode of The Sarah Connor Chronicles was leaked online. At around the 2 min mark, it showed Sarah Connor (played by Lena Headley) getting handcuffed by the cops. Show looks pretty good. |

And I won't get spoilery here, but I'd say that either she or Heady have some potential for restraint over the course of the show, if it survives. |

I first saw her in Jekyll, and thought she was gob-smackingly hot, even though she escaped restraints (though Gina Bellman's gag scene was a decent consolation prize). I liked the good girl-bad girl dynamic between her and Katee Sackhoff-- be one helluva great gal-gal bondage scene if it happened. |

Friday September 28 14:58:11 2007 Wonder Woman tidbits |
Two things: First of all, EW.com is reporting today that Jessica Biel has passed on the role of Wonder Woman in George Miller's upcoming JLA movie. Secondly, there is a single completists-only bondage panel in this week's JLA #13: Wonder Woman (captured in the "JLA Wedding Special" book by being encased in ice) is shown in futuristic restraints, spreadeagled with her hands and feet stuck in those cylindrical things they use on superheroes, with her head in one, too, covering her eyes and ears. She's not rescued by issue's end, so there may be more next month. It's not even as interesting as it sounds, but if anyone really cares, I could scan it. |

Movies rarely deliver, but a new series could be a jackpot. |

Friday September 28 15:57:29 2007 iTunes bondage |
Just downloaded this scene on iTunes. Not sure if anybody else has used it to find TV scenes and/or movies. Title: CSI: NY aka C.S.I.: New York Medium: TV Series Actress: Melina Kanakaredes Description: Episode: "All Access" (2.21) Merlina gets tied up at about the 42-43 minute mark. It occurs in a flashback. It's the overly obssessed boyfriend plot. BF ties her hands behind her back, then ties her feet with what looked like a telephone cord. They talk, then he knocks her out. BF drags her into bathtub. The doorbell rings. Then mass retardation strikes the writers. Yes, it's verbal gagging time again. BF says "don't scream" and goes to answer the door. Melina uses a razor blade to free herself. |

Friday September 28 16:59:10 2007 hope for ghost whisperer |
Jenifer Love Hewitt was on Fergeson's late night show last night talking about the upcoming season. She said "the season is very different because alot of very bad people come after her character this year. She gets into alot of trouble." There is some hope. She looked great as well, she looks like she lost the extra pounds she had put on last year. |

Previews show her being grabbed by a bunch of hands on a wall (reminiscent of that scene in the fridge in Ghostbusters). And I thought she looked great with the "extra pounds." |

Friday September 28 17:39:00 2007 Does anyone knows if Greg Iles books has a DiD in them. |
I just finished reading Elizabeth Peters' Mummy Case. I liked the bound and gagged scene with the damsel in the story. While I was in the bookstore I saw books by Greg Iles, and I did not know if any of his books that has DiD's in them. Or any other authors,Any help would be helpful. Thanks for your help. |

Abel wrote: >... Maybe the two directors are > "two of us"! In any case, I won't miss the film > when it comes out. And I hope "Shed" comes into > production as well... Whether they are 'one of us' is irrelevant; many 2nd (or 3rd) rate filmmakers know we're out there buying up products that feature key scenes as well as the unpopular to this board, 'torture porn'. The same reason the "Ginger" films were made back in the seventies, all those detective magazine covers back then, etc. -- suffice to say that whether they enjoy tying up their own damsels or not they appreciate voyuers buying it up. The only ones not cashing in on the extra market is hollywood; otherwise Jessica Alba would've never gotten her way with her edit of the original shooting script of that 'Blue' film where she (inexplicably otherwise) wore only a tape gag. Imagine what that scene was really supposed to look like with her in a bikini and how many more dvds they would've sold. |

Friday September 28 21:17:13 2007 LAS VEGAS |
Not quite the disappointment of Kelly Hu and martial law but close. Opens with Vanessa Marcil narrating events of previous season, including her kidnapping. Maybe one fresh shot as kidnapper opens case on plane with medium shot of her gagged. Next time we see her ungagged and untied and being attacked by kidnapper who tries to tie to plane door and prepares to rape her. She pulls something to open door and he flies out as in promo. Only five minutes has gone by when this happens!!! |

I tuned into the East Coast feed of "Las Vegas" at 15 min past the hour and Vanessa Marcil was already back in the casino, so it appears that her tie-up scene ended early as indicated in the promo on NBC's website. |

After coming back from commercial she's back at the casino explaining how she escaped. They were clearly trying to clear up loose ends from last season as quickly as possible so they could get the new season underway. Last time I get excited over one of these carryover bondage scenes. Has any of them not disappointed? Oh well over to MOONLIGHT to see if their scene shows up. |
