Shark down the road
Almost certain the daughter (Danielle Panabaker) will get into trouble this season on "Shark," since they are already setting up the new boyfriend as a sleeze with a checkered history with the law. The daughter really has no purpose in the show, similar to Jodi-Lyn O'Keefe in "Nash Bridges." This should score at some point.

This is the following weeks episode Oct 23:
There was an article in our local newspaper about a hometown actress who auditioned and got a part on the Bones tv series. In the episode "Mummy in the Maze" that airs October 23rd, she plays a kidnap victim who is placed in a pit full of snakes. Episode about a serial killer who kidnaps his victims then submits them to their worst fears:

She played one of the victims of a psychopath.
Her character, Megan Shaw, is caught by a killer who traps innocent people and subjects them to their worst fears — like the fictional Shaw’s terror of snakes.
“There are all these twists and turns,” she said. “David (Boreanaz) and Emily (Deschanel) have to figure out what the victims’ fear is to find out where they are. It’s extremely formulaic, in a sense. The writing in it is amazing.”

And by the way, it's the "Bones" Halloween episode, the cast go to a party, and the costumes are...
Bones (Emily Deschanel) --- Wonder Woman!!
Angela (Michaela Conlin) --- Cher!
Dr. Saroyan (Tamara Taylor) --- Catwoman!
Booth (the Angel guy) --- Lab nerd.
Looks like a hoot... even if the odds of Wonder Woman getting tied up with her own lasso are probably slim and none. ;-)

Ratings So Far
Does anyone know of any websites to go to look at the Neilson ratings for the new TV season? I want to see how "Chuck" is doing. I think the scene that they just had with Yvonne Strzechowski is a classic. This show has the potential for more scenes like that for her, as long as it sticks around.

I love her gag-talk: "Wt r u dng hr?"

I also love the expression on her face after Chuck sticks the tapegag back on her mouth, as if to say "Good job of regagging me."

On its pilot airing, Chuck earned around 9.6 million. Heroes which aired its second season aired at 14.2 million. Have not seen any numbers for the second week of the new season.

This and that and nothing in particular...
...or as villain Phillip Locke menacingly intoned to helpless heroine Diana Rigg before unleashing the power of his diabolical death instrument upon her in the "Avengers" episode "From Venus with Love": "Your last chance, Mrs. Peel! You've seen what it does to people!" To which, without missing a beat, Rigg flippantly replied by observing, "Well, it's quicker than a peroxide rinse." Hmmm...no wonder those scriptwriters didn't gag her much.

Anyway, I come before you today, ladies and gentlemen, with an earnest request and an appeal to your magnaminity and charity. The fate of millions -no, BILLIONS!-of bytes of data may rest upon whether and how quickly you respond.

I've just paid one of my periodic visits to the Internet Archive (http://www.archive.org for the uninformed) and happened across a title in their downloadable movie listings that I remembered from the database-"Sinful Cargo" aka "Yellow Cargo" from 1936, a film for which an entry author gives Eleanor ("Blue Steel") Hunt a scene credit.

Well, that's the good news; the maybe-not-so-good-news is that from the thumbnails that flashed on the movie's Internet Archive page as I started downloading, it appears that Hunt's work may be a pas-de-deux, with the other half of the deux not being of the skirt-and-heels-wearing persuasion, if you know what I mean. The database entry simply says Hunt is bound and gagged without elaboration, but if anyone here-or anyone who happens by in the next few hours (the DVD image is 2 1/2 gigabytes) has any direct knowledge of the nature and extent of male interference, your input would be deeply appreciated not only by me but by the database editors as well.

And yes, I know-as those of you familiar with the archive would point out, I should have pulled down one of the smaller files first and watched the movie before deciding to swing for the fences, but I'm lazy.

book bondage scence

I'm reading Bill Crider's good blog, it's non bondage but a fun blog to check into.

He's a writer of course and talking about other writers. So he mentions rereading a book from long ago, part of the post says that since it was a Gold Medal paperback, they could have used a more attention grabbing paperback cover, as they did for some many of their books.

Two of the scenes he describes with a rew words are : A woman who has her clothes torn off and bound to a pole and whipped.
The other a lusicous red head stripped, gagged and bound spread eagle to a bed.

The book is "Assignment School for Spies." The writer is
Eward S. Aarons. It''s an old paperback, but I think I'll track it down.
Now have any of you read it? Let me know if you have.

Both shows dropped in their second week, as well as Bionic Woman. "Heroes" is a lock for a full season, and "Chuck" and Bionic are likely safe for a full season.

You can check ratings at http://www.zap2it.com or just google ratings with the night you're interested in, such as "Monday Nielsen ratings" and you'll get plenty of information.

One set of shows in trouble are CBS' Friday night lineup. "Ghost" and "Numbers" were way down from last season. I don't think "Ghost Whisperer" will last beyond this season, so the clock is ticking for a JLH scene.

It's interesting, both Neve Campbell and JLH were in Party of Five, and both were in numerous horror and suspense movies, but neither has ever been gagged. What are the odds of that and why do I get a feeling "if it hasn't happened by now..."?

Woody, you may have this information correct already and just made a couple of typos, but if not-

The book title should be "Assignment: School For Spies" with a colon after assignment. That might make it easier to find when you search for it. And the author is Edward S. Aarons (you left the d in Edward out, prolly just a typo)
This book is from a series I used to read all the time when I was a kid. I most likely read this one but we are talking a LONG time ago and I do not remember it, or any of the titles specifically, but there were dozens of them, about the hero Sam Durell, also known as Cajun. Each of the books titles started with the word Assignment: because Durell was a spy who's missions sent him all over the world, and often that location would be the word following Assignment. Assignment: Hong Kong as an example. I don't know how they'd hold up today but they were really good reads back then. And no, sorry, I don't remember if there was much, if any bondage in them or not..you are probably talking over 40 years ago here. And I am virtually certain that these were all paperback originals, not something that came out in hardback first. Hope this helps.

Question about scene from "Heroes"
Before I go and watch the episode on Netflix can anyone who has seen the scene tell me if it's worth my time. I'm referring to the Hayden Panettiere, Ashley Crow tieup scene from "Heroies" episode - Company Man. I read the description saying they weren't gagged but is there still some good struggling or dialogue related to their plight? Thanks for any help

I did a quick scan of volume 2 and saw a chloro scene, magical sleep inducement and a knockout injection, plus many instances of Empowered simply being overpowered, but nary a knockout by punch scene.

The others already offered a few helpful tidbits, but here's a very useful site: http://us.imdb.com . They include television ratings as well as movie box office, cast listings for both (in case you want the name of that babe who got the full treatment...) and members forums that may sometimes alert you to a scene -- or the lack of it. They sometimes have images, including our fave kind, and will tell you if a movie or tv show is available for purchase. Hope this helps!

Since Jessica Biel was bound and gagged only in Nicholas Cage's premonitions in the movie "Next", she really wasn't bound and gagged in the movie was she?

Chuck -- Mon Oct 8
Nothing for "Sarah Walker" (Yvonne Strahovski) tonight. There was a putz scene for "Chuck" himself and a fight scene toward the end of the show between Sarah (in her Wienerlicious outfit and hairstyle) and the female villain in which Sarah knocks the villain unconscious and handcuffs one of her wrists to a pole. No gag.

That was it for tonight, but this show has potential EVERY episode. The preview for next week shows another sexy female secret agent in a guest role.

NOTE: The actress playing "Sarah" (who had a bound-and-gagged scene last week) has her name misspelled in the database as "Yvonne Strzechowski". The correct spelling is "Yvonne Strahovski".

Just wanted to bump this thread as WMC premiere's this Friday. From previous discussions, I think there was supposed to be a scene in the third episode.

Shadow Puppets (2007)
Has anyone seen this? It's a Straight-to-video horror flick starring Jolene Blaylock that was released this past summer.

Plot synopsis: A woman and a man awake in individual white cells in an abandoned prison or mental institution wearing only underwear and without any memory...

I was viewing the trailer and it looks like there's a woman wearing a straight-jacket with a leather mask covering her mouth (ala Hannibal Lechter) chained up in a cell. It's only brief flashes, so it's tough to say for certain.
